"Wait..." Dreamer said, watching her as she put her hair up. When she moved a few paces away he raised his voice and said, "Wait!". He moved from his place and moved so he was infront of her, blocking her from leaving. "What did i do?" he asked, confused, "Why are you leaving?".

Raven sighed. "I can see when I'm not wanted, so if you'll excuse me." she said and walked around him. It was like her suitors all over again. She'd try her best to make them happy but all it would do would make things worse.
She stopped and sat on a bench a few yards from the gallows. How she wished she had the hangman's noose around her neck right now. She was heartbroken. Though she didn't show it she could definitely feel it. Her heart ached and she tried her best to ignore it.

Deamer watched as she walked away, confused at the what happened in the last few moments. She assumed he didn't want her, when the opposite was true. He wanted her, just more way's than one. He was getting so flustered with want, that he didn't know how to handle himself.
"What did i do?", Dreamer asked himself.
He had to know. What did he do? He Had to Know!
Dreamer ran in the general direction that Raven had walked away. He couldnt find her at first, and he began calling her name."Raven!" he shouted, "Raven!". People he passed simply looked at him as an oddity, scurrying from him as he shouted like a mad man.
As the sun's light began to wane, Dreamer came across her. She was sitting at a bench, looking solemn and alone. "Raven!" he shouted, rushing to her side. "I Have to know!" he said inbetween breaths, "What makes you think i dont want you?".

Raven sighed and didn't make eye contact. "I just feel like this will go the same way as my suitors." she said. She looked at him. "I don't want that to happen." she said. She hugged herself trying to stop herself from crying. It hurt her to see him like this. "I am sorry." she apologized.

Dreamer stood there for a few minutes, struggling with his own inner temoil. He couldnt decide if he was sad or was angry. He didn't want whatever Raven and him had, or could have, to end. Despite his resistance, he did feel something.
On the other hand
Dreamer felt a sense of Anger he couldn't place in any one place. He was angry at himself for both his resistance and his involvement. He was also angry at her, she was breaking his heart. Something dark lurked inside, something that wanted out, that wanted to react.
He alsmost didn't care.
"So Give up, that's always the better option..." Dreamer said aggressivly. He wanted to continue, but then he turned around and began to walk away. He stopped for a minute, still struggling, he said, "...It's probably safer for you in the end.". It was a comment that held empathy, but lacked the voice to support it, despite the compassion of the speaker.

Raven grabbed his hand. "Dreamer. I've been in a lot of dangerous situations. Please don't leave me. I can't imagine life without you. Not now not ever. Please forgive me." she said. Raven stood up and wrapped her arms around him lovingly. Trying to comfort him, to apologise through actions as well as words. She looked at him and brushed a stray strand of hair from his beautiful eyes. "I'll always be here for you. No matter what the situation or problem I'll be here for you." she smiled.

Raven grabbed his hand to protest his leaving, and he stayed still. His tension didn't shift, even as she wrapped her arms around his body and hugged him from behind. When he turned, she was trying to reassure him of her faithfulness. She seemed so stricken with emotion that the Dreamer had no choice but to reassure her. He nodded as she promised to always be there for him. "I believe you" he said, the most forgiving thing he could say at the moment. He smiled, adding a taste of honesty to his statement.

Raven sighed. "I dont know if I can believe you." she said. She walked back to the tree and sat back down. "I love you Dreamer but my life. Its dangerous. I dont know if you'll be able to cope with me being an assassin." she said. She looked up and saw the birds flying over. So free. She only wished she was a bird.

This time Dreamer really did smile. Coping with Raven being an Assassin? Sure, it was a real shocker considering the fact that she didn't seem like the type. Nor had he ever seen her wield magic or blade in battle, but it was not impossible. Dreamer had already done his own fair share of adventure and battle, both of which he was regrettable assured of in the future.
Hell his old friend use to be an assassin.
Dante.
Dreamer stopped smiling.
"There are worse things in life than being an assassin, or being close to one, I can deal with more than you know" Dreamer said. The memory of Dante brought an edge to his voice, but not one he would be unable to check. Dante was dead, he couldn't save him, he cant bring him back, and that was that. He kept his mind on Raven instead.

Raven sighed and offered her hand. "Then come on we haven't got all day." she said. She looked at a wall. A wall that seemed ordinary enough. She pressed a few stones and the wall slid apart. She pulled Dreamer in. The assassins 'A' hung here and there letting others know this was an assassins guild. She walked into a main room where torches blazed. She bowed to the head assassin and walked over to the book cases and pulled off some books and began to skim read and make notes.

Dreamer looked puzzled as Raven opened a hidden door...in a random wall...odd. She pulled him into what she explained to be the "Hidden Assassins Guild", or in his definition, "Creepy Place". She let his hand go as she bowed to some random passerby, and not caring as to the nature of the person, he walked along behind her. He stopped when he saw her open a book and take notes, then another, and another.
Odd?
Dreamer was certain he must have passed through another realm. He was certain that he and Raven had been having a straining day of their relationship. Then suddenly, he ended up in a "Secret" assassins guild where she ended up reading.
She took him to the nicest of places.

Raven looked up from her books. She smiled at Dreamer. She interlocked their fingers as she took his hand. "Dreamer. I can't do this assassination alone. I need to get my hands on sme dark magic. Any chance you can help me?" she asked. She smiled at him. Then she placed a hand on his cheek. She wanted to kiss him. Hold him close. Somehow she knew he wouldn't want that. She sighed and pressed her forehead against his and smiled warmly. "I love you Dreamer." she whispered. A happy giggle escaped her lips. She loved him. That's all she knew. Her heart belonged to him and only him. She waited for his reply.

Conflicting
Dreamer was torn between his want to appease Raven, and protect her. She didn't know what she was asking him, Darkness wasnt a toy to be played with. Her intent was perfect, she wanted to kill others with Dark magic. He felt somehow, unabliged to help her with that task. He wasn't exactly picture perfect, he had taken many mens lives, yet he had only used such force when all other options were gone.
And with Chase, damn him.
Then again, he loved her. It was sappy, wanted to please her with the knowledge she wished only because of his feelings. Yet, he couldnt shake it, the need to make her happy. It was rather, annoying in a way. An annoyance he felt could make him happy.
Then again, did she know what she was asking him to do? Him, the Grey mage?
"My love," he said, "Do you truely know what you ask of me?".

Raven sighed and looked at him. "It's the only way I can kill my target. I've trained with the art of sorcery, not swordmanship." she said. She couldn't wait any longer. She wrapped her arms aroind his neck and kissed him, passionatly. She felt safe with him around. She loved Dreamer and so far this was the only way to express it. She didn't know whether she was ready to make the next step and fully submit to him, even though she wanted to so bady. Raven pulled back. She rested her head on his shoulder. "Please help me." she whispered, desparation clouding her voice. Her heart beated wildly as she was in Dreamer's arms. Nonetheless it was a perfect oblivion.

Dreamer accepted the passionate embrace gladly. His lips upon hers was a blessing and a curse. The white, the good part of him flourished with the emotions that surrounded them. The Black, the monster, fed off the lust created from the connection, and pushed for more. He wouldn't let that happen. Dreamer separated himself, although that only meant she rested her head against his shoulder, and listened as she spoke.
"Please help me."
She asked him in desperation, and he bite his lip and closed his eyes. He didn't approve, but he could not deny her. "Fine" he said, "At a latter time".
