Kaylee stood outside the Black Bear Tavern. Her black cloak hang tightly against her body. It blocked out the chilled spring breeze as she rode her horse from her home to the tavern. She needed to get out of her stuffy home, away from her parents. The hood of the cloak was up, covering her head and placing a dark shadow over her face. A single strand of blond hair rest against her pale cheek. Her light eyes glowed in the new day light. The sun slowly was making its way into the brightening sky. Scanning the deserted street once and patting her horse's nose, Kaylee reached out with a black gloved hand and pushed the tavern door open.
Slipping inside, she reached up and pulled her hood off. Her brown boots flashed from under her cloak with each step she took. Scanning the almost empty room, she sat down at one of the empty tables. Loosening her cloak, she exposed her very unladylike outfit. Tucked into her brown boots where a pair of black legging like pants. Over those was a longish white shirt that hugged the corset she wore under it. Around the white shirt was a large black belt.
Moving her gloved hand, she becked one of the serving maids over. Once she had ordered and paid with her coin, she sat silently, her hands folded on the table. She got a few glaces from the few other tavern goers. She glared when ever she caught them looking. Once she got her ale, her hands unfolded and she brought the mug up to her lips. Once she had taken a large gulp, she set the mug down. Looking around the tavern, she waited to see if any of them would approach her.

As Elizabeth slipped in the door of the warm tavern, she could only really think about one thing. How damn busy she was lately. And while it was at least work she enjoyed, it was still a lot of work. Between training for the Army and managing all of the expansive stables, down time had become something of a rarity. So now, while her day had wound down to a much slower pace, Elizabeth took the opportunity to get a little time to unwind.
Dressed now in her long leather jacket, the black leather cut close to her frame and draped down to the back of her caves, Elizabeth made her way lightly over to the bar. After ordering a pint, she waited at the bar until it was served to her.
As she stood there and tried to decide what to do next to fill her free time this evening, the door behind her opened, and Elizabeth half turned to see the new arrival. A young girl walked in a found a table, ordering a drink without much delay. Making a snap decision, she picked up her drink and walked the few strides over to the table, seating herself across from the new arrival.
"Don't think I've seen you around here before, " she said lightly, taking a sip of her drink. Elizabeth's green eyes glinted with mischievousness as she looked steadily at the young woman.

Kaylee watched the girl approach her. She was surprised that anyone at all would really. She studied her as she sat. Her gloved hands closed around her mug and take another hefty drink as she listened to her talk. Well i've never seen you here either. Either you don't come here often, or we always miss each other. she said. Grabbing the mug again, she quickly downed the rest of the horrid drink. Coughing slightly, she motioned for another one. Once she had gotten the drink, she spoke again. The name's Kaylee. Kaylee Talbot. taking another gulp, she continued. And you might be? Her eyes scanned the room once more. She made eye contact with every person that she could. Once she had finished with that, her gaze returned to the girl.
What might a person like you be doing way out here? She seamed to fancy to be a servant or a low. She was probably a high up peasant or a noble. Even though she was one, Kaylee hated nobles. She'd rather spend her days down here with the 'rif rath' of Camelot, as her mother put it. Reaching towards her forehead, Kaylee smoothed her hair back and wiped some of the grime from her skin. Sighing, she took once more sip from her drink while waiting for the girl to talk.
OoC: Sorry it took so long. I normally don't take this long to reply. Also, sorry for the shortness. D:

"No no," Elizabeth said lightly, shaking her head. "You've never seen me, because I'm not from here. Besides, someone like me tends to be remembered... " the end of her sentence trailed off a bit, as a few memories boiled to the surface of her mind. A little glazed look came across her eye for a moment before she came back to the present. Shaking her head, she muttered almost incoherently about 'wasn't my bloody fault the barn caught on fire' before looking back over at the girl.
"Elizabeth Severn," she said shortly, endeavoring to move on. Who she was didn't need to be advertised in this part of town, but avoiding the question would be far more obvious. So she simply settled with trying to steer the subject elsewhere. "Brilliant to meet you Kaylee." she said with a wane little grin, and then took a deep drink from her mug.
One quizzical eyebrow raised, a Elizabeth's voice was playful and almost teasing. "'A person like me'? now what exactly might you mean by that? after all, I might very well not be who you think i am. but, I could be exactly the person you expect." Elizabeth tilted her head to the side slightly, letting an errant light dance through her eyes. "But who, miss Talbot, do you think I am?"
