A much better post. This one shows that Dante still needs to work on his skills if he wants to make it to Black Brother status. You may now add "Black Page" to your signature.

The Dark Knight was pleased with Dante's first mission. It had allowed him to get a feel for the type of assassin he could be. "A good first training session. I suggest in your next, you practice with a wide array of weapons in the arena here" Please be aware that while this is a very good post, it is going to be hard to show improvement as everything Dante did was perfect. Perhaps in your next post you could show Dantes imperfections and he could work on this throughout his training You may now add "Black Soldier" to your signature.

The Black Knight looked Dante Grixis up and down, the boy looked as though he might be of use in The Brotherhood, although he knew better than to judge a book by its cover. "Accepted." He said solemnly, "You may begin training when you wish."
Please remember that you must show improvement through your posts.

Welcome member! Congratulations on being accepted into The Brotherhood!Training sessions occur right here, in the training board. On your first training session, you may create a thread simply called' [insert character's name here]' Training'. Here, you will post all of your training sessions and I will post my feedback. In the training sessions, you must write a post to a certain minimum wordcount. (Remember to include me in your posts!) For example, in a training post, you might write about shooting at targets, you might then write "The Black Knight looked on and grimaced". For this part it is ok to RP as me!! Just make sure you convey a gradual improvement in your abilities. You may include NPC's in your training too. I will reply to your training post either accepting it, or denying it. Reasons for denying it include: being more than 10% under the wordcount, very poor grammar/spelling, plagiarism of a fellow magicians training ideas etc.) Please wait for one post to be accepted before posting another. Ranks and Word Counts (Ranks, once achieved may be added to your signature) Title/Task Black Recruit: Enrollment accepted Black Soldier: One post 250 words Black Page: One post 500 words Black Squire: One post 650 words Black Master: One post 800 words
Black Brother: - 1000 word post.
(Black Brother is the highest possible rank in the Brothehood. The equivalent to the Enchanters of the Guild and Knights of the Army.)
All wordcounts are minimum, more would be great!

Here is where you can request to join the ArmyThe Brotherhood. To do so, you simply must post a reply to this thread stating your name, which Dark Skill you wish to train in and why, and describe your weapon [if you have one, otherwise these will be given out once accepted]. I will respond telling you whether or not your application to join is accepted, instructions about what to do next can be found in the training information boards.

Example Training Post
[titles and characters will differ to those you will use]
Post for Trainee Robin hopped the fence at the edge of the training grounds and sprinted to the middle of the field. Commander Morland was already there, standing patiently, and Robin sprinted over-worried he may have been late.
“Sorry sir!” He apologised to his superior [terrified he would be scolded], and saluted him. The commander smiled and held out a hand. “Ah, you are not late, I merely like to be early. May I see your blade boy?” Robin nodded and unsheathed his dull blade-slightly embarrassed. It was nothing spectacular, he knew that, but because his old friend Saria had made the sheath, he couldn’t bear to part with it. The commander muttered something and handed it back to Robin. “Lad, if you want to go far in this division, your blade needs to be much stronger and impressive. This is…quaint, but not what the Order of the Lionesses requires. Although it will do for now, see that before our next session a real sword has been obtained. I suggest a longsword rather than a broadsword such as this.”
After Morland had crushed his pride a little, Robin felt he needed to impress his commander and completed his lap of the training grounds as fast as he could. When he reached the finish though, he was out of breath and dropped down on the ground for a rest. “You will never get anywhere like this!” A voice called to him and before Robin knew what was happening, he was pulled onto his feet. “You have to learn some discipline boy!” Robin nodded, eager to impress and prove his worth. “I…just…” he heaved but received nothing but a disapproving look from Morland.
“Now we will learn the basics of sword play” Robin was told firmly. “Draw your blade.” Robin followed orders and began to spar with Morland. At first he was able to keep up, blocking hits and even bringing a few different foot patterns in order to dodge his blows. However, as Commander Morland upped his game, Robin dramatically started to lack the skill he needed and eventually he was reduced to the ground.
“Well boy” Commander Morland finally gave his sword arm a rest and allowed Robin to relax too. “I am fairly…disappointed.” Robins face dropped, he had been so keen to impress his new commander and yet he had left him disappointed. “Sorry sir” Robin muttered, his pride so hurt he felt he would burst into tears, “I tried my hardest…” “Yes boy, I know. To be perfectly honest it is not your skill I am disappointed in as you were not bad for a beginner, but it is the fact that you assured me you were already a competent swordsman. Perhaps I expected too much…” Robin dropped his gaze to the floor, red faced. “Sir, I apologise for my error. I believed I was better than this. I want to be…” When Robin looked up he was astonished to see that his commander was smiling. “Do not worry Smolkes, you have done not badly, perhaps I was a little harsh. Just be sure to get practicing and buy a new weapon! I shall see you in 3 days.” Robin nodded smiling once more. “Yes, of course sir!” he grinned and picking up his sword, left Commander Morland beaming by himself.
Thanks to Cesitria for the use of this post

Brotherhood training works similar to that of the Magicians Guild and Army. Through making a series of posts, increasing in length, your character becomes more skilled and powerful in their chosen Dark Skill, and this is reflected through the titles awarded at each stage. To Train in The Brotherhood:1) Your character must possess an interest or skill in a Dark SKill (such as assination, thievery, black magic or anything else you wish), but must not be powerful. You do not necessarily have to have stated this in your character application to the site. 2)Firstly you must enrol. To enrol in The Brotherhood, follow the instructions and post in the Recruitment office. Once I have replied confirming your place you may begin training. 3) Training: Traning occurs in the training board. On your first training session, you may create a thread simply called' [insert character's name here]' Training'. Here, you will post all of your training sessions and I will post my feedback. 4)In the training sessions, you must write a post to a certain minimum wordcount. Training will take place under my instruction [therefore your posts must make reference to The Black Knight, including his opinions of you and his feedback during session. For this part you MAY roleplay The Black Knight] Just make sure you convey a gradual improvement in your abilities. You may also include NPC's in your training. [see the example post below for how the army interact with RP Prince Arthur, and obviously use The Black Knight in your training posts instead.]5) I will reply to your training post either accepting it, or denying it. Reasons for denying it include: being more than 10% under the wordcount, very poor grammar/spelling, plagiarism of a fellow Brothers training ideas etc.) Please wait for one post to be accepted before posting another. 6) Ranks and Word Counts (Ranks, once achieved may be added to your signature) Title/Task Black Recruit: Enrollment accepted Black Soldier: One post 250 words Black Page: One post 500 words Black Squire: One post 650 words Black Master: One post 800 words
Black Brother: - 1000 word post.
(Black Brother is the highest possible rank in the Brothehood. The equivalent to the Enchanters of the Guild and Knights of the Army.)
All wordcounts are minimum, more would be great! I hope that makes everything clear, Any questions don't hesistate to PM me (Or the other staff members)

You cannot join the Guild or Army if you join The Brotherhood.
About The Brotherhood
The Brotherhood consists of anyone who is not allied with the Pendragon family, and wishes to oppose them.
The main three occupations within the Brotherhood are Thieves, Assassins, and Black Mages.
In order to be accepted into The Brotherhood, you must first apply in the recruitment office stating whatever Dark Skill you wish to train in. If accepted, you must then head to the training grounds [create your thread] and be willing to train hard in order to rise through the ranks.
When training, you may cover combat aswell as involve mini-missions that are based on your chosen skill (ie Black magic, thievery, assasinations etc). Therefore, thieves may practice with swords and so on. However we ask that you concentrate on whichever Dark Skill you have chosen.
You must also complete one Dark Skill before moving onto the next.
