Malvallet! So that was it. Chase knew he had seen the crest somewhere. Though the long lost son part didn't seem to match. After all why hadn't he said that earlier? Maybe he thought that Chase would let him go if Chase thought he was a nobles son. If he did he was wrong. Chase wasn't about to let the knight slip away. In fact he was even more interested to see how this ended now.
"Hmm interesting" Chase said "Unfortunately I still need to bring you in. Although if you are another noble I doubt you'll be punished. " Chase wondered if he should test the knights nobility. If he really was a noble he would recognize the Caldera name. After all his dad did control the wine industry. "So if you really are a noble you should be able to tell me which merchant controls the wine industry."

Avarais had to stop and think for a moment on her words. Her family had not dealt with wine merchants all that often, and could hardly remember a name...if any. She bit her lip, wringing out her mind for a name. Caldera? Was that it? It had been years upon years. She took a stab at it. "Caldera...if I remember correctly. It has been years, and my parents were hardly involved in wine purchases. "
She exhaled the breath she hardly knew she was holding and lifted her gaze back to the boy. Hopefully that was the answer he was looking for. She honestly had no desire to get in another skirmish and decided internally it best if she went with him. It would all work out the moment Uther, Arthur and Morgana saw her face...this boy...would simply not understand.

Well the knight had passed Chase's test so it was probably best if they headed back to the castle. Chase had no intention of arriving late and having to explain himself to the guards. Chances were they would love to take a knock at the magicians guild and attempt to refuse him entrance. Not that he would allow them to. He would enjoy the chance to remind them who was stronger.
"Well lets go then." With that Chase started walking his horse towards the castle. He would speed up once the knight caught up with him.

Avaris rolled her eyes under the guard of the helmet and released a heavy, annoyed sigh. Gavin had gained his energy once more and scratched his forehead upon her arm. She smiled faintly rubbing her ears and in one quick motion hod mounted the large stallion once more.
She turned him with a small pull of the reins and towered over the boy. "Now then...shall we be off?"

Chase continued riding towards the castle. He was feeling pretty good about himself. Sure he hadn't discovered the knights full identity but he had managed to get him to come with him to Camelot. Although the fact that he had yet to get the knight to remove his helmet bothered him.
"Hey" Chase called out to the knight "Its probably not important to you but if you want to enter Camelot you'll have to take off your helmet so the guards can identify you. Make sure your not an assasin or something." There that would ensure that Chase would see just who this mystery knight was.

Avaris rolled her eyes. That wasn't going to happen any time soon. "Yeah...that's not going to happen. Not in front of you kid." she smirked. If he kept this sup any further, she would most certainly lose him. She could kill him, but that would be awfully unnecessary and fate probably wouldn't let hi die at her hand. he, of course was not the one supposed to reveal her identity. He might see it, but he would not reveal it.

Chase smirked at the knight's tone of voice. What was the knight going to do? The knight was under his power for now. Chase would ensure that he was included when the knight met the king and his fate was decided. Then the knight would have to reveal his identity. Chase had to admit he was looking forward to it. Just seeing the proud knight having to humble himself would be worth it.
They approached Camelot and Chase wondered whether he should prod the knight any farther. He couldn't resist the urge to tease "So why are you so adamant on refusing to allow me to see your face. One would almost believe your a girl."

Avaris gave a short laugh, trying to act amused by the comment. it was true, but he wouldn't know that. She pulled tight at Gavin's bit and contemplated racing him off again. It was worth a short. Gavin was probably faster than his horse which would definitely prove an advantage.
"It is simply a pride thing, reputation you see. I have created myself as a mystery and I fully intend to keep it. I am who I am, and that's no concern of yours." she replied in a huff, as she tightened her grip on her stallion's leather reins.

Chase couldn't help but be amused by this knight. The knight was talking about having created a mysterious reputation. It certainly was an interesting way to gain fame. Though the knights attitude and his action didn't match. Did the knight really think that Chase wouldn't notice him tightening his bridle and grip on the reins? Chase was brilliant and reading people and to do that he had trained himself to notice small movements that betrayed what they were going to do. Unfortunately he had no idea why the knight was doing it. If he had seen the knights face then chances were he could have figured the knight out.
Chase called out "Well if you like your pride and mystery then I can should also be allowed to tell you that two of my favorite things are tearing away peoples pride and discovering who they really are. And it is my job since I am the person who is taking you in for questioning unless you forgot. Wouldn't it be better if I know more about you? After all knowledge not muscle is power."
Chase contemplated his words, it was true that knowledge could be incredibly useful. Through it you could force people to help you or embarrass your enemies. After all everyone needed at least one tool to help them do their work. However in the end the only person Chase could rely on was himself. All others eventually became baggage that slowed him down.

Avaris tighetened her grip once more, wrenching the leather in her hands. She clenched her jaw tightly and suddenly dug her heels into Gavin's side. There was no way she was going to allow some young boy control over her-The Silver Knight. She had worked too hard in life to have her cover blown like this.
Gavin thundered past his horse. Despite his size, Gavin was incredibly fast and sturdy. Not only could he bear the wight, but could outrun many. His great hooves attacked the ground rhythmically and dug into the soft earth with great speed. If she went down, she would go down fighting.

Chase laughed as the knight attempted to escape once more. People were so stupid he found them funny. Chase had already caught him once did the knight really think he could escape again? Well at least Chase's horse was getting a good work out and if his horse failed Chase's magic would not. His magic was perfect.
Chase galloped after the knight. With the knights head start this promised to be an interesting race. The knights horse was slightly better, but had a heavier burden. Chase's horse probably wasn't quite as good but had a lighter load. If the outcome had depended just on the horses Chase wouldn't have been sure who would win. To bad for the knight the outcome didn't depend on the horses.

Chase's horse was also fast and before she knew what hit her, the beast was already at Gavin's flank. She pulled his reins sharply to the right and pulled back, forcing a sharp curve in his direction. Avaris heart was racing, almost as fast as her equine friend. She wasn't quite sure what she was doing, nor the consequences if there were any. Quite simply, she wasn't thinking at all.
Gavin stalled suddenly at the sight of a large tree that had fallen in his path. With nervous breath, she rubbed his neck and jabbed her heels into his side. He finally reciprocated and leapt over, barely making it across. She hadn't looked over her shoulder for her new enemy, and wasn't quite sure where he was.
(OOC: Sorry I've been slow. I'm still trying to unpack from school. I've been awfully busy, but should be on more now.)

Chase could tell that his horse was catching up. He was almost abreast with the knight's horse. Suddenly the knight pulled his reins and his horse turned sharply to the right. Chase did likewise but his horse wasn't as fast at turning. However when he glanced up he realized that the knight had boxed himself in. There was a huge tree in the knights path. There was no way the horse would be able to jump it.
The horse jumped it. Chase cursed and threw himself off his horse shouting "De" There was no way his horse would have been able to jump the tree. With his magic Chase effortlessly flew over the tree. He saw the knight galloping away from him. Chase increased him speed and murmured "Rhun sûl" Chase felt the energy drain out of him as the spell activated. If it had worked a strong wind should be hitting the horse head on slowing it down and unbalancing it.

Gavin reared at the wind and threw Avaris against the wind. He tossed her hard against a tree, not aware of his own actions, and galloped away. Chase had won. Avaris gave a small moan, bracing herself up slowly. The protective armour and chain mail underneath had rubbed up hard with the blow, and she would most likely find the bruises later.
Hands firmly braced against the three, she stood cautiously, only to find her enemy standing upon his horse before her. "Well...it appears you have won...are you happy?"

Chase had won. He loved the feeling of power that came with knowing that yet another opponent had been forced to admit Chase's superiority. After all power was the most important thing in this world. Now what should he do next? He could force the knight back to Camelot, but that wouldn't be any fun. Instead he could reveal the knight's identity. It would be fun to watch the oh so proud knight reveal his identity.
"Yes of course I won I thought I told you earlier that trying to run would be foolish. So if you could be so kind as to remove your silly little helmet then we can get a move on." Chase spoke the words in a light hearted air but made very clear at the end that the knight had better do what Chase wanted.
