Keleth had entered the Forest of Balor to maybe find some thing regarding his past as a druid, or maybe his home, or if his family was still alive. A path that went deeper into the forest told him should take that path but anything could be out their waiting for Keleth. Was he prepared enough to face what it is thats deep inside these forests. Keleth stared at the ground and then up at the forest still deciding if he should move on into the forest.

Chase was in the forest manipulating the darkness of the shadows into weapons. At the moment he was controlling several swords of darkness and trying to keep control of all of them while having them cut up the branches around the dark clearing.
Chase paused for a moment to take a breath. He had been training constantly for days ever since his tie in his fight with Dreamer. He had decided that the thing he needed to work on was his control. It was the only thing Dreamer was better than him in. As such he had been training constantly in his sewer hideout. Unfortunately his constant going into the sewers had drawn attention so he had decided to train in the forest for the next couple of days.

Keleth finally decided to walk the path that lead deeper into the forest. Maybe he will find something, maybe he will just find nothing about his past. Smiling he shook his head and kept walking. Keleth had basic magic skills though it wasn't enough it was only basic skills that were taught to 10 year olds. Though the strange thing is through his years in the slums he found himself wanting to use dark magic and become a dark mage and join the brotherhood. All he was waiting for was his approval into the brotherhood. As Keleth walked he took out a scroll he stole in a shop of scrolls and book. It was fate for Keleth to learn black magic for this school was the essence of dark magic. The starting point of dark magic.
Keleth saw an opening on the road where it curved a path toward a small river bank. Walking down there he opened the scroll to read it further. "Becoming a Dark Mage is one of the toughest magic to master. Your lust power can control you and destroy you." Keleth read and sighed and rolled the scroll back up and placed it in his pocket. Keleth heard some noises coming just behind him, but he couldn't identify the noises. Almost felt as if branches were being chopped but he couldn't hear anything else from a weapon. Turning around he walked a few feet from behind him and saw a young male taking a moment to breath. "You weren't so happen to be chopping wood would you?" Keleth asked the question he heard from down by the river in the forest.

Chase spun around at the sound of a man's voice asking him if he had been the one chopping wood. Chase wondered how long the man had been there. He couldn't have been there to long if he was asking about who was chopping the wood but he might have been there long enough to have seen some of Chase's magic.
Chase hoped he hadn't. People were so annoying once they realized he was a mage always wanting to him to do something for them. If they didn't want him to save their pet from a tree then they thought he could resurrect their lover from the grave. It infuriated him. Didn't they realize just how strong he was? The amount of power he wielded? Why couldn't they just fear him and give him his space like the other mages did.
Chase ignored the man's question since the man had probably already seen the piles of branches that he had cut down from the trees. "Who are you and what do you want" Chase said in his most unfriendly tone. Hopefully the man would take the hint and leave.

Keleth just asked a simple question and this boy seemed to almost blow up and asked him who he was and what he wanted. He certainly wasn't going to leave because he had a reason to be out here. If only he had learn enough magic when he was little he would be able to show this boy his place he thought. Smiling back at the boy, he stayed calm and walked toward the boy who seemed that he didn't want any company due to his tone. "My name is Keleth Silverkin. It is not any of your business to question me so harshly. Learn to respect others and maybe they will respect you in return. But seeing how im a nice person, you can apolgize to me and I will forget all about your attiude toward me and we can start anew. Keleth said with his charming smile toward the boy with all calmness through out his tone toward him. Which he didn't quite catch his name which he would ask him next.

Chase wondered at the man's words. The man expected Chase to apologize! And for what? Because Chase hadn't been welcoming when the man had interrupted his training? What did the man expect?
"You want me to apologize. Then sure, sorry for not being more polite when you barged in here asking questions about what I was doing." Chase said in his most politically correct tone. He continued on saying "I am Chase Caldera Mage of the guild. Be careful how you tread around me." Chase hoped the man would be scared enough to leave him alone now.

Keleth was surprised to see this boy do what he said to do, and he also would do the same and start a new with him after he apologized. Raising his hand to shake Chase's after he had introduced himself. A bit of interests flocked Keleth eye as he heard Chase speak of the words of being a mage of the guild. With a smile on Keleth's face he ignored the smart remarks of this boy and began to speak, "Well nice to meet you Chase. A mage huh? You wouldn't happen to know a few tricks about dark magic would you?" Keleth asked very suspiciously toward chase wondering if he could get a few helpful hints or knowledge of the magic before he gets trained.

Chase smiled as Keleth asked him whether he knew any tricks. What a perfect time to test out some of his skills. And if he also managed to freak out Keleth than all the better.
"You asked for a demonstration? Okay I'll give you one." Chase said in a voice that while perfectly polite threatened slightly. "Cleddyfau tywyll coes fy wrthwynebydd" He chanted as several dark swords rose out of the shadows of the clearing. They started to move in a complex dance all around Keleth only inches from his skin. Chase considered letting one of the swords cut him but decided against it. After all the man should be scared enough without having to get hurt.

Keleth gave a smile as he saw a demonstration of dark magic. The darkness rose behind him almost taunting him. He didn't move at all, one might be scared to see a demonstration that was brought on them. As much to show off this kid his skill, he couldn't because he didn't have enough skill. But something flashed into his mind, the scroll he read. There was a spell of summoning a dark phoenix, wondering if he could use the darkness around him to summon a phoenix that was in the scroll. Showing no sign up idea he began to concentrate on himself and the basic magic he was taught while a kid. Closing his eyes he could feel the swords getting closer taunting him even more, all Keleth had to do was focus hard enough and say the right words and it might work, it just might he thought it was worth a shot. "Darkness surrounds me, summon this beast with she, make her fly, I summon the!" Keleth spoke the words that he remembered on the scroll hoping it would work, if not well he would look like a fool just thinkin he knows magic.
keleth could feel the energy around him becoming stronger and soon he could feel the burning sensation of pure darkness rising through his veins. Focusing on the words that were spoken his eyes soon changed all black and the swords around him of darkness went straight toward him but right when they went toward him they collided upwards. A pulse of energy blasted everywhere, about a good mile radius. Keleth from the blast stood tall as he could fell the creature being made from the swords. Up in the sky a creature was made a pure black phoenix shinning with might. Though with seconds later it hit the ground and exploded creating a small shake around Keleth and Chase. Keleth's eyes went to normal but he soon fainted onto the ground.

Chase watched impressed as Keleth managed to summon a dark phoenix. It was quite a difficult spell. Chase had read about it but had never had time to learn it. Although his acidic snake was probably even more powerful so it didn't matter. Still it looked like Chase had misjudged Keleth the teen had some potential. True he had collapsed immediately after finishing his spell but that was too be expected. Few people had as much power as him and Dreamer.
Chase leaned against a tree watching the sun go down as he waited for Keleth to wake up. Then he would learn just what Keleth knew of magic and how he had learned it.

It had seemed Keleth was out for a few hours as he slowly opened his eyes to see the sun was going down. As he felt his body ache he got up from the ground to see Chase was leaned up against a tree. "My head hurts.....I didn't hurt you did I?" He spoke as he rubbed his head and looked at Chase hoping he didn't hurt him. Keleth had felt a little joyful to know that he had produced a spell but knew it was a very dangerous spell that could have turn on him.

Chase sat in the clearing practising various spells as he waited for Keleth to wake up. After approximately an hour Keleth started stirring as if he was waking up. Finally Keleth looked around the clearing asking Chase if he had been hurt. Chase almost laughed at that. He replied, "Don't worry you may have a lot of potential but it will be years before you can hurt me. However I do have one question. Who taught you black magic? There is no way you could have used that spell without having some tutoring so don't even bother trying to lie. "
Chase watched Keleth carefully for his answer. He was genuinely interested in how the teen had learned magic. He definitely wasn't a part of the guild so who had taught him. Chase continued examining the teen for any signs of lying about where he had learned.

Keleth had no shot of coming up with a lie but then he could make something up that is partly true to his word. It wasn't lying Keleth thought to himself because he was just telling part of the truth about his magic. "I learned basic magic when I was a kid. I would be known as a druid. I would over hear my elders talking about dark magic which had got me very interested in the subject. I thought maybe I could pull it off but It seems I didn't." Keleth spoke the tale of when he was a kid but hoping his made up story about the elders would work on him. Keleth just smiled and waited for a response from Chase, "What about you? Who taught you?" keleth responded with a last minute question hoping Chase wouldn't over examine him about his story about having magic.
Though if this boy didn't believe him, Keleth didn't know what to do because he didn't want to show him the scroll for Chase could easily knock him out and steal the scroll from him. Keleth is hoping he could play it safe a little bit longer.

Chase felt that something was off with Keleth's explanation. It didn't make sense that as a kid he had just happened to overhear some elders talking about dark magic and just happen to remember a spell right now. At the very least Keleth had to have trained to have been able to caste the spell even if it did fail.
"Your lying" Chase said in a voice that brooked no argument. "I hate being lyed to please tell me the truth. Now!" Chase purposely didn't say how he knew Keleth was lying. It would probably appear that Chase had some sort of magic to to tell if Keleth was lying. The teen wouldn't dare to try to lie again. "And I learned my magic from the guild of course its the best place to learn magic." Chase said in response to Keleths inquiry. He waited for Keleth to respond to his accusation and question.

Taking a big long sigh he looked at chase, "Fine, but the part of me being a druid is true. I learned basic magic as a kid. But I found a scroll from a shop about dark magic and thought i give it a try." He spoke to Chase with a half smile on his face. Though Keleth did'nt say he had the scroll on him he just told chase found a scroll so maybe he wouldn't have to bring it out to prove to this kid. The guild was where everyone learned there magic but certain people could learn it from being in the brotherhood he thought.
(this is before he is accepted into the guild...or we can make it seem he was already accepted and had some traning....i would just have to modfiy the begining of his thoughts about the brotherhood)
