Legend glanced around. He had just come from the Enrollment Office for magicians of Camelot. He was quite curious to see what his fellow magicians were like. He was hoping to run into one of them. Sighing, Legend stopped walking and leaned himself against a wall. He watched the many people and soon bored himself and got up. He walked slowly as the other people walked hurriedly around him. He looked behind him for a moment and when he turned to face forward again he ran right into someone. Legend stepped backwards in surprise. " I'm so sorry!" he started. He hoped that whoever it was, was in a good mood. If they weren't, he knew that, that would not be a good way to meet the someone that he had accidentally run into.

Chase headed towards the magicians guild. He was not in a good mood. He once more been defeated by Dreamer and this time Merlin knew about it. Not only that but in his rage he had manipulated a hurricane into attacking Camelot. Now he had to think of an excuse fast or flee the country, which his dad would never allow. Luckily no one else except for Dreamer knew that it had been Chase in control of the storm. Merlin probably suspected but so far as Chase knew he had yet to do anything. Chase needed some way to mop up the mess fast.
Chase's musings were cut short as someone ran right into him. His feet back peddled desperately before catching on an uneven stone in the square. Chase fell backwards landing painfully on the cold stone.
"Hey watch where you are going idiot" Chase said as he slowly got up wincing slightly. "Well saying sorry doesn't exactly fix things does it." Chase hoped not to much dirt had gotten on his clothes.

Legend took a step back with a frown. He didn't know what to say. Then something hit him, maybe this boy was a magician too. Choosing his words carefully Legend said, "Look, I'm very sorry that I ran into you. it was my fault, I looked over my shoulder instead of where I was going." he forced a small smile and went on, "Now can you please answer my one question?" Not waiting for the boy to answer Legend asked the question, "Are you a magician?"

Chase examined the teen who had run into him and was unimpressed with what he saw. The teen was slightly scrawny short and overall seemed to simply be average. He didn't have time to deal with the boy. He had to get to the guild and see just what rumours were circulating about the hurricane.
The teen's sudden and unexpected question threw Chase for a second. Now why had the teen asked that? In a split second of thought Chase's mind thought of two possibilities. either the the boy recognized him as Chase Caldera, in which case he was asking just to make sure, or...
"Your a magician aren't you!" Said Chase. It made sense. Magicians often could sense each other if they tried and Chase never tried to hide his magic. The question was what did the teen want and how strong at magic was he? If he had been able to tell that Chase had magic he probably was pretty good. He waited for the teen to answer.

"You're a magician aren't you!"
Legend nodded. He had heard that some magicians could sense other magicians if they tried. This boy had obviously sensed him. Legend extended his hand carefully, "My name is Legend Filikan, I just arrived at Camelot not too long ago from Avalon." He thought for a moment then asked, "Who are you?"

Chase smiled as Legend nodded. A new magician in town was perfect. Chase had been meaning to get someone to help him out in his schemes against Dreamer and only a magician would do. Helping young magicians often paid back as Chase's dealings with Keleth had shown. Not to mention Legend seemed like the type who would feel like he owed Chase something.
"I am Chase Caldera. You might have heard of my dad he pretty much controls the wine market." He said, "I am a double mage of the guild in elemental and dark magic." A sudden thought struck Chase "What type of magic do you specialize in?"

"I haven't been here very long, so I really only know Merlin and you." Legend replied.
"What type of magic do you specialize in?"
Legend replied to the question, "I specialized in white magic." He knew that soon he would have to practice the magic to make it strong. The problem was he didn't exactly know who he was supposed to go too, Merlin or another magician? He was guessing Merlin because of the other magicians where training too.

Chase continued smiling reassuringly at Legend as Legend answered his question. Inwardly though Chase was jumping with joy. White magic! Could this get any better? Chase was just starting to practice white magic. Maybe he could learn some tricks from Legend, at the very least it was a way to get close to him making him easier to manipulate.
"White magic really? How much do you know?" Chase exclaimed. "I am just starting to learn that. We need to get together some time and trade tips. The last magic I learned was black so its kinda hard trying to get accustomed to white now." Chase said modestly Years of training enabled Chase to seem completely sincere. After all he had been brought up surrounded by intrigue. When he needed to Chase was incredibly convincing and charming.

Legend frowned, "I'm just starting to learn it too." An idea struck him so he added, "But since you said it's kind of hard getting used to it, maybe I could help. I don't know any other kind of magic so it would be a little easier for me." He hoped that Chase would agree to his idea. Now that they were on friendly terms it was easier to like Chase.

Chase kept his smile unwavering as Legend agreed that they should train together sometime. Things were going perfectly. Not only had he found another magician who he would hopefully be able to use in his vendetta against Dreamer but it was also a white magician.
"That would be awesome! We can both give each other tips on how to do it." Chase said enthusiastically. "When do you want to meet? I am free whenever."

Legend thought for a moment, "I don't know really much at all so I was going to start my training after I meat some of the other magicians. If you were heading there then we could go now, if you'd like." Legend smiled and waited with patience for Chase to answer.

Chase paused for a moment before answering Legend, no need to seem to eager, "Hmm okay I can train now. Where do you want to train? I often train in the guild or out in the woods. As I said though I don't have much experience in light magic so I don't know where it would be best to train." Chase's words were not strictly true, he had trained in his hidden lair in the sewers as well. However there was no way Chase was going to reveal that to Legend until he proved himself trustworthy

Legend thought over the question that Chase had asked him. He wasn't all that sure where he wanted to train. He actually didn't care. Thinking that perhaps it might be more polite for Chase, being a more experienced magician, to choose where they would train. He frowned slightly trying to decide what to say. "It doesn't really matter to me, where ever you think would be better." Legend replied with a friendly smile.

Chase thought for a moment before deciding on where he wanted to go. "Lets go to the forest. Its where I first trained and it should be nice and sunny out there. Not to mention plenty of things to use for the training. Anyway believe me its fun sitting in a glad or in a tree." Chase didn't particularly love training in the forest but it was definitely the next best thing after his lair. Not to mention it gave Chase a chance to show off one of his skills. "Don't worry about it being to far I can teleport us if you'd like.

Legend's eyes grew huge, "You can teleport!" He was so shocked he couldn't really find words. He had never met someone that could teleport. That wasn't a shocker, besides Merlin, Chase was the only other magician he knew. Legend realized that he still hadn't given Chase his answer. "If you'd like to teleport, it's up to you, I have no idea where I am going so if we do walk it would be sensible for you to lead." Like he had said, Legend did not know his way around the woods. So he would be more confident if Chase led.
