Nature, the first step

[Lady Raven Silvester]

Raven was shocked. She kissed him back and wrapped her arms around him. After a few minutes she pulled away. "I saw your future. Someone close to you is murdered." she said. "This can be prevented. The future is not always certain it can change." she sighed, with a lump forming in her throat.

Dreamer was not so surprised that Raven kissed him back, nor when she wrapped her arms around him. He had taken a risk that never was a risk, Raven was in love with him. It was awkward to consider the word in his own conscience, seeing as it made little sense to him. Then again, he felt that would be a secret he would unlock at a later time. For now, it felt good to be hugged, to be assured that the world was not ending for once.

When Raven lifted her head from his shoulders and removed herself from his embrace, he almost pulled her back in. He caught himself though, and let go of her. The action was so out of place, that he ignored it, lest he be embarrassed.

"I saw your future. Someone close to you is murdered...This can be prevented. The future is not always certain it can change".

The words where quick and offered him assurance, but he was not fooled. He wanted details, he couldn't let anyone die, not when he could stop it. "What betrayal do you speak of?" he asked, "and who dies?". Answers, he needed them as soon as possible, a life was at stake.

"That I cannot say. When I looked the vision was cloudy and unclear. I couldn't see properly." she admitted. She felt like such a failure to Dreamer that she just wanted to take out her antheme and free herself of this world. She was still unsure whether he felt the same for her so she maintained her distance until she had the answer she was seeking.

Dreamer couldn't hide his disappointment to the terrible news. It was going to be difficult to halt a death that had not even come yet if there were no details. He bite his lip as he thought about what he should do. He felt like pacing, but didn't want to remove himself from his current position.

"What did you see? every detail, smell, noise, feelings, please tell me", Dreamer said. He was trying to get an idea of what will happen, or might happen.

Raven sighed and closed her eyes. "Smoke. There was a fire for certain. Screams of terror from citizens. I'm sorry thats all I can remember. Please dont press me any further." she said. She tried her best to help him. Then it came to her. "Camelot. He's there." she whispered to herself.

Dreamer was thinking intently as he acquired each new piece of the puzzle from Raven. Smoke, fire, and the screams of innocents led Dreamer to assume that it was going to be in a village. Possible nearby, at least, thats what he was hoping for. It would make his search easier if he had less ground to cover, but he still had no time.

Dreamer looked up in alarm as Raven said that "he" would be in Camelot. Surely not! That meant that there would be an attack in Camelot, a direct attack in Camelot. That was not good news, he no longer had just the lives of one person in his hands, but Camelot itself.

Dreamer raked his brain harder as he tried to think, the stress coming over him. He couldn't think about who it might be, who 'he" is.

Raven sighed. It was her uncle. Attacking another place she loved. Attacking everything in his path. But what bothered her was how he came across Dreamer's path. This was something she had to find out. She remounted her horse. "Come on we have to move." she said.

[Jasen "Dreamer" Masters]

Dreamer nodded his head and followed behind Raven, mounting with her assistance. He moved to a comfortable position behind Raven and grabbed ahold of her sides to keep himself upright. His thoughts were taking him elsewhere, so he was lucky to not have made a mistake and wrapped his arms around her stomach or chest.

"Where to?" he asked as they began to move away.

"Anywhere but here." she said. A thought then came to her. "There's an abandoned druid cave a mile from here we'll rest there." she sighed. Her horse trotted along happily, occasionally nodding its head and snorting with happiness. Raven looked at Dreamer. She smiled at him and gently squeezed his hands.

Dreamer nodded and said, "That sounds good". They began to ride in the direction that Raven had mentioned. Moments by with only the sound of crunching leaves, and heavy hooves stomping the ground. Then Raven turned her head to look at Dreamer, and she smiled. Dreamer was moved from his Dream's and smiled back. He let his rebellious nature subside for a moment, and leaned in to kiss her on the cheek.

Raven's lips accidentally brushed his. "Sorry." she apologised. She stopped oitside the cave and dismounted. Raven led her horse into the cave and let it have some freedom. Her horse looked at her and she smiled and took his saddle and her camp gear off. He lay down and rested. She conjured a fire. The flames were blue due to the magic she had used. She sat down and began preparing something to eat.

When Raven's lips brushed his own, Dreamer did not even feel any surprise. Of course, once he became surprised of his own lack of surprise. Considering his feeling towards being used by a pair of deity's, Dreamer had not problem with Raven. She was attractive, and rather interesting. Dreamer decided he had nothing to lose, and he would see where this particular path would take him.

Yes, a complete 180 perspective.

Dreamer dismounted alongside Raven and decided to watch as she cared for the horse and started the fire. Observing was more of his place, he did not want to get in the way, despite the fact that he may be able to help. No, he wanted to watch Raven from his new perspective.

"Are you alright Dreamer?" Raven asked, as she sat down next to him and touched his hand. A worried expression clouded her face, especially her ice blue eyes. Dreamer was not like any other man she'd met. He was independent, strong and helpful. Unlike the other 'suiters' she had been with. They were lazy, bad tempered and expected the woman to everything for him. But not this man. Raven only hoped that this man would be it.

Dreamer felt the chill of Ravens Cold hand grasp his as she sat down beside him. Her face, her eyes, showed the unnecessary unconcern of a worried woman. He gently squeezed her hand with the one he held it in, and reached up to touch her face with his other one. Dreamer had no idea what he was doing, or why he was doing it. Other than the fact that he wanted to. Dreamer moved aside a strand of loose hair, before cupping her cheek, and Kissing Raven again.

Raven smiled as he moved her hair out of her face. At his touch, Raven weakned. When he kissed her she felt like she was in heaven. She kissed back and wrapped her arms around him. She loved him. Her heart leapt at every touch. After a few minutes she reluctantly pulled away. "That was...wonderful to say the least." she whispered as she looked into his eyes. Raven let herself fall into his arms. She felt safe, somehow with him around her.
