He could feel the pull.
Something was drawing him outside of Camelot, away from his life. He had been tempted all morning to drop his work, which he still had enough of, to walk out the gates of Camelot. The pull was not sinister, he detected no danger from it, yet he still felt cautious. By at least ten am though, he began to feel restless.
Finally he though down his papers and ran out the door of his office. Through the guild, and out into the streets, he did not stop until he met the main road outside of Camelot. Looking around, Dreamer felt compelled to travel off the beaten path and into the forest. Dreamer put his hand to one of the three blades he always carried on his person now, the one at his waist.
He couldn't resist though, and he followed the way he was tempted to go. Dreamer began to smell the fresh scents of nature, something that was a reward in itself. He was to used to the smell of civilization, rotten stenches and dusty old books. He had almost forgotten the fresh smell of freedom.
Dreamer found himself quickly in a clearing, unknowing where he truly was. The odd part was, he could have cared less, he felt at peace for once. Dreamer did feel a twinge of hunger though, and was lucky enough to catch sight of a bush of blueberries. Running over, Dreamer began to pick the tender fruit from the vines.
Crack!
Dreamer drew his blade in an instant at the sound of a twig snapping. It was an instant reaction, he had become slightly paranoid it seemed. He did not find an enemy, as he suspected, but a young woman instead. "Oops" Dreamer thought to himself, lowering his blade. "I'm sorry milady" Dreamer said, apologizing for the intimidating gesture.

Lady Raven had been out here since dawn. She loved the forest and the challenges it presented to one. She smiled as she trotted gracefully on horseback to her favourite spot. She sensed another. Another being with magic. But this didn't stop her. She need some herbs for her remedys. As she edged further into a clearing the sensation became stronger. She stopped gathering the herbs and remounted her steed.
Putting him into a walk, she urged her stallion on. A twig snapped under the black horse's hooves and she panicked as she saw a pull a dagger on her. "It is alright good sir. Just please put it away I mean no harm." she smiled as she pulled on the reins. The horse snorted and came to a stop. Dismounting, she smiled. "My name is Lady Raven Silvester." she introduced herself. Her silver pentagram glinted in the streams of sunlight that was coming through the roof of trees.

A lady on a black horse, what a symbolic gesture indeed. The pentagram on her neck, something his eye did catch from the gleam, could mean something else as well. Dreamer did not wish to conclude that she was another magic user, because that would open the possibility that it was her whom compelled him to come to the forest alone. If that were so, then he had been tricked by someone with great skill, someone whom he had no knowledge of.
"I am Dreamer, lady Silvester" Dreamer said, nodding his head towards her. He did not advance upon her to aid her in dismounting her steed or for pleasant conversation, as courtesy would call for. Although he did not want to believe it was her who summoned him, that didn't make him a fool. He would keep his distance, for now, and wait for any signs of danger.
"Why do you travel so far into the forest at this early hour, Lady Silvester?" Dreamer asked her.

Raven advanced to him. "I'm out gathering herbs. The magical potions I make sell well for a cheap price as I care so much for the poor. If they cannot afford it I will just gove them what they need for nothing in return." she said. She extanded a pale, white hand and touched his arm. "You summoned me here. I felt your presence. Perhaps one cannot live without the other." she said. She looked over his shoulder. Pushing him out the way she extanded her right hand. "Hac vomica vos mos intereo per manus manus of Dea!" she cried. Her eyes falsed gold and the thied dropped dead.
She rushed over to Dreamer. "I am so sorry." she said and offered her hand. Her heart was beating fast. "I'm an Elemental Witch." she said. She looked at Dreamer like she could never set eyes on another man ever again.

Dreamer felt the pale cool touch against his skin and took in a breath of air. It was all he could do to keep himself under control, the rational part of his brain was telling him he was alright. The more paranoid, irrational side was saying that he was in immediate danger.
Then she pushed him
Dreamer landed with a thud against his shoulder, and looked over to see Raven kill a man whom was coming up behind him. "So much for wanting to believe she was normal" Dreamer thought to himself. When Raven was finished, she rushed to his side and offered him her hand. He looked at her for a moment, and his eyes lingered. She was looking at him in such a way that he had never been looked at before. It gave him a glimpse of her beauty, the way her hair fell over her face and gave her sense of mystery that seemed....
Dreamer dismissed the thoughts, he took her hand and lifted himself up. Dreamer looked at the intruder, and wondered if it was another assassin. Then he looked at Raven, and couldn't understand what to say. At first he began with an apology, "I'm sorry...that...i never...it happens...". He gave up on that, and turned back to the previous subject.
The summons.
"What do you mean I summoned you, You must have been the one to summon me. Why?".

"I felt you. You were calling to me. So I had to see who it was." she smiled. She kept his hand in hers. "Forgive me." she sighed and et his hand go. "I-I've never felt like this before." she admitted. She sat on the floor, her black, velvet cloak resting around her. "Its just no one has ever called to me before." she said and wrapped her slender arms around her knees. She rested her head on her arms. Silent tears fell to the leaf strewn floor. She was upset. Usually Raven was a strong girl. Shy but strong. Now she was in a moment of weakness. Something she couldnt understand.

Crap.
Dreamer watched as Raven pulled her knees to her chest and cried. Although she may have attempted to hide them, He could hear the soft sniffles of tears being shed. Caught between a rock and a hard place, Dreamer attempted to get a handle on the situation, and decide what to do.
You see, Dreamer was many things to many people. One of which was not, and has never been, a lady's man. Although he has had many pretty girls fall for him and his talents, he had never dealt with them. He had always found a way to avoid, or hide, from them. He had never been able to talk to a woman personally, or intimately, so he simply avoided them.
Now that was all going to bite him in the ass. Here he was, with a poor young woman crying beside him. He did the only thing he could do, ask questions. Approaching her, he knelt beside her and placed his hand on her shoulder, above the cloak. "What is wrong?" Dreamer asked, like the poor poor simpleton he was.

"Its just me. I know Im weak but what else can I do?" she sighed. She wiped her eyes and breathed in heavily. She looked at Dreamer. "I dont know what attracted me to you but I suppose thats what the God and the Goddess intended." she smiled. Raven rummaged in her pockets. She pulled out a pendant. It was a heart with a pentagram engraved on it. "It was my mother's. I want you to have it." she smiled and placed it in his hands.

Dreamer looked down at the pentagram in his hand, and his mind burst with close to a billion thoughts. All in a moment, yea, that gave him a headache. Dreamer noticed the intricate design, and the placement of the pentagram in between the heart. The pentagram being a basic symbol of magic, the heart being a symbol of affection.
Dreamer didn't understand, he couldn't comprehend why he felt such compelling emotion to a complete stranger. Yes, although he may be oblivious to an obvious signs, he did feel compelled toward raven. "You are not weak" he said, "You are strong, for it is the emotion in ones heart that determines the strength of an individual, and your tears are merely a reflection of what your heart feels".
Whoa! Take a step back there Casanova.
Dreamer didn't know where the words came from, but he cared little about it, he only wished to help her stop crying. He then turned to distraction, "God and Goddess? Which one's do you speak of?" he asked. He had read of many gods, and many goddesses. Different religions, different beliefs, all held their own deity's. Although some of what he had learned was forbidden knowledge, due to religious pressure, he had read of them nonetheless.

At these words she was felt comforted and her tears stopped a little. She put a hand to Dreamer's face. "The Wiccan God and Goddess." she said. Raven's horse nudged Dreamer as if to say..Give her a chance. He whinned and snorted through his velvety nostrils. Raven noticed her steed's behaviour. "Stop it Dyfore." she eased. She looked away from Dreamer. She knew he would never return her feelings.

Dreamer closed his eyes as Raven placed her hand upon Dreamers cheek. It brought an exciting chill down his body as his warm skin met her pale cool touch. He breathed a sigh of relief as he lingered in the affection. Words went unspoken as he sat there, enjoying the moment.
Then reality gave him a nudge.
Dreamer opened his eyes and turned his head, incidentally away from Raven's hand, to look at the horse. Dreamer looked into the beasts eyes for a moment, then realizing what had just happened, his face began to grow red. He couldn't exactly describe what it is that did happen, but it was something, something he wasn't used to.
Yet...
"Stop it" Dreamer thought to himself, he didn't understand, and he felt uncomfortable not being able to get a clear cohesive thought. When he took a moment to look at Raven, he lowered his head to stare at her shoulder. He made sure that his hair was over his eye with the color of gold. It was something he was born with, something that he had felt separated him from everyone else, a physical trait that showed he was different.
"Do these deities have names?" Dreamer asked, not knowing what else to say.

Raven smiled. "Yes. Mother Goddess and the Horned God." she said. "It wasn't fate that brought me here this day. It was them leading me to you." she said. She took Dreamer's hands in her own. "Accept it or not its your choice." she sighed. Looking up at the sky she saw clouds begining to form. She laughed. "Rain. It always had been my favourite weather type." she said.

Dreamer left his hand in Ravens, he felt no need to pull it away. He watched her as she looked up into the sky, mentioning the approaching rain. "Rain," Dreamer said, "I havent enjoyed such weather in quiet some time". Dreamer didnt want to say it, but he liked the rain as well. He enjoyed it as the cool water brushed against his skin. His mother used to leave him as he sat above the carriage, content in soaking his clothes. She gave up on trying to keep him inside, he could not be bound on such occassions.
"Catchy names" Dreamer said, "why are you so convinced that these deities have done this?".

"Is it not obvious?" she asked. She rested her head on him. Then she pulled out her antheme and drew a circle around them both. "Protect us once, protect us twice. Protect us from evil and prying eyes." she chanted. Her eyes flashed gold and the spell was over. "My heart is yours." she smiled.

Can a face get that bright?
Dreamer bet that if someone were to look now, they would have to categorize a new color for red. Not quite used to being so close to a woman, he was just getting comfortable when Raven placed her head on his shoulder. He stayed silent and still, his hand still in hers.
She removed a antheme and drew them a circle or protection, casting a spell to protect them from wondering eyes. Two people in close quarters, with a spell to protect from anyone seeing them. Dreamer was oblivious and his mind still jumped to conclusions. Dreamer started to feel a little uncomfortable, but thats only becouse he forgot something.
What was it? Oh yea! That's right!
BREATH
Dreamer drew in a breath and choked for a little bit. He had been so absorbed that he had forgotten to breath. He was way to tense. Still coughing, Dreamer said, "Why...why don't we start at the beginning here!". They were total strangers, with no knowledge besides their names, and she just offered him her heart.
He wasn't quite sure if the gods hated him or not, but they must at least be amused.
