Quests

Hello guys,

I'm just interested in your opinions on this, because so far no one has seemed too keen...

I know i have only posted 2 quests, but the second one sat there for a while with no one willing to take it on.

If people really like this idea but feel it could be improved please let me know as I like it but want it to be used by everyone.

I think the Quests are a great idea! It gives people the opportunity to RP with different people on the site which they may not have encountered before and gives them an idea and a base to work on for their RP thread.

I was just thinking maybe it would be a good idea to open it up to all classes on the site, not just Soldiers and Mages etc... to give them a chance to get involved too. But other than that I love it and can't wait to join a Quest myself xD

i voted the second choice, which is pretty much what Tristan said. guild and army members already have training posts to do, so I think it'd only be fair if everyone else had something to do (I'm not sure "Fair" is the word to use, but I'm sort of brain farting.)

I think the amount of activity the quests get depends on whether or not people have threads going, too. Most people who are active here have a couple of threads. So while the Quests may be getting ignored, at least this site is still poppin'.

I personally -adore- the quests. It's fun and unusual and I've not seen anything like this before. I can't wait to join one myself and would have joined the current one, except I don't have a character to join with! If you opened them up to everyone (or maybe had two playing off each other - one with factions and one without?) I would be definitely keen!!!

I personally like them how they are. I would say that maybe instead of opening quests for everybody you could make quests that are specifically for the non-members. Just cause it wouldn't make sense for a peasant to go on a quest unless it involved him.

So far it does seem like opening them to everyone would be a good idea...i think having two separate ones might make it too complicated seeing as they'd be virtually the same thing...but i'm quite happy to open them up to everyone.

I'll keep the poll open until the weekend, then go from there.
