Chase grinned at Legend's eagerness to continue. Here was a tool that Chase could rely on. Hard working, clever, and an obvious taste for power. Chase could use all of those qualities in his right hand man. Finally Chase had something Dreamer did not. A powerful friend that would help him. Before long Chase and Legend would have enough power to put Dreamer away for good.
Chase turned his thoughts away from the pleasant images of Dreamer defeated on the ground and focused on the water dragons Legend had summoned. They were quite interesting. He could not help but wonder if they could fly. Raising his hand Chase pointed at his snake and muttered "Tyfu" Instantly his water snake grew to about the size of a dog.
"Lets see what happens when they fight!" Suggested Chase eagerly. He loved battles and shows of strength. This one would simply be fought with their animated creations.

Legend nodded, just as eager, when Chase suggested the see what would happen if their water creations fought. Legend flicked his hand and said, "Magnus." The three dragons combined into one, and the dragon, as one, grew into the size of a eagle, it's wings about three feet long. "Interesting...," muttered Legend as the dragon flexed it's wings.

Watching Legend's dragon's combine and grow filled Chase with the wild delight that always came during a fight. Few things filled Chase with as much joy as a good fight and this fight promised to be interesting even if he was not the one doing the fighting. Still things looked pretty equal between the two animals, both were about the same size and both dragons and snakes were dangerous predators. The dragons wings and body mass would probably slow it down some but it compensated for that with its claws and sharp teeth, Chase's snake meanwhile would probably be faster and had the incredible striking speed of a real snake but could only bit or crush Legend's dragon.
Chase's snake struck first with a bit aimed at the dragon's neck.

Legend watched, transfixed as the dragon easily stepped to the side, avoiding the snake's blow. The dragon seemed to be frozen for a small moment, then it aimed a clawed paw strike at the snake. Legend looked at Chase to see how he would react to that. He had to admit this was a good idea.

Chase examined the movements of the snake and dragon trying to guess what they would do next. The snake was connected to Chase and should follow the same basic strategy but Chase couldn't be sure. It was his first time doing this after all. He grimaced slightly as the snakes bit was dodged not that he had expected to win so early in but it would have given Chase's snake the advantage.
Swiftly the dragon counterattacked by swiping at the snake. Instead of avoiding it entirely the snake allowed itself to be hit, although it leaned back to avoid most of the damage, and then at the second the swip's momentum ended the snake attached itself to paw in an attempt to snap it.

The dragon shook it's paw trying to loose the snake. If it could be counted as having feelings it would be clearly annoyed. It's watery form shimmered as the sunlight caught it. It was quite a pretty sight. The water dragon looked like some kind of icicle that wasn't ice, if that was possible. Legend thought to himself, This is a good way to practice animating objects and physical properties. He was enjoying this, and he could see that Chase was too. Or at least it seemed as thought Legend's fellow magician was enjoying himself.

The snake slithered up the dragon's paw heading for the neck. Chase smiled grimly at the plan. He didn't know if animations needed to breath but if they did it would give the snake a huge advantage. The snake would be able to choke the dragon while it would be difficult for the dragon to get a good hit on the snake without hurting itself. Also from the neck the snake should be able to bite the dragon's lower neck where it had less protection against such attacks.
Chase turned to Legend interested in his opinion and asked "Don't you think its interesting how while we do not directly control our animations they still follow what we would do if we were controlling them?"

Legend thought for a brief moment. That was indeed interesting. Before answering he watched the dragon try to swat at the snake with it's tail. "Yes that it is interesting," he agreed. "Do you think that because we animated them that they are part of us?" He looked at Chase with interest, "I mean, like you said, they move like we are controlling them, maybe since we animated them they have our thoughts. It makes sense, don't you think?"
