Dreamers day had not gone as well as he had planned. Although technically he had not planned on anything, the day did turn out quiet horrible. To start off, he must have dropped a book when he was running from the Ram the other night, so it was missing. Then when he arrived at the Magicians Guild to take his Mage's test, one of the elder mage's refused to tell him where Merlin was.
He was not one to get angry, but the fools at the Magicians Guild really pushed it. He spent his nights studying and pushing himself past exhaustion in hope that they would accept him, and all they did was turn a blind eye at him. He was so frustrated he felt himself start to lose control, and decided he should cool off and let some of his excess magic go.
That's what brought him to the Barracks. The guild didn't often get requests to heal the army, but sometimes there was a case or two that needed work. The palace healers couldn't do everything, somethings just needed a little magic.
So there he was strolling threw the barracks in his odd attire, his hair pulled back in a little ponytail so it would not get in his eyes. He moved around from the rooms to the training grounds, healing everything from a splinter to a broken arm. After about an hour an a half he started to have trouble breathing, so he decided to sit down and watch the training.
He didn't often do this, since his schedule was busy already. Although he started to consider he should. His life tended to be slightly dangerous, especially with his rocky friendship with Dante. Dreamer knew the man would best him in a fair fight, luckily neither of them fought fairly.
Dreamer trailed away from his thoughts as he watched two trainees dueling with swords. Both were equally matched, sharing blows on a similar pace. One caught his particular attention though, although he didn't see why. He was just like any other trainee, but seemed different, almost familiar. It was hard to tell from a distance, but he figured he had met him before.
Although he couldn't recall where.

It was one of Imriel's off days. She could do whatever she wanted as she didn't have to report to Arthur until tomorrow for her training. Tomorrow she would have to fight while on horseback, which was something she had not done before. So she thought she could get a little extra training in before the difficult day. With her practice armor on, she walked to the barracks where she knew she could find a training partner. A young lad about her age offered up and they begin to spar.
Blocking his strikes gracefully, Imriel was doing quite well until a ball hit her back and the young lad struck flesh. Imriel dropped her sword, surprised and her hand went to her upper arm where she found blood. The lad became scared and ran off to get Gauis. The wound was not too deep, though it required attention and Imriel moved to the sidelines so she would not be trampled by any of the other recruits. She held her arm close to her, glad it was not a chest or stomach wound that required her to take off her tunic. She hoped Gauis would come soon.

Dreamer sighed, one of the boys finally went in for a reckless strike and struck true. Blood now slide down wounded lad's arm, not life threatening, but it would need to be tended to if she wanted to escape infection. Dreamer sighed for one last time, finding the sound relaxing compared to the sounds of battle surrounding him.
Dreamer finally removed himself from his seat and walked up behind the boy. "Don't worry" Dreamer said, "Let me see this" he said it while placing his hand gently on the boys opposite shoulder. He didn't want to spook him or cause him any sort of unnecessary pain.
Dreamer moved so that he was facing the boy's front before bringing his face closer in to see the wound. It wasnt bad, if anything it would have left a funny bruise and a wonderfull prize to show to the other apprentices. "You wont feel a thing" Dreamer said as he moved his hand to hover above the wound.
In a whisper he sang,
I feel the pain you must maintain I'm here to help fix whats felt close tight and bound never to be found
It took only as matter of seconds as the bodies natural healing process was sped up and the wound closed itself, leaving no scaring. There was still a blood stain, but not a scar in sight.
"See" he said, turning his head "all better" he smiled directly into the boys face. Now with a closer view, Dreamer got the sense that he knew the person again. It took a moment before the situation started to become confusing, he thought he knew the boy in front of him, but there was only one way to find out.
"Gwyn?" he whispered silently

(((Sorry for taking so long. I have been really sick with a fever this past week and school has been busy.)))
Imriel stood with her hand holding her other arm, feeling the warm blood pulse out. At first she was squeamish, but Imriel quickly pushed that from her mind. As a soldier she could not be squeamish about blood. She would probably suffer from other wounds. By the time she finally reached knighthood and beyond she would probably have many scars. She doubted that as a woman a man would ever want to marry her after that. Women did not usually have major scars.
Suddenly a young man came up and offered to take care of her. Imriel took a deep breath as he put on hand on her other shoulder. She slowly turned to him and removed her hand to let him inspect. Suddenly he had his hands hovering over her wound and she realized that he was using magic. Imriel did not have very much experience with magic so she felt a little giddy.
Once he was done, Imriel looked down at her arm and stared in disbelief. There was no scar! Part of her was thrilled, though the other part had hoped for a scar. She did not know why and dropped the thought immediately.
"Thank you sir," she said with a huge smile. Suddenly her expression changed when the boy looked at her and mouthed her name, her true name, silently. She then looked at him, trying to see how he could know her name.
"Romi?" she said quietly back.

Dreamers happiness burst threw his confusion for a moment as Imriel, Gwyn, spoke his nickname. Note, it was a name he had not hear in years, since the last time he had seen Imriel. Dreamer opened his arms and embraced the girl, squeezing the life out of her. "I missed you" he said, smiling.
After the hug, Dreamer pulled away and kept smiling, but his eyes spoke volumes. You have alot of explaining to do miss Gwyn they said. Dreamer kept calm though, not wanting to attract anymore attention then he already had. "I'm starting to grow tired from all of the work, would you like to find someplace and catch up on old times?". Dreamer kept it calm, obviously she was keeping a secret, so he was keeping it until further notice. To any watching, it was exactly as it was, just two old friends seeing each other again for the first time and catching up.
