"Not when you're the most wanted man in Camelot." He replied dryly without looking up. He picked up a pen and made a mark on the map and flipped through the pages of one of the many books on his desk and stopped on one for a moment, looked at the map and made another mark. He waved his hand and a chair slid out from the desk. "Sit." He instructed, still without looking at his visitor. He was almost done, then he would explain what needed to be done.
After another moment of looking through the arcane texts written in alien languages he make a final mark on the map and circled one location, an apparently empty portion of map almost seventy miles from Camelot. He nodded and looked up, and scanning over Henry. "You're a good thief, and a half decent fighter. Since we lost Grixis you're the next best candidate for this mission." He said in a business-like tone of voice.
He picked up the black leather book and held it in front of Henry, showing him the picture of the Pact. "Do you know what this is?" He asked, his voice emotionless. He imagined the boy did not so he continued, "It is an arcane artifact made my God and the Devil themselves, it hold untold power. It was thought to be something of legend, but I know better." He said, his voice rolling like thunder. "The Brotherhood requires this item, and you have been selected to retrieve it." The Knight sat in a chair on the opposite side of the desk, and waved his hand, sending all of the books back to their shelves, save for the map.

The Dark Knight sat behind his large desk, scrolls and books littered it's surface. He was intent on his work, he needed to find what he was looking for among the ancient tomes. He picked up a black leather-bound book written in an ancient, arcane language. He understood the language perfectly though, and he imagined that he was one of the few who could. The language had been lost hundreds of years ago, the strange symbols drawn on the page replaced with a simpler language.
He turned through the pages slowly, carefully, until he came upon what he had been searching for. The book was a collection of powerful ancient artifacts that most believed to exist only in legend, but The Knight knew better. He brought the candle on his desk closer to the page so he could see it more clearly. His office was lit only by two torches on the door that cast strange shadows across the page.
Pictured were two small statues carved from white and black stone. One figurine was of a beautiful archangel, his white feathery wings spread wide. He was holding a burning heart in his right hand, his left gripping a sword pointed at the ground. The other figure was of a terrible demon, his bat-like wings in the exact position of the angel. He was holding the same burning heart in his left hand and an axe, blade down, in his right.
The Knight read the page and nodded to himself. The artifact was called "Heaven and Hell Pact". It was created when God and the Devil made a deal and infused the statues with special powers. He needed both of them to cast the spell he would be using in the near future.
He had called Henry Renold to his office and was waiting for him to arrive. It would be Henry's mission to retrieve the Pact and bring it back to him. The Knight began pouring over maps to figure out it's exact location, using the legend as a reference as he waited for Henry.

The Knight smirked. The boy had balls making a threat like that, he liked that. He knew that Chase would become a valuable asset to his operations. He made a note to make the section of sewer that the boy was using for training vacated by all Brotherhood activity as well as to tall his men to give him wide berth. He didn't need to loose forces needlessly. He watched at the boy left and once he was out of sight the Knight turned and left, back to his office in the slums.

"Few." He said simply. Keleth was the best dark mage they had, and a valuable asset to the Brotherhood. "I have no more questions to ask you." He added. He had the information he sought, the rest he could find out on his own without too much difficulty. He knew that he would see Chase again, and he imagined that perhaps a mutual information exchange had just been opened. Either way, he would have to wait and see.

That was good information the Knight had just received. It was useful and most likely accurate. He listened to Chase's question and responded, "Create a system where the lows are equal to everyone else." He thought about his next question for a moment.
"How much do the Pendragons know about the brotherhood?" He asked. He thought to himself that this would be the last question he asked, he didn't like having to answer Chase's questions.

The Knight was silent for a moment then nodded. "Sounds fair enough to me." He said and thought up a question for the boy. There were several but he needed to keep it just a couple of questions to avoid having to answer too many himself.
Finally he spoke. "How many mages are in the guild?" He asked. He had a general idea, but the Brotherhood would need more specific numbers. Without that information, they wouldn't know what they were up against.

The Knight stood still for a moment looking up at Chase. Then he slowly nodded and teleported himself to stand on the building next to Chase. He looked over the boy for a moment. He was quite powerful for being so young.
"What could you know that I would want?" He asked. He was curious to see the answer. Perhaps he would be lucky and the boy would actually know something of value.

The Knight heard the sound of falling rock and quickly put his hands up. "Icmar te sinon." He muttered and through the power of dark magic the rubble stopped in mid air, suspended just feet from collapsing on him. He growled as he used his energy to change the position of the heavy rubble, and aimed it straight for Chase.
"Atine!" He yelled and the rock and wood became hundreds of projectiles aimed straight for where Chase was levitating. Lets see him dodge this one. The knight thought to himself.

The boy was good, and he knew a wide variety of magic. He would be a valuable asset to the Brotherhood. The Knight decided that first he would have to show Chase the power of dark magic, and what it could do when used by a powerful mage.
He held both his hands, palms up over his head and started a brief chant. Soon all of the shadows in the alleyway grew and the area became darker, and the shadows began to converge into an orb over his hands. After a moment he was holding a ball of dark energy the side of a horse. The threw his hands forward sending the orb straight for Chase. If it connected with him, it would definitely knock him out of the air, if it missed, it would likely knock a hold in the wall behind Chase.

The Knight looked almost scared. Almost. He quickly yelled an arcane word, "Yusefrid!" And held his hands in front of him. A shield of dark energy formed in front of him and the serpent collided with it, and bounced back. It tried a couple more times, loud, deep noises coming off of the magical shield each time.
The Knight quickly let go of his shield and ran behind the serpent and threw an uppercut style punch towards Chase's jaw, if it connected he hoped it would break his concentration enough to cause the watery behemoth to disappear.

The Knight stood ready for whatever spell would be thrown at him next, but he wasn't quite prepared for the whirlwind that formed in the small space. He felt the force of the wind tugging at him and took a step back. He heard the splash from the puddle and looked down. Damn...
He felt the water rush at him and he was thrown upwards and fell onto his back. He growled and shook his head to clear the stars that had just formed in his vision. He stood up and decided to retaliate with an elemental attack of his own. He put both his hands up and flames shot forth, into the whirlwind, causing it to turn into a spinning towering inferno. He quickly produced a strong wind that sent the flaming tower straight for Chase.

The Knight growled and took a running step towards the trident, preparing to bat it aside with his claymore. His eyes widened when it disappeared. The boy was good, he had to give him that.
He had no idea where the trident might reappear but he had but one second to do something. He used the momentum of his swinging blade to pull himself downwards and to the left. He pulled his legs in and rolled forward, just as the trident reappeared and went rocketing over his head, right towards Chase. He used his momentum to continue rolling until he was able to leap to his feet and watched the Trident approach it's mark.

"Caldera? So you're the guild's problem child?" He said with a smirk. He had heard about Chase's dark side, and his infuriating ways. He actually had wanted to meet this boy. He had potential.
When he watched the trident form in Chase's hand he smirked and raised his eyebrows. "Oh, so you want to play?" He quickly extended his hand and a ball of energy blasted forth, enough force with it to crack ribs if it connected, and most likely enough to break Chase's concentration enough that the weapon he had conjured would dissipate.

The Knight snickered and scowled. "I have business with a Mage's Guild member who is walking around the slums, disappearing into the sewers for unknown reasons. Now I expect you to tell me who you are and what the hell it is you're doing here." He said, his voice like rolling thunder. He took a step towards Chase and held an open right hand out, and snapped it shut when his claymore appeared in his hand. Simple magic like this was usually good for intimidation, but he wasn't sure that it would work on a mage.
