Name: Isabelle Marrie Langley
Age: Forty-Two
Sex: Female
Class: Nobility
Appearance: [Nicole Kidman] Isabelle is considered a fairly attractive woman. She is tall standing at 5'10" and is fairly slim at 120 pounds. She is statuesque and her height is somewhat intimidating not only to others but to herself as well. She is rather ethereal looking, she has light blonde hair that flows down her back like a waterfall. It is either done up in some fancy up do or completely down. Normally she just leaves it down. Her skin is very pale but she has a bit of a natural blush to her cheeks. Her eyes are her best feature. They are a pure icy blue, they are piercing and a bit sad looking. Her eyes aren't a muddled color like many who have blue eyes they are instead clear and vividly blue. She has a wide array of pretty dresses and likes to present herself well, she believes that appearance is everything. Although, when one looks at her they generally are captivated sometimes she can appear harsh. Her brows are arched in a high way, and sometimes she can appear really nasty when in reality she isn't.
Character: Isabelle Langley is no question a very smart woman. She would rather spend her days reading and learning new things opposed to going to parties or balls, and if she wasn't nobility she would. Gossip is something she avoids as it only results in trouble. She is extremely compassionate and caring. She has a rather motherly disposition and cares about absolutely everybody. She is somewhat easy to get along with but she is wise therefore her words of wisdom and insight is something one can't escape.
She has a thirst for learning and soaks up information like a sponge. One can never learn too much. She likes a good debate and likes learning point of views from others but generally she is faithful to the king but just like everyone she disagrees every so often. She is confident in herself and about her actions after all confidence is something that is important especially if you are a voice of reason. She is by no means cocky nor is she arrogant. She is a soft spoken woman and has a gentle and calm voice. Her voice matches her gentle and calm personality.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Music is somewhat of a strength to her, she has been playing the harpsichord and singing since a young age. It is a way for her to get in touch with her inner self, it keeps her head on the right way and lets her maintain a tranquil disposition. She picked up a silver tongue from watching her parents on occasion. She is very coercive and extremely persuasive, she will only use these two traits as a last resort. Something she learned herself was wisdom. She is extremely wise and is a voice of reason. Wisdom is her biggest strength. She thinks things through and never acts on whim.
Along with strengths there are always weaknesses. Isabelle has plenty of illustrious strengths but she's only human therefore she has plenty of flaws as well. She has an issue with letting go and tends to latch on to people. This goes hand in hand with the death of her parents. After she lost them she didn't want to loose anyone else. She knows latching on isn't the wisest thing to do but it is something she can't help. Isabelle has never been extremely athletic and can't fight to save her life...literally. She has never picked up a sword in her life not has she even attempted archery.
Magic: None that she knows of.
Weaponry Skills: She has no skill in fighting whatsoever. If she's ever in a problem her wise disposition and silver tongue is her main weapon but other than that she can't wield a sword or shoot a bow.
Character History: Isabelle Langley was born into the rather illustrious family of the Langley's. The Langley family tree is made up of nobility and diplomacy. Isabelle parents Ada and Nicholas Langley were both skilled diplomats in the King's court before their unfortunate passing away. As a young girl Isabelle was raised in the castle and barely ever saw her busy parents. She was taught etiquette along with music from an early age, it was her parent's orders they wanted their daughter to be perfectly educated.
For a large majority of her life she was raised by a servant opposed to her own parents. On a rare day her father would tuck her in and tell her stories or her mother teach her to sew. It was rare but something the young girl looked forward to. Her parents were both killed by a grueling plague when she was a young girl leaving her completely alone. Her childhood is something of a distant past, she doesn't recall much from it and refuses to even bring forth the memories.
For the rest of her life she lived in the castle. Her parents were well respected and many weren't going to send their only daughter to the orphanage. She was a rather quiet girl, she rarely ever talked and if she did it was something that was well thought out. She wasn't really shy she was just soft spoken and only said things when it was necessary to speak. She was different from some of the other nobility. She developed a compassionate eye as well as a wise brain. She was not stuck up possibly due to the fact she lost her parents.
As she grew older she had a new hunger for learning. She was a smart girl and caught on fast, definitely a Langley. Although she never was adapt at fighting she learned to have a witty silver tongue to get her out of problems. She is a voice of reason and has common sense, something that is much needed at times. Politically she would never rebel against the King especially considering her position but along with that sometimes she thinks he is too quick on decisions.

Sample Roleplay:
It was her first week in Gotham city, well not really her first week after all she recalled the streets as a young girl. It was a different perspective though, having seen the streets through the eyes of a child the last she walked them, those memories were lost to her. When she moved from Gotham she never thought she would ever walk the city again. She learned the streets of London she knew the streets of London like the back of her hand. She could tell anyone where the best theaters were, the pretties theaters, what musical to see and what musicals to avoid, she knew the best restaurants and her favorite places to shop. Here right now she was lucky if she could find a simple burger shop without getting lost. She had bought the house she had grow up in ironically enough. It was unchanged the rooms were the same the piano they had left behind was still there, bringing back startling memories of her own.
The first few nights in the house was not as startling as she thought it was going to be after all she was very used to it. It was like an old friend, or a long lost relative. She felt safe and like she belonged there. Gotham was where she belonged she may have had the funny accent and the impressive career of music but she was dissatisfied with her previous life. It was quite disappointing when the dream you've had since the age of 5 was not what you thought. It was quite depressing actually. The first week was simply getting things adjusted and unpacked, she didn't even start work for another week. She couldn't believe she had gone from the star of London productions to a simple music teacher it was taking one extreme to another.
Natalie was pretty much reclusive for the first part of the week, tired from the time difference and tired from studying various maps and such but today would be different. She had tickets to an opera, it was like heaven for her. Opera was something she had attended on a regular basis just like Broadway shows. It was her favorite genre under Show Tunes, Classical Music, and Jazz. She admitted it could be hard on the ears sometimes but when she was in the mood for opera she was in the mood. Opera singers had so much talent not the kind she had, she couldn't reach those high notes even if her life was on the line. She had tried a class in college it was horrible she preferred the Broadway style on her voice like everyone else in the world.
She was wearing her normal attire, a black pencil skirt, a nice silk blouse and a suit jacket. She always looked the same--well not the same but classy. She had had her fair share of costume changes and extensive makeovers every second that part of her life was over. It had taken her a long time to find this Opera House, it was bad enough she couldn't find anywhere to eat for lunch she ended up going without and she was really hungry too. The frantic part was over now she could just relax. She entered the Opera House after having finally finding it she handed her ticket and entered admiring the architecture. It wasn't like some of the theaters in London but it was nice. She looked for her seat apologizing to anyone she bumped. Finally she found it and took a seat sighing heavily looking at the person seated beside her.
She smiled, he was an attractive man and he looked strangely familiar. Did she know him? No that was impossible she didn't know anyone here after all she had been hated when she was a young girl only one person had bothered to befriend her--Bruce was that his name? She crossed her legs and cleared her throat. Before turning her attention to this strangely familiar man. "I love this opera." She said trying to start some sort of small talk, her British accent thick as paste.
