Nature, the first step

[Lady Raven Silvester]

Raven smiled as he moved her hair out of her face. At his touch, Raven weakned. When he kissed her she felt like she was in heaven. She kissed back and wrapped her arms around him. She loved him. Her heart leapt at every touch. After a few minutes she reluctantly pulled away. "That was...wonderful to say the least." she whispered as she looked into his eyes. Raven let herself fall into his arms. She felt safe, somehow with him around her.

Dreamer was happy to have Raven respond back, the alternative being he would look like a fool. He pressed on until she pulled away, to which he reluctantly did as well. He had discovered something new, he enjoyed the act of kissing. Then Raven surprised him by moving into his arms, pressing against his chest. His arms were wide for a moment, not recognizing the awkward sign of affection. He was much closer to Raven now, both their bodies pressed together, it was different from riding the horse. This was much more intimate. After a moment, he caught the hint that he needed to wrap his arms around her, and that was what he did.

A smile came to life on Raven's ruby red lips. "Dreamer. I'm going to tell you the truth." she whispered, only audible aol he alone could hear. "I've never felt like this towards a man before. The men I have been with were only suitors. I haven't felt real love until now." she said. She hoped she wasn't a fool in saying this, but it was th truth and Raven only lied if it was absolutely necessary. Her heart galloped like as stallion at Dreamer's touch as her wrapped his arms around her.

Dreamer listened until the only sounds were that of Raven and Dreamer breathing. He waited, one beat, two beat, three beat. Counting the beats of their hearts, trying to concentrate on something real as his mind went into an abyss. "Love" He thought, over and over again, "Is this what it is?Is this the feeling? Love? Is this it?". Dreamer was so unsure of himself, of Love. He was most certainly attracted to Ravent, and he felt something , but was it love?
In the end, Dreamer decided that it was something that didnt need answering at the moment. He opted to lean his head inbetween Ravens neck and shoulder, and relax.

Raven smiled as he rested his head on her shoulder. She wrapped an arm around him, pulling closer. She kissed the top of his head and rested her chin on him. "Dreamer? There's something I want you to have." Raven said. She pulled her bag towards her and pulled out half of a pentagram. She placed it in his hand. "My parents wore them when they were together. I'm sure they'd want us to do the same." she whispered, love clouding her musical voice.

"So many Gifts" Dreamer said, taking the half pendent in his hand. He watched it dance for a moment, swinging on its chain, before placing it around his neck. It rested right beside the one from Ravens mother, one she had given him earlier today....yesterday?. Dreamer found it difficult to remember the time. "Have we mixed up the roles here slightly? I thought i was to smother you in gifts", Dreamer was of course being humorous.

Raven just laughed. "Yeah well I have money to burn. Plus I get paid a fair bit for my healing services." she said. She got up and found some ancient runes on the cave wall. "Dreamer...Do you have an Ancient Rune translator book?" she asked. Her focus was on the glyphs as she said this. They were entrancing. She lit a fireball in her hand to take a closer examination. "Wow. I've never seen Runes like these." she said, pretty amazed. "Dreamer you have to come and look at them." she said with a wondrous smile.

Dreamer looked up at the walls, "I'll never have a quiet day in my life..." he said. It was technically true, seeing as he had yet to see a day in the past...long while, where he had not been involved in something. Oh well, "No i do not...I've basically been unprepared this whole day" he said. He removed himself from his place to stand beside Raven and inspect whatever she had seen.

Raven suddenly remembered. She had her mother's Rune book. She ran to her bag and pulled it out. When she got back to the Runes she let out a terrified gasp. She whistled and her horse came to her. She saddled him up and mounted up. "Dreamer, we have to get out of here. It's not safe. This cave once belonged to a dragon. Spells are still cast here. We have to go." she said and offered her hand to him so he could mount up.

Dreamer wasn't exactly listening to Raven's concerned tone, he had simply attached to one piece of information. "Dragon?" he stated, his curiosity defiantly peeked. He turned his head to the cave, and then back to Raven, then back to the cave, and vice versa. He looked in both directions, wanting both, but forced to choose.
When he saw Raven's fearful face, he sighed and dragged himself to the horse. His face pouted, yes, pouted. He mounted the horse behind Raven.Looking around, Dreamer did his best to memorize where he was, and promised himself that he would return.

Raven kicked the horse into a gallop. "We're heading back to Camelot. We'll be safe there." Raven said. Her horse was quick. Nearly as fast as the wind. They got to the edge of the forest. The sight of Camelot was reassuring.
