The Knight looked up and sighed. Many tried to become Brotherhood members, but few had what it took to succeed. "Well, as a thief, I would hope that you don't expect to be using those often." He said after Faith had finished speaking. Weapons were a last resort for thieves, they needed to be stealthy, to take their prize and escape unnoticed.
"You can begin your training as soon as you are ready." He said and looked back at his work and motioned towards the door.

The Knights' eyes turned to Henry with a cold stare. "His body may lie, but you know his spirit does not rest."
He didn't want to reveal to Henry what was about to happen, he was a volatile boy and saying the wrong thing might set off his short fuse. The Knight spoke, his voice low, "If you wish to help your friend, you will not interfere." With that he turned to Chase. "Get on with it, it's cold, it's late and I have other things that need my attention."
In reality there was nothing more important to the Knight than this, but he wanted Chase to hurry, the anticipation was killing him.

The Knight looked at Chase for minute before tossing him an ancient tome at him. "You're going to open that to the marked page and use it to unlock the power of the item that is on the table. If you do it properly it will bind the soul with the body causing resurrection. If you fail... well then there will be two corpses here." The last part of the sentence had a threatening edge, but the Knight knew that Chase wouldn't fail.
The Knight stepped away from the table into the shadows where the torchlight did not reach and he waited, watching carefully as Chase began his work.

The Knight looked over Henry for a moment. The boy's arm was shattered. The Knight first went to inspect the item in the small bag. He pulled it out and it pulsated with an unnatural power. The Knight smiled, his eyes glimmering in the torchlight. His smile faded almost as quickly as it came and he turned to Henry.
"You will be rewarded for your service Henry." He said in a voice that could barely mask the happiness he felt. He pulled a vial of black liquid from his cloak and he took three steps until he stood at Henry's side. He opened the vial and handed it to the boy. "Drink it, it should help with the pain, and speed up the healing process."
For a few minutes the room fell silent, the only sounds were the booming of thunder and the sound of icy rain hammering on the roof of the warehouse. He Knight's quiet voice broke the silence, "Be happy Henry, there is but one piece of the puzzle left. The first two are on the table, and the last one should be arriving shortly."

The Dark Knight threw the door to the abandoned warehouse open with a bang. He was dripping wet, and lightning streaked across the sky behind him causing his armor to glisten with a spectral light for a brief second. He lit a torch and hung it over the table in the center of the room.
With a grunt, the coffin he had brought with him from the graveyard was hefted onto the table and torn open with a crowbar. Noxious fumes escaped that would have turned a weaker man's stomach, but the Knight simply grimaced and held the torch closer to examine the remains within.
The clothes were most definitely belonging to the man he was searching for, which was good because the body had rotted beyond any recognition. Small bits of flesh clung stubbornly to weathered bone, but the skeletal eyeless face that stared back was unrecognizable. From looking at the bones the Knight could see numerous healed breaks including seven fingers, six toes, one lower leg, one ankle, and all but one rib. This was him, this body could only belong to him, no other man the Knight knew had ever sustained so many injuries and lived.
Placing the torch back into its holder he pulled several jars full of strange arcane items out of a chest, along with a mortar and pestle and a leather bound tome. He opened the book and began grinding ingredients together. He painstakingly coated each inch of bone with the coarse liquid that was produced and began to chant. Booming thunder and blinding lightning filled the sky outside as the wind howled. Soon, the bones were covered with muscle, and the Knight began the process again.
The next mixture put skin on the newly created muscle, he hoped that he did the spell perfectly, otherwise it would not turn out right. If it had failed all had been for nothing, he felt that he had no energy left. Attempting to cast a simple charm at this point would put him out. He held the torch to the face of the naked body lying on the hard wooden table. It was perfect, even the scar.
The Knight grinned to himself and put clothes on the naked man and sat in a chair, waiting for the other two to come. He was nearly giddy with anticipation but he held his emotions in check with some effort. It was hard to contain himself. By sunrise, Dante Grixis would be back among the living.

I've been gone for forever! First it was because of school, then a new job, and now it's computer problems. I think I'm getting a new computer for Christmas though so hopefully I can be active again. I just wanted to let you all know I haven't forgotten about you.

"I can't teach you to do that, but you could help me with the next one." He said with a grin and took her by the hand. "Now my beautiful assistant will hold this target" He placed a target in her hand the size of a small dinner plate, and whispered into her ear, "Don't move a muscle." He took several paces back and pulled a throwing dagger out of his belt. "Now this is no trick, just years of practice. Don't blink!" He said with a wide smile as he cocked his arm back and let the dagger fly from his hand. It spun through the air, end over end, until it slammed into the target Katlyn was holding, just inches from her hand.

The Knight smiled as a crowd gathered. After a moment he said "Don't try this one, you'll hurt yourself." He grinned as he pulled a metal rod with a piece of cloth dipped in oil wrapped around the end. He held his hand close to it and snapped his fingers, causing the oil to ignite. He held the flame at arms length and tilted his head back. He slowly brought the flame closer to his open mouth until the burning rag was behind his teeth, then he closed his lips around it. He slowly pulled the extinguished torch from his mouth and bowed.
He held his breath and held a finger up to the crowd, indicating that this was not the last part of his trick. He inhaled through his nose and opened his mouth, and exhaled. A flame about a foot long flew forth from his mouth, which he used to relight the torch.
"How's that?" He said and bowed, "Care to see another?" He asked the crowd while looking at a teenage girl that had appeared to watch his last trick.

The Dark Knight was unrecognizable in his peasant clothes and the mask he wore that covered all but his mouth. Strangest of all he was smiling. He was entertaining children, and he did have a soft spot for children. That and the large amount of alcohol in his system.
"Watch carefully now children!" He said in an excited voice. He rubbed his hands together which formed a spark, and he blew on it causing a tower of flame to erupt from his mouth. He held it for a few seconds before stopping and bowing to the excited, clapping children. He produced an apple from thin air and handed it to a little girl and smiled brightly as she ran off into a crowd of people.
"Come see the man that can swallow flame!" He called to the crowd, waiting for enough people to appear to begin his act.

"That ring you have holds a special power. It grants the wearer darkvision. Even in the darkest places of the world, you well as on a starry night. You'll need it where you're going." He replied, standing up. "And no, I cannot accompany you, I have other matters to attend to." He said, not offering any further explanation. His journey would lead him to a graveyard, then into ancient tomes. It was a nessicary work. "Good luck Henry. Do not fail me." He said as he waved a hand which opened the door behind Henry.

The Knight remained stoic and replied "Good." He was quiet for a moment, thinking of what his next step should be. "After you have spoken to your leaders, come find me in the slums of Camelot. There is an alleyway behind a small cottage, and there is a small hole in the left wall of the alley. Go there and follow the stairs down. The guards will be expecting you and will show you to my office. Then we can discuss the terms of your enlistment." He said and reached into the fold of his cloak and pulled a dagger in a jeweled sheath out of them. "For now I give you the rank of recruit. Show me that you are worthy and you will progress." He said and handed the weapon to her.
"Don't disappoint me Nimiane. It would be a shame to find that my faith in you has been misplaced." He said. For once his words were not threatening, they were just what they sounded like.

The Dark Knight nodded. "I do know what it is like to be hunted at every turn, having to constantly watch my back to avoid capture. I am the most wanted man within the walls of Camelot. The crown would like nothing more than to have my head on a silver platter." He said. He continued, "I have a proposition for you, work for me and I will teach you to defend your people. You have a natural skill with magic and murder, this much is apparent. But wouldn't you like to be able to master those skills, turn them into an art form?" He asked, he snapped his fingers creating a small flame.
He blew on it and it became a larger flame that formed into a phoenix, which quickly flew away and dissipated. "With the powers that I could teach you, your people will never have to fear the shackles, blades, or fires of Camelot again.
"The Brotherhood needs people like you. And your people may just need the Brotherhood. Not only would you have the ability to protect the Druids, but the entire Brotherhood would be at your side." He said, a small bit of emotion slipping through his barren voice. It was a voice that seemed to entreat her help, but as soon as it came, it was gone again. "So what do you say Nimiane?"

The Knight looked at Henry, emotionless as usual save for the glint in his eye that hinted at excitement. "That's the difficult part. This artifact has been lost through time. But I believe that I've found its location. This mark is the location of an ancient, abandoned cavern. According to legend a cult used to practice here, and they used the artifact in their ceremonies. It should still be down there. This is the location of the entrance, but the chamber is probably much deeper in." He said and pulled another map from under the first one.
This map detailed known cave systems surrounding Camelot. He drew another circle on the map, "I believe the chamber to be here. Be careful though, it is entirely likely that it is still guarded by either magic or some abyssal beast." He said as he rolled up the maps and handed them to Henry.
"And you'll need this." He said and tossed a small silver ring to Henry.

The Knight chuckled evilly. "You won't go anywhere until I say you can go." He said simply. He continued, explaining his reasoning, "You see, if the word get around that a druid has been murdering Camelot's citizens you won't have the chance to even leave your village. The whole place will be burned down in a few days. And every man woman and child will be hunted down like dogs and their body's will hang in the gallows until even the carrion eaters don't want anything to do with them. Because, Nimiane, the good people of Camelot hate druids, almost as much as they hate me."
He took a small step towards her, "So, care to listen to what I have to say now?" He knew his words would anger her, but perhaps she would realize that it was the truth and she would keep her emotions in check.

The Knight had been following Nimiane for days, watching her every move. He had failed to appear at the meeting they had agreed on, and he was mildly annoyed by that fact. He decided that he would just meet her, but he had to wait for the right moment. He had to have something to use against her, to put the meeting on his terms. Now he had just the blackmail he needed. He watched silently, from a distance as she murdered the man by the river and tossed the body in. He waved his hand in front of him and a portal opened, it looked like a doorway made of swirling shadow. He stepped in.
Another one opened a small distance behind Nimiane and The Knight stepped out of it, the portal dissipating once he had exited. "I don't like being stood up." He said, announcing his presence in a menacing voice.
