"All these mages are powerful and full of great knowledge. So...Be careful what you wish for. It might come true."
The thought of having access to that knowledge,to the possibilities, did not frighten him. On the contrary, he felt compelled to walked towards each and strike a conversation. To learn from them, to discover their secrets, their personalities, and their reasoning. The hidden mages in the cavern fascinated him, and his eyes would twinkle with delight if they could.
What brought him back to reality was the embrace.
Raven embraced him for a moment, which took his attention from the mages back to her. The hug was nothing special, a simple gesture. Yet, considering the events of the last few hours, it was enough to let his mind wonder yet again. That, and for his cheeks to flush a soft shade of red.
"Come I would like to show you your quarters."
As male as Dreamer is, his mind almost compelled him to ask Raven of her quarters. He almost did not catch himself, after all, he was still a male of his late teens. His mind may not have been as filled with stone, and his stomach of butterflies, but he could still tell the attractiveness of a woman.
He shook his mind of the thought though, and instead asked himself why Raven was pulling her hood up as they walked. It was strange to wear a garment over the face while one was indoors. Then again, there may have been something he does not yet know, some piece of information that he was not yet privy too.
Or she did not wished to let anyone know that she was leading him to her quarters.

Raven got to her room. She took her hood down and rushed over to a cabinet. The woman took out an odd looking book. It said Book of Shadows on the front and had a gold Pentagram too. "Sit." she said, pointing to a chair by the fire. She sat down herself and opened the book. "I take it you have one of these?" she asked as she muttered a spell to light the candles. Her heart lept every time she looked at Dreamer. She sighed and flicked to the right page. "Forgive me I'm being rude. But I must find a particular spell in order to help a friend." she sighed. She reached out to Dreamer and squeezed his hand.

Dreamer was led down a deserted hallway, then through a door into a room. The room was dark, but he could at least tell the very size of it, which was decent. He did as Raven said and sat in a chair that was placed close to the fire pit. Raven retrieved a book from a nearby cabinet and came to sit by a chair beside his own. The book cover had the print The Book of Shadows, with a golden pentagram.
She lit the candles across the room, and Dreamer was able to see the room clearer. It was a decent sized room, but simple. With the chairs they were in now, a few cabinet space, two dressers , and a bedside table along the bed. Dreamer looked at the bed, which was too large for one person, for just a moment longer before turning back to the book.
"No, i do not mind at all" Dreamer said in response to her last statement. Dreamer looked around the room and said, "You treat your guests well, allowing me to stay in such a room", Dreamer did not know it was Ravens room, and not his own. He looked to the book then, and studied the cover for a moment longer before saying, "I actually do not have one of these, what is it? and what spell are you looking for?".

"Its a witche's day to day diary. Full of spells and such." she said. She slammed the book down. "Its not in here. I will have to ask...Merlin. Or the dragon." she sighed. "Dreamer I know this sounds so sudden, seeing as we have just met, but I love you." she said. She turned away, her cheeks flushing. "I'm sorry." she sighed. She stood up and put the book back. How could you be so stupid Raven? she damed herself. She sat on the bed with her head held in her hands.

Dreamer was about to ask about the Dragon. Among all the things that he head learned that day, the knowledge of a Dragon was quite significant. To meet a Dragon would be above remarkable, yet the questions had to chance of being voiced. Not when Raven began to speak again.
"Dreamer I know this sounds so sudden, seeing as we have just met, but I love you."
Dreamers mouth opened, but no sound came out. He was caught between a rock and a bed of needles. His face lite up light a lantern, it grew so bright, his mind began to race as he considered what he should say. His heart said to respond, to comfort and to ensure, his head said otherwise.
He didn't speak, he lifted himself from the chair and moved to sit beside Raven on the bed. He just sat there for a moment before laying a comforting arm around her shoulders. Dreamer didnt know how to respond, what to say, so he was "Winging it" for all intense and purposes.

Raven felt his arm around her. "Dreamer...I-I'm sorry." she said. She lent into his chest. By the Goddess she felt safe in his arms. "Heh, why is the heart always so weak?" she asked, as she raised her head and got out her black, silk handkerchief. She dapped at her eyes. "Truley, I am sorry." she smiled, weakly. Everytime she saw Dreamer she felt like she had to be close to him. Like she had to protect him.

Dreamer felt Raven press herself into his chest and apoligize to him, "No need to be sorry" he said. He kept her there for a few moments longer before she raised herself to pull out a hankerchief to dry her eyes. Dreamer let his hand drop, to avoid an awkward position, and let his hand stay pressed against the bed behind her to hold him up as he leaned back on his hands.
"Heh, why is the heart always so weak?"
Dreamer smiled and leaned up from his hands. He reached out with one to grab Rabens chin, gently, and have her look at him. "Were you not listening the first time? You are strong, for it is the emotion in ones heart that determines the strength of an individual, and your tears are merely a reflection of what your heart feels". He dropped his hand from her chin but kept his smile.

Raven put a hand to his cheek. She leaned in a kissed him. She pulled away after a few seconds. "By the Goddess. Im so sorry I dont know what came over me." she said. She stood up and turned the fire back on. "I understan if you dont feel the same way. It's just I've been waiting for someone like you my whole life. Now that I have I've just ruined it." she sighed.
OOC: I know a celeb you can use for Dreamer. Camui Gackt.

Dreamer felt Ravens hand on his cheek, and did not mind it. Yet he was suprised when she leaned in and kissed him. He didnt resist, but instead enjoyed the suprising moment. Then it was over, and Raven pulled away to apoligize.
Dreamer watched, silently, as she turned and started the fire again. He may have been vocally silent, but his mind was racing again. There seemed to have been an alarming number of suprising events that day, causing him to think constantly.
"I understand if you dont feel the same way. It's just I've been waiting for someone like you my whole life. Now that I have I've just ruined it."
Dreamer was quiet for a moment, intent upon falling back into his silent routine. He was in no-mans zone, a place beyond what he was comfortably used to. He didnt know how to react, yet he knew he had to say something. So he took his first step, and tried.
"I...I dont remember objecting" he said awkwardly. He didnt know what to say, but he did like it.

Raven walked back over to him. She took his hands in her own and smiled. "So this is it. You've accepted my heart?" she asked as she looked at him. Her heart raced and so did her mind. Was her going to accept or was he going to reject her like so many others? All she knew was, that Dreamer had the answer. It was simple yes or no. She waited, her heart galloping like a frightened deer in the forest.

"So this is it. You've accepted my heart?"
With Ravens hand in his, Dreamer had mere moments to answer the most complicated question of his life. What did he know of love? He wasnt even sure of if it was his own feelings, or that of two imposing deities. It was all so complicated, but he was supposed to answer now.
A bead of sweat runs down his forhead as he thinks. He did wish to say yes, but he knew nothing about the women infront of him. Raven, who was so open to offering her heart to him in a moments notice. It was nice, to know he was loved so unconditionaly, but he didnt know her.
"I" he said, then paused before saying in a more assured tone " Yes".

Raven embraced him. "Hang on." she said she swept over to her dresser and opened a drawer. She took something out of it. It was her spellbook. She walked back over to Dreamer and handed it to him. "Keep it close to your heart. Its sure protection against harm." she smiled. A knock came at her door. "Come in." she said. A small girl walked in and curtsied at her. "My Lady. The High Priest wishes to speak with you." the blond haired girl said. "Alright. Tell him I'll be there as soon as possible." Raven smiled. The girl bowed her head and left the room.

Dreamer held the book in his hands, the one with the pentagram, and rubbed its cover. It was soft and he could feel the grooves of the pentagram. "Why?" Dreamer asked, holding the book in both hands.
There wasnt any time to answer. There was a knock at a door and a young woman opened the door. She informed Raven that the High Priest wished to see her. Raven responded and the girl left.
"Who is the High Priest and why do they want to see you?" he asked.

"The High Priest is an old friend of my mother's. He watches over this clan of mages. I don't know why he wants to see me but it must be important." she said. She walked out of the room and turned back the way they had came. The girl was in the main cavern and escorted them to a bigger one.
When she entered she smiled at the High Priest and Priestess. "Ah Lady Raven. We need your help. Your influence over the Elements can help." said an elderly man. "Of course Delano. What can I do?" she asked. Delano smiled and walked over to her. "It is our enemies, Lyon and Lord Durham." he said. Raven nodded as a look of hatred flashed across her face. "I eavesdropped on one of their meetings and Lyon is helping Durham to be rid of you." he said. "Then we must be rid of them. Ever since my uncle killed my family he's been after me to get my family's home." she growled. Delano nodded. "Indeed. Now go, there are horses waiting for you both outside the cavern." Delano smiled. Raven bowed her head to him and left.

Dreamer watched as Raven left him alone, the door closing behind her as the servant led her away. He watched the door for a moment, with only the crackling of the fire to keep away the quiet. Eventually he turned his head to the book at his lap, the one he had just received as a token of love.
Love....What the hell was going on?
Dreamer felt something for Raven, yet he knew not what it was. It could be love, it felt good, yet he was unsure. He didnt know if he could even trust it. If what Raven said was right, then their "love" was meerly a conjuration from two deities. Probably with nothing to do, Dreamer hoped that the unknown irony that the gods shared was enough to entertain them.
Dreamer ran his hand over the cover again, and then reached into his pocket to grab at the pentagram he had been given as well. Two gifts in one day, it felt like a twist on his birthday. Dreamer thought back to when his birthday was, and realized that although he missed the last one, it was not today.
Damn, then i might finally understand something.
Dreamer sighed and put on the pentagram, letting it add to his collection of shiny objects he tended to wear. Feeling it against his skin, he left it be and decided to open the first page of the book. That was when Raven entered the room, and he closed it once again.
