Raven looked at Lancelot. "Leave me. I see the feeling you harbour for that Pendragon. Well no more. This is the second time I've had my heart broken. I know you don't love me. Perhaps I'm better off with Dreamer." Raven wept. She fell into Felicity's arms amd cried. Every man she fell for either loved another or betrayed her. She felt worthless. An Assassin looked at Lancelot. "You have no idea how much Lady Raven loves you. Her heart belongs to you and yet you fall for the Witch of the Pendragons? I hope you see the damage you've caused Lady Raven. You took her heart but decieved her right from the start. I suggest you leave. Forget about her and the baby. It's for the best." The Assassin was Raven's Aunt Cathleen. She was pissed of and ran her hand down the handle of her sword.

By this point she was well aware of the fact that Raven and Felicity had both slipped off. Just as she was about to answer Lancelot she saw the young man that had been with Raven and Felicity acknowledge her with a bow of his head. Now that he was actually facing her she recognized him to be Legend- one of the Mages of the Guild. Although she had yet to acknowledge her own magic fully, she was aware of the trainings that the Mages went through. She inclined her head in response to his bow but then her attention was pulled away from the Mage's by Lancelot's voice.
"Excuse me Lady Morgana, I am sure that we will return in a moment."
"Of course" The question was whether she would be there when they returned. By this point the entire group that had been surrounding Raven- Felicity, Legend and now Lancelot had left the main area. While she didn't know exactly what was currently going on both the circumstances and the voice in her head were screaming loud and clear that it had something to do with her. As the King's ward she could follow after them all and demand an answer but she didn't even want to attempt going up against a possibly upset Raven or the other Mage and she knew how protective a maid could be for her mistress- based on her interactions with Gwen.
She had done her duty and made an appearance on behalf of the King and Arthur, so rather than upset the balance anymore Morgana was considering just leaving. She looked down at the half empty wine glass in her hand as well as the gift she was still holding and before making a decision sat down on a nearby bench. The voice in her head was starting to give her a headache which for her was never a good thing but she couldn't let the party goers know that there was anything wrong with her. Morgana finished of the glass of wine and made the decision that for the safety of everyone there it was probably best that she leave. Chaos tended to happen when Morgana lost control of her emotions/the voice in her head-things going up in flames, nightmares, etc. Taking one last look down at the gift she was holding she considered leaving it with Raven's other gifts but considering the value of it she knew that wasn't a good idea. With that decision in mind, Morgana stood up from the bench and began to walk slowly towards the party exit. If the others made it back before she had left and wished her to stay she would but she didn't want to ruin anymore fun than she already had.

Felicity held tight to Lady Ravens sobbing figure, looking up at Lancelot with anger in her brown eyes. Even she felt betrayed. Betrayed because she had had faith that true love could exist andf live on forever. Now she knew that it was not possible. Men. They were all scum and they only wanted a woman for one thing! Clearly they could not be trusted.
This was yet another reason why she should banish any feelings she had for Legend. How was she to know that he wouldn't break her heart as Lancelot was breaking Lady Ravens? No....Legend wasn't like that. Then again, Felicity didn't think Lancelot was like that and niether did Lady Raven, who's judgement meant everything in Felicity's eyes.
Perhaps This was all a misunderstanding. Maybe Lancelot did love Lady Raven. Oh, Felicity hoped that this was all a mistake. She wanted Lady Raven and Lancelot to be together forever. She didn't want the baby to be fatherless. Felicity stroked her mistressess hair, trying to sooth her.
"Come now, M'lady....It'll be alright. I do feel that Lancelot's feelings of love are for you and only you." she said, hoping that she was correct. Why wouldn't he love Lady Raven? Any man would be lucky to have her. Felicity often wished that she could be as beautiful, strong, and intelligent as Raven.

Lancelot could tell by the way that she had walked away that she was upset about something, but he was quite unprepared for this. What could she mean? He hadn’t said anything about Morgana, he had just looked at her. Is that what this all about …. a look? Did this mean that this was how paranoid she was …. How little that she would indeed trust him? The more he thought about it the angrier he got,. And what exactly did he owe her anyway. Yes, they shared an-born child and the love that had formed it, but that love could easily be wrecked by doubt. Besides, the thing that had brought them together was when she had imprisoned him He had been her captive audience before they had grown close.
Her words now infuriated him and made his heart turn suddenly icy. While it was true that their relationship could not have been referred to as love at first sight, he had grown to love her and he had a responsibility to both her and the unborn child that would never have denied. “If that’s what you wish and desire. However, you should be careful of what statements that you make of what you think are facts, unless it is your desire to drive me away. As far as Dreamer goes that is a decision that only you can make for yourself. I thought you had already decided that, but apparently it is something that you are reconsidering.” He noted the sudden appearance of one of her Assasin colleagues at their side, and listened only a short time to their unfriendly words. “Hmmm ….. apparently she is the one who is unsure of how much that she loves me. It is obvious that her heart does not belong to me since she allows such a small thing as a glance to bother her in such a way. Damage that I have caused her? I think it is much the other way around. If this is how she truly feels, and you speak for her, perhaps you are correct. I will not and should not abide where I am no wanted. However, unless you want to feel the steel of my blade I suggest you not finger your sword so enticingly.”
As Lancelot turned to go, he saw Felicity arrive, and try to comfort her mistress, and direct some words at both Raven and himself. “Well, Felicity, then perhaps you should have a long talk with your mistress and talk some sense into her. It is obvious that she does not believe that to be true. It is a shame that she has allowed such doubts to creep into a night that should have been a happy one for her. However, given the attitude that she has made quite clear I am in no mood to try and change her mind on this issue. It is something that she will have to come up with on her own, if she chooses to, with your help if you so desire. Given what he has said so far, though, it seems that she has made her decision, and I must respect it, and withdraw with as much honor as I am able. Good evening to you all.” Lancelot backed away slightly, bowed in deference, as Raven was his superior in noble rank, and turned away, walking across the room.
He arrived back at the side of the room where he had left the Lady Morgana. He saw that she had stood up and had drained the remnant of her goblet of wine, and had begun to move toward the exit of the room, after looking across the room, and apparently not having seen the approach of Lancelot. He quickly maneuvered himself between her and the door, and bowed slightly before addressing her. “My Lady Morgana, it appears that you have decided to no longer grace us with your beautiful presence. If you are so intent on leaving the festivities here, would you like an escort back to your rooms at the castle? It is only proper that the ward of the King be escorted properly and not have to travel unguarded within Camelot. As a Knight of Camelot it is my duty and honor and pleasure to offer you such a service, milady” he said, bowing in deference to her once more.

Legend looked at Lady Raven and then at Felicity. He didn't quite understand what was going on. He wished he could help, but he didn't know what to do. He sighed, feeling a little glum. He went over to a chair and sat down just staring of into the deep space, shutting off all the other noises.

Felicity's brown eyes turned to slits as she glowered at Lancelot. Her mouth dropped when he walked over to Morgana. How dare he? Did he know nothing of love? Lady Raven was right not to trust him if he was going to turn around so easilly.
The servant girl was not accusing Lancelot of having unfaithful thoughts before, but to see him taking off with Morgana so quickly, eraseed all doubt. Felicity couldn't help it. She was on her feet, rushing after Lancelot and Morgana.
"Surely you will not leave my mistress like this." Felicity said to him, "She has given you everything and if you truely loved her, you wouldn't rush off with the one she is worried about so quickly."
Felicity had no problem with Morgana. The Pendragon had not tried to sway Lancelot into a lake of unfaithfulness as far as Felicity knew, but she wasn't going to allow Lancelot to go off with her without hearing her own input about it.
Even if Lady Raven was wrong, If Lancelot truely loved her, he would not leave her like this and even if he did go, he shouldn't leave with Morgana. It wasn't a very noble thing to do. Morgana was quite capable of escorting herself and if she wasn't, there were many others who could do the job.
"You're haveing a child with my Mistress, Sire." Felicity reminded him. "A CHILD. Is a beautiful woman worth leaving them both?"

Legend felt so very confused. He looked at Morgana and tried to get the cenection between her, Lancelot, Felicity and Raven. it didn't fit. He sighed and just stuck to sitting in that chair of his. He leaned back and closed his eyes very unsure of what he was doing. He thought and he pondered. He couldn't think of anything so in the end he just gave up and let his mind wander.

Raven sighed. "I will have my hell hounds escort the Pendragon back." she said. Raven closed her eyes and two hellish looking dogs appeared by her side. "Take Morgana home." Raven ordered. She looked at Lancelot. Her heart was broken. "I'm sorry. I should not let my paranoia get the better of me." she said. Raven was so insecure. Cathleen gaven Lancelot a warning look through the darkness of her hood. Raven took Lancelot's hand. "But if your heart lies with Morgana I wont stop you from following your heart." Raven said. These words made tears sting her eyes, but she held back.

(sorry- lots of pissed off Morgana muse lol)
Morgana had just about made it to the door of the room when Lancelot slipped in between her and the door and gave a quick bow of deference. She had to stop rather suddenly so as not to crash into him. Morgana was about to order him out of the way when he so eloquently offered his services to escort her home. She was within Camelot's safe walls- walls that she had grown up in since she was a young maid. She knew more of the secrets of Camelot's city reaches than most- well perhaps not as much as some of the guards, but she could certainly hold her own. "Thank you for the flattery Lancelot however I believe it is time I returned to the castle. I may be mis-reading the situation, but something about my presence here has thrown off the evenings festivities and I would not wish to RUIN anyone else's evening. Should the Lady Raven wish to receive her gift later inform her that she can send me word. As for an escort back to the palace, while it is your duty, I am more than capable of escorting myself back within the walls of the palace."
She had just finished explaining why she was leaving and that she did not require an escort this evening when she heard footsteps running to catch up to them and the voice of a young serving girl- Morgana turned to see that it was Felicity. "Surely you will not leave my mistress like this. She has given you everything and if you truely loved her, you wouldn't rush off with the one she is worried about so quickly. You're haveing a child with my Mistress, Sire. A CHILD. Is a beautiful woman worth leaving them both?" As she listened to Felicity tear into Lancelot the situation fell into place. If she was reading the explanation right apparently Raven was worried about something between Morgana and Lancelot. Suddenly she was seeing the full situation for the first time. Lancelot and Raven were together with a child on the way, but something had happend to make Raven doubt that and now Lancelot was thought to be running off with Morgana. Morgana let her gaze pass between Lancelot and Felicity then drew herself up to the full height and presence of her status. The accusations had to stop. "You will remember which 'beautiful woman' you are currently speaking about. I do not entirely know what has gone on this evening however this display of behaviour is unacceptable- you are shouting at a Knight of Camelot in the presence of the King's ward. Whatever has gone on between your mistress and Lancelot should not be aired in public- especially when feelings run the risk of being trashed and there are skills of both magic and sword at play. As for rushing off with me, Lancelot saw that I was preparing to leave and did what his duty to Camelot would have him do-offer to escort me safely back to the confines of the palace."
Morgana was about to say something about her turning down Lancelot's offer of an escort for two reasons, she was more than capable of escorting herself back to the palace, but there were also other members of Uther's court that would escort her back if it came to that, when Raven joined them near the door. "I will have my hell hounds escort the Pendragon back....Take Morgana home. I'm sorry. I should not let my paranoia get the better of me. But if your heart lies with Morgana I wont stop you from following your heart." Morgana took a step back in surprise as the hounds appeared at her side- no wonder she called them hellhounds...they reminded her of the creatures her nursemaid used to tell her about in her stories as a way to scare Morgana in to behaving. "Thank you for the offer of your 'hounds' Lady Raven, but as I have already told Lancelot and clearly demonstrated on many occasions I am no longer a child who requires a 24/7 hour guard for protection. I am more than capable of escorting myself across the city square. Now, either return to your festivities or disband the party...." With that said Morgana tossed Raven's gift at her, gave everyone there a look that said 'smarten up' and slipped out the door past Lancelot. Out in the fresh air she took a deep breath and then started back toward the castle. She knew that whether she needed it or not there would a guard at least watching out for her- Morgana knew that they followed her movements everytime she left the confines of the palace at Uther's orders, and she somehow suspected that Raven wouldn't simpy call off the hounds either but she left that up to Raven to make the final decision whether to actually send them or not.

"As you wish, Lady Morgana," Lancelot responded, as Morgana responded negatively to his offer of an escort, but he understood. She was, after all, the ward of the King, and as she said was an adult, and well used to traveling within Camelot. In fact, Lancelot could well understood how suffocated the young noblewoman might feel with how she was often treated. He was even more understanding when the various persons descended on both himself and Morgana. "Perhaps, Lady Morgana, there will be another time when you will grant me the honor of accompanying you. As a Knight of Camelot it is my duty to serve. A safe and pleasant evening to you, milady," he said as he saw her exit.
He did his best to simply ignore the pleas of Felicity. She was simply being over-protective of her mistress, he thought. "It is unnecessary, and obviously undesired of a request, Lady Raven," he said in a formal manner. "I think it would be best if you would call off your hellhounds. It is obvious that she does not desire them. As to the rest, your apologize is not required. However, your reaction is illuminating in itself. Your paranoia is an education for me and a reminder that the way in which we were brought together were engineered by you."
He took a brief pause as he took a deep breath and returned the glare of Raven's aunt. "I, of course, will always have a responsibility to you and the child, which I will never abandon. My heart does not lie with Morgana, and her heart does not lie with me, obviously. My heart lies with another, who I lost and will forever be lost to me, and I do not see how there can be another. My heart is then a Knight's heart and a Knight's heart only. It can only lie with being a Knight of Camelot, and protecting Camelot and the Pendragons from whatever forces that may threaten it or them. And before I say something that I may regret or that you do something that you will, I think that it is best that I take my leave," and he exited in Morgana's wake, but in search of his horse that he could take for the open road. Right now he craved the freedom of the open road and escape from the suffocation of the walls of Camelot.

Legend was startled when the two hellhounds stood by Raven's side. He shook his head in amazement, he'd heard that they were vicious creatures, Raven must have trained them. Either that or the things he'd heard about them were wrong. He had no clue what was happening, but he saw that Felicity was involved and he wanted to help because of that. But he didn't know how.

Felicity glared as Lancelot with eyes like daggers. She then turned to her Mistress with sorrow filled eyes. This had not been a nice birthday for her after all. Now Felicity wanted to help her friend, btu how could she? She could not turn back time.
"I'm so sorry, M'lady." she said in a gentle tone. She then stole a look with Legend, apoligizing for ignoring him. "Is there anything I can do for you, Lady Raven?"

Legend caught Felicity's eye and smiled at her to show her that her apology had been accepted. He looked at Lancelot, and then at Raven. He'd seen them kiss, then he'd seen Lancelot with Morgana. Perhaps there was something between the sister of Arthur Pendragon and the knight. He seriously hoped not and on poor Raven's birthday too. He felt bad for her if that was the case.
