It was a few days after they had returned and parted ways. Raven had sent Dreamer a little message asking him to meet her at the parkland near the gallows. She was dressed in a black dress. The corset was black and had a swirl detail on the front. The skirt was black lace with a silk skirt underneath. She sat under an apple tree. The sun was nice and warm. A perfect summers day. The birds were singing and the noise of the people in the market place could be heard. She sighed and waited patiently.

Where as Raven had waited in anticipation for their next meeting, Dreamer had been thrown into Camelot's mess once again, and left with no time for himself. It had been days, and Dreamer could not remember when he had last slept. Although, because of his efforts, things began to take quiet down. That is, for a moment. As he closed his eyes at the seat of his Desk, Raven's message arrived.
Dreamer read the note, instantly remembering the events from a few day's earlier, the memories that he had yet to have time to make sense of. Not wishing to be rude, Dreamer began to leave to meet her at the designated place. That is, until he looked down at himself. Dreamer sighed as he looked at himself, and assumed he must have smelled something rotten as well.
Dreamer didn't know what he should do, but he figured he would find an answer by taking the long way through the market. Dreamer ran to make good time, taking the long step's by two before he raced through the giant doors, he would need to be quick. He didn't worry about sweating into his clothes, he could neither appear nor smell any worse than he already did.
Dreamer arrived, winded, into the market. He began to quickly look around for the solutions to his problem's. The clothing was painless to find, he decided on wearing what he always wore. A white tunic with equally matching pant's. He purchased the clothing, but couldn't find a quick solution to his smell. He sighed, this one would take a moment longer than he wanted it to. Dreamer ran to a local wash house, which he saw was full.
Dreamer swore profanities as he began to consider his options, when he remembered that he held a position equal to a noble now. Running to speak with the owner of the bath house, Dreamer conveyed his status, and backed it up with more coin than the man was willing to deny. Fifteen minutes later, Dreamer was washed and wore his new clothing. Aside from his belt, which contained a number of items in its bags, and his blades, Dreamer had thrown away his previous attire.
Wishing not to keep her any further, Dreamer made one last trip through the market before leaving. He arrived at the garden a long ten minutes later, Roses in hand. "I apologize for my tardiness" he said, with an awkward smile on his face.

Raven smiled as she heard his voice and turned to face him. "It's good to see you again, Dreamer. I've missed you. I would've got in contact earlier but I was terribly busy. My cousin was ill so I had to see to him." she explained. With one swift move of her slender hand, Raven produced a lily in her hand. She gave it to him and sat down. Even now his good looks still took her breath away.

Dreamer gladly took the lilly before handing her roses over. He smelt the flower before holding it at his side. He took a glance at her, and took in every detail. He avoided staring at any one place for too long, so as to avoid her notice of his perceptions. He finally decided on keeping his eyes on hers, despite how well that dress suited her form.
"I'm sorry about your cousin," he said, "Is he well?".

"He has the plague. It's swept his village. I treated over thirty families a whole inn and two farms. I'm really worn out, but glad you're here." she smiled and took the roses and smelt them. They were beautiful. She sighed and looked into the clear blue sky. "Such a beautiful day. But yes as I was saying about my cousin and his village. Im busy brewing a potion that should help. My mother has helped cure the plague and passed her potions book down to me." she said. Raven thought Dreamer look great as ever.

Dreamer blinked
"Did she just say the plague?" he thought, "I think she just said the plague". Dreamer defiantly hoped that by plague, she meant a sweeping case of bad diarrhea or sniffles. The plague was serious business, and it made Dreamer feel as though his last couple day's were nothing compared to Raven's.
It seemed they both needed a break.
"Well, ok...ummm....ok" He said, not really sure of what he was supposed to say after her.

"I know its seems bad but luckily the epidemic is only in the village of Madeley. Just take this if you ever go there." she said handing him what looked like an all over body lotion. She smiled and took is hand as a reassuring gesture. Her hands maybe dry and cut but she had been working for the past few days. Having Dreamer back in her life was making her feel less worried and more happy about life.

Dreamer nodded and took the lotion, not having anything to say, he surely had any intention of ever visiting the village of madeley. Ever. Dreamer took Raven's hand as she offered it, and felt the fine lines of cracked skin and fading cuts. She had been working hard, and he felt an odd sense of pride, despite his lack of involvement.
Interesting.
Dreamer turned her hand over and traced the lines of each wound, and began to sing small tune.
"Lots of work In little time Scars that hurt Begone with rhyme".
It was a small, but it traveled from her hand to expand across the rest of her body. Any small injury, natural or not, was cleared away. All cut and dry skin was replaced with soft skin that felt like silk to the touch. "A Reward for a job well done" he said.

She blushed. "Thank you." she said. "I have nothing to give back to you." she said. She felt guilty. He was so good to her. Raven thought she had finally found someone worth her heart. But she would not give Dreamer her heart completely until she was absolutely sure he was the one for her. She gave him a sweet smile. Just being in his presence was enough for her.

"A gift isn't given in the hopes of a reward" he said, thinking back to the gifts she had already given him. The necklaces that held personal value to her, the ones still around his neck, were gifts she had given him a few days earlier. He had yet to take them off. Dreamer squeezed her hand gently in a reassuring manner, it was fine.

"I can read you like a book, Jasen." she said. It was true. She felt like he didn't feel anything for her. Then again how could she blame him. She came from a feared blood line. The Silvesters were renowned magical assassins. She didn't want to carry on that trait though her father had worked close to the king and killed some of his enemies. Raven shook her head to get the dreaded memory out of her head. But perhaps she will one day have to take up her father's place.

Dreamer smirked, "Maybe, but it must be difficult.." he said,"I'm written in a dead language". He enjoyed the thought that someone was willing to feel so...close, to him. Then again, why else was he here? His own thoughts worked against him, "Because you want her too". Dreamer told himself to shut up, although not as quickly as he may have thought.
"How do you know my birth name?" he asked. He asked because he was both curious, he had never told her, and he needed to evade the silence he feared would come between them.

'Darn.' she cursed herself mentally. "I over heard Merlin saying your birth name." she lied. Lying was one of her best traits. Inherited from her father, Raven usually used this to get passed trouble in her home town. She gave him and awkward look and looked back at the ground again. Hopefully, he would buy it and everything would be OK. If not she was in deep trouble and in hot water of losing the man she ever cared about.

Instinct told him to leave it alone, but Dreamer's curiosity won the battle this time. Dreamer had been working with Merlin for the last few day's, plus he knew Merlin, he would have mentioned if someone was asking about him. As an added bonus, he was a liaison for both the nobles and Mage's alike. He was getting good at spotting a lie.
Dreamer sat beside her, still holding her hand. With anyone else, he would have played cat and mouse with the information. Like a game, he would have picked at the opponent until they cracked, spilling out the answers he wanted eventually. Such an act seemed to cruel for the moment. Instead, he turned to asking her, "Please don't lie to me".
