Dreamer had heard the two men argueing, but didn't care enough to pay attention at the moment. It seemed that wasn't the case for Nellie. She excused herself and left to go deal with the problem, making him more interested. He turned in his seat and watching, his hands folded in his lap.
He cringed when she started to get physical. Even only a few paces away, Dreamer heard the snap and could imagine the pain of a knee to the stomach. In short, Dreamer felt much more confidant believing he was on Nellies good side.
In the end, the guy staggered away and Nellie came back. Dreamer just looked at her for a second before saying, "Remind me not to piss you off Milady".

When Nellie returned, she wasn't in a bad mood. Oh, quite the contrary. She loved fighting. It gave her a sort of thrill. But it wasn't so much fun when she won without a single problem. Those were the only kind of fights she got at the bar. At least it was fighting. Nellie smiled and laughed at his words and shook her head. "No, you won't. That's just the only way to get across to those to guys. They think they're invincible, especially to weak girl." She winked at him in a conspiratorial kind of way. His comment had quite amused her. Even if someone annoyed her, she didn't usually attack them, only if they posed some sort of harm, that was when she decided it was time for physical action.

Dreamer couldn't help but feel a chill down his spine as he figured that she wasn't even angry. She had done what she needed to do, so emotionless and precise. Now he REALLY did not ever want to anger her. Then a thought passed his mind, and he couldn't help it.
He had a humorous nature.
Dreamer put his fists up in a playful manner, the grin on his face already giving away his joke, "I bet i could take you".

Nellie saw Dreamer straighten up a bit, and saw gooseflesh on his arms. That's when she felt bad. She didn't mean to scare him, but it wasn't like that guy was going to go easily. She relaxed a bit when she saw a smile cross his face. She couldn't help the laugh that bubbled up in her throat when he put up his fists. She raised an eyebrow and looked at him. "You sure about that?" She was smiling, glad at the change the subject had taken. She knew that he couldn't take her, and if they were to have a full-on fight, she would probably murder him. But if they did end up having a fun brawl, she would make sure he'd walk away with no broken bones. Though Nellie couldn't see him agreeing to a fight with her, especially after seeing what she did to the tall, buf guy in the back.

Dreamer raised an eyebrow, the grin still stretched upon his face "You underestimate me?" he said. Dreamer loved how people could do that. He would happily admit that she was stronger than him, he wasn't exactly the strongest person around. Years of various training and experience had taught him to be more of an acrobat, and to let the opponent do most of the fighting.
Dreamer didn't see the point of throwing punches unless they were necessary. It was much easier to just move out of the way, or duck under an opponents defenses. If they felt like tiring themselves out trying to catch them, more power to them.

Nellie smiled wider, her white teeth gleaming. She shrugged and looked at him. "Perhaps. Would you care to test to it out?" She was holding back laughter, to keep her calm facade. She was also trying to put a bit of fake fear in her eyes, and she was hoping it worked. She was very confident she could take him, which could be her undoing. At least if it was, he wouldn't hurt her.

Dreamer smiled, the urge was quiet tempting. He knew he wasn't going to hurt her, she could be six feet tall with eight inch thick muscles, he still wouldn't smack her, he didn't hit women. Which didnt mean he couldn't just avoid her, make her wear herself out. Maybe tap her lightly here and there. He had a chance, she scared him, so he had a chance.
"Im not saying that we'll fight, that's against the rules, we could get fired" he said in a serious tone for a moment. Then he grinned again, "But...if i were to be attacked, or you would be confused who you were fighting, then that's only self defense on both sides" then he got up and started to walk to the back to go threw the back door of the tavern.
The night air was chilly, and he could see his breath as he breathed. He moved to the back wall, facing the opposite side of the tavern, and waited, ready.

Nellie was excited and her blood was singing with the new challenge presented before her. She had to make her smile go down a bit because her cheeks were starting hurt. She sobered up a bit, letting herself slip into that different state of mind. the one where aiming in the right places was her main thought. Of course, she would be sure not to hurt him, because they were just having fun. She nodded her head. When he went out back she waited a second and waved over Nana, a girl who worked in the back, to man the bar. She just hoped there would be no real fights while she was out having a fake one. Then Nellie made her way outside the back after Dreamer. "Ok, obviously we're not trying to hurt eachother. How about this. First one of us to get the other on the floor wins? Or else we keep up at eachother forever," she said, smiling.

Dreamer smiled, he very much liked the idea, it presented the alternative that neither of them would do the other serious harm. That meant he wasn't the only one with a limitation now. He agreed, but he had to do it in a humorous fashion "I agree, that's assuming you can hit me".
Dreamer wasn't going to use his magic for this battle, it was just a fun little fight, nothing serious. Much unlike at the guild. The thought of that night pulled a heart string as he felt himself get a little angry at the thought of it.
"You first Milady" he said, standing in position.

To his joke, Nellie simply nodded. She was already letting her mind slip into that other state. She was watching him, taking in his moves, his stance, how to maneuver around him that would give her the best shot. Her eyes were analyzing everything, taking in her surroundings. Every move he made, she took in. There was nothing that was going unnoticed. She stepped her right foot and crouched just a tiny bit, her hands open, arms held loosely by her side and up by her stomach. (I'm trying to explain it best I can, lol) She dashed to the left, but didn't make a move yet, ready to duck or dodge if needed. She jumped and slid behind him, and made a move to pounce on his back. She just hoped she made it.

She took to much time, made too much action, Dreamer was able to watch as she attempted to pull a fast one on him. He watched, without moving, waiting for the right moment to make his move. Then he found it, as she pounced at him, he side stepped as she was in the air and grabbed at her arm with one hand and pushed down on her back with the other.
With all his might, and the momentum from her own weight being forced forward, he pushed her down. Letting go of her arm as she was moving.

Nellie saw too late that he had already guessed her next move. She cursed in her mind as she saw herself falling to the ground, but already had a plan in mind. But, again, he surprised her by grabbing her arm and pushing her faster to the floor. He did her a favor by letting her arm go at the last moment. In that second, she shot her hands out in front of her and sprang herself forward into a flip, thus landing on her feet. She smiled at him ruefully. "You're good," she said a little breathy. She realized the mistake that she made last time; taking too much time. This time, she made the obvious attack, pulling her arm back for a punch, but at the last second, she checked herself and slid under him, using her arms to try and get his legs out from under him. She slid out from under him, ready to attack again, but also prepared for the counterattack he was sure inact if that last little maneuver had failed.
