Chase felt confident that Keleth was telling the truth this time. At the very least this was the most that Chase would be able to get out of him. Chase wondered what to do next. Obviously he wanted to recruit Keleth to his side against Dreamer but was unsure of how to bring it up.
Chase decided to ask Keleth what his plans for the future were. Maybe that would lead into a discussion of the guild and its people. "So are you planing on continuing to learn magic? Through the guild or just trying to learn spells on your own? Which I know is technically illegal but everyone does it. Who are you and what is your job anyways?" Chase wanted to learn as much about Keleth as he could so that he would be able to judge whether the teen could be of use to him.

Keleth doesn't know if he could trust this Chase character he was told never to bring up the fact about the dark brotherhood to anyone that are not in the slums. Thinking he decided what the heck might as well tell him, he is the closest to a friend he has so might as well, "My plans, well im trying to figure out of this Dark Brotherhood is really real, and if so I would like to join them. But its just rumors down in the slums. I would like to learn more about dark magic but I wouldn't be going into the guild. It doesn't fit my life style. I'm a low who doesn't belong in the guild....Why you so interested in me about my life story?" Keleth explained his future plans though he played it off as if the brotherhood was not real and just rumors. Keleth was beginning to wonder what was Chase's real agenda for Keleth it felt he was trying find a way to use him by the questions he was getting asked.

Chase was immediately interested in what Keleth knew about the Brotherhood. Chase didn't know much about the group but had heard enough rumors about them to believe that they existed. If Keleth was going to join the group then Chase definitely wanted to keep an eye on him.
In response to Keleth's question Chase said. "I am interested in you because you have some potential to be a strong black mage. I am also interested in what you know about the Brotherhood. I have heard enough about them to believe that they exist but I know very little about there structure and their goals." Chase hoped Keleth would have some information on the Brotherhood. The more he knew the better.

Keleth was pleased to hear he had enough potential to become a good Dark mage or in other words a black mage. Smiling, "Rumors are rumors, but if you want dirt on the brotherhood, then you would go looking in the slums. Though you can't just walk into the slums and expect answers. I had grew up in the slums ever since i fled from my village in this forest. Over the years i hear that the brotherhood only wants to see equal right shared through this land. Well thats how i see it, I don't like the fact that the royal family doesn't take their effort to help the slums. Pretty much brotherhood doesn't like the whole idea of having a throne of the pendragon. Those are the things I had picked up, for them to be true, I have no idea. I'm still waiting to see if I can find them." Keleth spoke about the brotherhood and his opinions. Though he wasn't really out with them he just spoke a little. "You think I will be a good dark mage?" He added to him trying to maybe switch the subject a bit in case things got a little out of hand.
(maybe we can end this thread and start a new one where Keleth has already been training with the brotherhood??)

Chase found Keleth's explanation of the Brotherhood interesting. It was well known that the Brotherhood wanted the slums to gain power but Chase hadn't known that they were also specifically against the Pendragons. Most of the people he had talked to said that while Uther Pendragon could be a little merciless he had been pretty good for the kingdom. And Arthur himself was loved by the masses as a representation of chivalry.
Chase pondered how to answer Keleth's question. He didn't want the teen getting too big a head but he did want Keleth to keep coming to him for questions. Choosing his words carefully he said, "I think that at the moment all things considered you have the makings of a fine mage in you. However you will still have to work hard to get power." Relativly confident in his answer Chase glanced up at the darkening sky. It wouldn't be long before the gates closed. They would both have to leave soon.

Keleth saw the sky darkening and knew his time was up in the forest, "It was good talking to you Chase, but i believe our time is up the gates will be shutting soon. But i believe i will be maybe training in the graveyard. I'm hoping to be in the brotherhood soon." Keleh spoke to Chase and soon ran off toward the slums.
