Casalynn came in from the wet and cold of the outdoors to one of her favourite places in Camelot. She had often loved to spend time in the Ram and was a great place to forget about everything and enjoy yourself over a nice drink. She had also heard the entertainment here was great to listen to, so that was one of her sole purposes for being there. Casalynn had only been to the Ram once before and she decided that coming again was a good idea.
She was welcomed by the strong smell of musk and the warm glow of lights as well as the loud noise of men and women loudly conversing. A small smile appeared on her face as she entered, her eyes scanning the room for a place to sit. Her dark green cloak was dripping wet from the rain and her hair hung messily on her head. In an attempt to dry herself she shook her head from side to side managing to wet the people sitting on the other side of the room.
After getting a drink, she sat alone waiting for the entertainment to kick off. She had been looking forward to this all day, after managing to surpress 'permission' from her guardian to let her go out. This was a rare occasion and she was determined to enjoy herself after all she had no idea when he would let her out again. Her guardian was the over-protective type, who liked to be in control at all times and didn't like to be challenged. Something she had to pluck up a lot of courage to do.
Casalynn sipped her drink elegantly, lowering the hood of her cloak to get a better view of her surroundings. Waiting patiently for the entertainment to begin.

Dreamer was in the back room talking to the owner. Dreamer didn't know why, he was early to his first day. Instead of being able to go out and enjoy the atmosphere, he was stuck in the back with his employer. The man was on a rant, switching between discussing what his job entitled and the soul of responsibility.
By the end of it Dreamer was ten minutes late at being on set, and his employer was mad at him. "Get out there Boy!" he screamed,"I'm trying to run a business here". Dreamer didn't need to be told twice, he was out that door before the owner could say another word.
Dreamer looked around the crowd of people and saw a few familiar faces, and alot of new ones. It seemed word got around that there was a new musician at the Ram. That only made Dreamer even more nervous as he approached the stage. Climbing up, Dreamer put down a sack he held and withdrew his violin and bow.
Walking forward, he looked out upon the crowd staring at him. He placed the bow to the strings of the violin and began to play. He played a slow song today, drawing the crowd in deeper into the music. It wasn't long before Dreamer himself had his eyes closed and was lost in the music.
He played out his emotions, specifically the calming sort. The Ram was not often a place where one settled down, so Dreamer put in effort to make that change. He expresses his emotions of peace, of love, of just being.
When he was finished he let his last note carry until it died. Then he smiled to the crowd, waiting for a reply.

Casalynn listened intently to the musician playing his music. She found his songs beautiful. It was easy to tell he played from the heart which was quite unusual to find and the song he was playing was, she found, incredibly soothing. She know knew why the word had spread about this musician and somehow she found herself quite amazed. She initially had not known how good he was but now she did she was sure to make this rare trip to the Ram a lot more frequent.
She clapped as everyone else did when he had finished playing and stood up to show her gratitude towards him. It seemed not only her had enjoyed listening to him and the whole pub seemed to be filled with cheers and laughter. Smiling as she finished off her drink, Casalynn decided to buy another one before returning home. She scooped up her empty glass and headed towards the bar to order another drink.
On her way to the bar Casalynn walked over to the man deciding to let him know how good she thought he was; drinks could wait. She removed her cloak from under her feet so she would not trip and fall like she had done so many times before. She smiled warmly at him before walking over.
"Wow, your very good. Seems everyone else here thinks so too. I'm Casalynn by the way" Speaking smoothly and clearly, she only just managed to speak over the loud clapping coming from the crowds of appreciative people who had come to see him play.

Dreamer blushed, as he had the previous day, and departed from the stage. The applause seemed to last longer than the day before, which only made dreamer blush deeper. He was able to maintain the red in his cheeks by the time he arrived at the bar and ordered a drink.
Then he was caught off guard
A woman approached and congradulated him, and for a moment Dreamer was just stunned. She had wild brown curly hair that hung down behind her ears. Her eyes were strikingly blue, and Dreamer found it hard looking away. He dared not look any farther down her figure, so as to not be rude or scare her away.
Dreamer snapped back to attention when the bartender planted his mug beside him loudly, and Dreamer was forced to jump. Dreamer looked at the bartender, who winked at him and indicated to a second ale beside his. Dreamer blushed red and looked back at the girl.
"Pleased to meet you" he said quickly, "Im Dreamer". Dreamer stood there for a moment, like an idiot, before indicating to the drinks and offered, "Do you want a drink?"

"Sure" Casalynn smiled politely at his offer of a drink and retrieved it from the bar man. She sipped at it slowly and took in the atmosphere around her, thinking this would probably be the last time she would be allowed out for days. Casalynn decided to make the most of it and stay for one more drink before returning back to face the consequences of being late home, again. She enjoyed the company here unlike at home where she spent most of her time alone in her bedroom as this is often what her Guardia told her to do. Casalynn’s shining chestnut brown hair reached low behind her back, dangling and swaying everytime she moved. She often liked to wear her hair in curls, but on her lazy days she would often leave it straight, but today she had kept it curly. Her hair had a certain neat and kempt look to it, but that was the way it always looked. Even if she hadn’t brushed it all day. "So, how long have you been in Camelot? Do you live here or do you travel to different places to play your music?" Casalynn asked with interest, sipping elegantly at her drink whilst waiting for his reply. Dreamer watched as Casalynn sipped at her drink, then turned away to retrieve his. Since the night before, the bartender Smith had been trying to work on Dreamer's ability to drink strong alcohol. Ability was more of an exaggeration, because he simply had none. He sipped at the drink, felt it in his throat, and silently choked it down.
Having taking his first, and hopefully only, sip of the strong ale he turned to the bartender. Dreamer could see the man was busy, and yet was still looking at their way. When Dreamer gave a slight glare, the man chuckled and turned his head to continue assisting the customers.
Dreamer shook his head and placed the drink on the bar to be forgotten.
"So, how long have you been in Camelot? Do you live here or do you travel to different places to play your music?"
Dreamer nodded, "Ive been here since yesterday, i use to travel and do many things with my caravan". Dreamer still felt the pinch of regret and longing when mentioning his old family. It hurt, but he hoped that it would get better over time. Dreamer waited for Casalynn to ask more questions.

"Wow" Casalynn expressed with a large smile. He had only been in Camelot for a day or two and that suprised her. She had imagined that he would live here but her thoughts had been proven wrong. It made her wonder how long he would be staying and even if she would ever see him playing again in Camelot.
Casalynn took a small sip of her drink before returning it to the table and thinking of other questions that she could ask him. He somewhat intrigued her, as she had never met a musician before so possible questons were never ending.
Casalynn glanced up at him, first releazing how very unique he looked. She gazed into his eyes, noticing that, oddly, they were both different colours. One was more of a golden colour and the other was a light shade of blue. She found it difficult to take her eyes off his as this wasn't something you saw everyday. She dropped her eyes to her feet, raising them again to try and keep them from drifting.
"How long have you been travelling? It must be wonderful, going to all different places. Only something some of us could dream off" She said with a small smile.
She envied him. He had the opportunity to go wherever he wanted, stay wherever he pleased and not be nagged about how late he was going to be home. She could only dream of such a life and it was something that seemed so hard to achieve.

Dreamer noticed Casalynn staring at him and stared back at her puzzled until he remembered his eye. As she turned her head, he turned his and moved his hair to cover it. Dreamer was growing slightly insecure about his difference because of how new the area still was to him. He didn't want to seem to different, he wanted to be accepted.
"I was born into the caravan and traveled with them my whole life, until recently that is" He answered. Dreamer looked at the ale across from him and wondered if he should try and take a sip to relax. He took a moment before deciding against it and looking back at Casalynn.
"What are your Dreams?" Dreamer asked. It was an odd question, but he didn't feel it was. She had mentioned Dreams, and he was now curious of what her's were. It was that simple, that is unless she refused to answer. Then he would be forced to pick at it until he found out.

Casalynn was slightly perplexed by his question. Dreams. She had never really thought about her dreams before and was something that had never occured to her. She had always lived one day at a time and thinking ahead and about the future seemed too far away to worry herself over. Casalynn had found thinking about dreams and planning things in advance always ended in heartbreak or disappointment so she didn't do it anymore. Dreams always seemed so out of reach for her.
"What are your Dreams?"
"I suppose I don't really have any dreams." Casalynn expressed, still scanning her brain for something that she had always dreamed of persuing. One thing she had always wanted to do was track her family down - find out if they were dead or alive. She was unsure as to who they were so this seemed something that was impossible. Even if she had a family at all was questionable.
After breaking herself out of her thoughts she looked back up at Dreamer. She choked back the emotion she was feeling and steadied herself on asking Dreamer more about himself. It always upset her slightly whenever she tried to think about her past. Her last memory of life was waking up in the middle of Camelot with nothing but her clothes and a useless peice of paper. Not much to go on when you're trying to figure out what sort of a person you are.
"How are you liking Camelot so far? I've not been here so long myself" Casalynn said with a sympathetic smile. She knew what it was like to try and get used to a place where you had no friends and no family. And she deffinatly knew how difficult it was to try and fit in when everything seemed to bewildering and new.

Dreamer couldn't help opening his mouth in shock. Dreamer couldn't even comprehend the thought of having no Dreams. A life with nothing to hope for, to work for, seemed like a life of little purpose. Dreamer was still puzzled at that but smiled and said, "Well make you some Dreams then".
He listened some more to her questions, changing the subject back to him, and let smile widen. Dreamer was exilerated with Camelot and all its occupants. "Its wonderful, I've already made two friends, and playing here has been wonderful, and i was accepted into the Guild my first shot, its all been Wonderful" He said in a rush. Dreamer was so happy with the last two days events, he didn't even notice he had told her about joining the Magic Guild.

It took Casalynn a while to take in what he had just said. By the speed in which he had spoken it took her a while to catch up; she almost missed what he had said about the Guild. She was't sure whether she had just imagined what he had said, or whether in fact he had joined the Magic guild. It was several seconds before she replied; her face expressionless. He was magic too and she found it hard to contain her excitement.
She didn't quite know how to take to the information he had just told her; she had waited a long time to find someone with the same gifts as her and now she had. She gasped slightly in shock. "You've joined the guild?" She repeated what he had said in order to re-confirm that he had said it.
She knew this would probably be a secret that he would want to keep to himself and she was sure not to tell anyone. Casalynn was the sort of person to be trusted with anything and no matter what she wouldn't let the secret go. She had new found respect for this guy she had just met as they were alike in many ways. He had already shared a lot of information about himself yet she had hardly let anything off her chest. Now she was faced with the decision to tell him that or not that she also held magical abilities too. For now she decided to keep onto her secret; maybe the opportunity would arise later on after all she did not know him all that well yet.

For a few moments, Dreamer enjoyed the comfortable silence shared between them. He listened to the sounds of The Ram's occupants as they went about there day. He still hadn't realized he'd made a mistake and given away his secret, until Casalynn spoke those four fatal words.
"You've joined the guild?"
Dreamer was in the act of calling the waiter over to order some milk when he heard her. For a moment his mind didn't register what she said. When it did, he closed his eyes and let his hand fall slowly down. He had to think for a moment, his head still turned away.
When he did turn to face her again, his eyes were open and he was smiling. "Guild? what guild are you talking about?" It was his worst attempt at lying ever, but he was still good at it. He was still rusty, but years ago he used to be very good and tricking people. Dreamer just hoped that he still held on to his "Gifts", for his sake.

"Guild? what guild are you talking about?"
A confused expression arose on Casalynn's face when he had no idea what she was talking about. She cast her mind back over to what he had said and she realized maybe she had just imagined that he had said it. It took her several long seconds to adjust her mind and she looked back up to Dreamer to read his expression. She had never been that good at telling if people were lying or telling the truth and this situation was no different. She couldn't tell if he was covering up his mistake or if he genuinly had no idea what she was talking about.
"Oh. I thought... you said... Nevermind" Her cheeks flushed a rosy red when she thought of her mistake. Her mind was still buzzing from the thought of him being magic too although she wasn't sure if this was the case. She knew that if she had let her secret slip like that to someone she had just met then she would have tried to cover it up. She focused on asking him more questions about himself as he didn't seem to mind, she was determined to get the answer from him in some shape or form about the guild she was sure he had mentioned.
"I used to know someone in the magician's guild. She was one of my best friends. She let the power go to her head and thought she was pretty much invincible... she was hanged in the end" Casalynn said thinking if she got onto the topic of the guild then that would force another outburst. Her story wasn't exactly true and she had always been good at making things up on the spot. "Don't suppose you've heard of the Magicians guild?" She said casually throwing it into the conversation.

Dreamer didn't realize he stopped breathing until he started to feel the burning in his throat. He opened his mouth and air rushed in to fill his lungs. He turned his head and began to cough into his arm, his eyes still wide open in fear. Hanging! It was exactly what Dreamer feared going threw, being punished for what he could do.
Dreamer knew there must have been a difference between and Casalynn's friend, there must be. She was power hungry and believed herself to be invincible, all he ever did was heal. Dreamer wondered if it really mattered, magic was magic in the eyes if the fearing.
Dreamer turned back and started to talk again, "Why, yes i believe i have" Dreamer indicated to the room,"You hear alot of things here". Dreamer took a moment before he said, "You can also never be to sure of who's listening as well".

Casalynn had not thought of people possibly eavesdropping. She took a cautious look around the room and noticed several people sitting near to them seemed to be interesting in their conversation. She also noticed the barman casually looking over in their direction every once in a while. Casalynn suddenly became very aware and conscious of what she was saying and nodded in agreement to what Dreamer had said. It made her glad now that she had not blurted out her secret as she never knew who could be listening.
"Point taken" Casalynn said in a hushed voice, again looking at her surroundings to see if anyone was trying to listen in. Moving on from the topic seemed to be the best course of action; maybe the moment would arise later for her to ask him about the magicians guild. She could feel herself warming up to this man already as he was very easy to talk to. She also found him quite intrigueing.
Casalynn reached for her glass that she had nearly finished. She gulped down the last few mouthfuls and placed it quietly back on to the table. She was faced with the decision to take off early or have another drink and for her it didn't take too much to decide. She was enjoying herself too much to leave right now.
"Should we stay for one more drink or would you like to go elsewhere?" She asked happily, steadying herself for him to say that he was fairly busy and needed to go; that was normally how her evenings ended. She wondered if he fancied a walk somewhere as it would give them a chance to talk without any prying eyes yet somehow she couldn't quite muster up the courage to ask him.
