Name: Evangeline Scott ("Eva")
Age: 21
Sex: Female
Appearance: It is hard to assess whether or not Evangeline is beautiful. On the one hand, her skin is porcelain, her cheeks rosy, her eyes wide, violet, and heavily lashed. Her mouth is wide and red, and everything arches elegantly. She also has a lot of wispy blond hair that flys down her back, usually worn with a little gold band around her head. She dresses beautifully, lots of whites and lilacs and golds, and her body is enviably slender-waisted and curvy-figured. Overall, her appearance is etheral, almost other-worldly.
However, it seems to be on balance almost too perfect, almost doll-like, in a way which would make you want to look at her but not touch. It can put people off, because she is a little unnerving to look at, and people don't know how to react to her. In the same way as you can dislike a picture of a person because it it just too unreal, too unhuman, this is often the reaction people have to her.
Character: Eva is very free-spirited; her upbringing has made her care free, reckless, and irresponsible, but her nature is basely good. Very much the extrovert, she is talkative, optimistic, and loves to dance and ride. She is also very fond of archery, and is attracted to anyone who is good at physical things. Unintelligent, she is not interested in least in reading or meaningful discussion. She is not exactly egocentric, but she is definitely hedonistic by nature. She is, as you might expect of someone whose major asset is their beauty, quite vain, and her self-confidence is rooted in other people's approval of her. Consequently she is prone to being quite envious of others, and easily falls for hollow flattery.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Strengths: Her appearance; her enthusiasm; her riding and archery skills.
Weaknesses: her vanity; her envious/insecure nature; her lack of intelligence; lack of physical/magical strength.
Magic: I haven't quite worked out if she's magical or not yet. If she is, I promise not to go down the OHMYGOD IT TURN'S OUT SHE'S ACTUALLY MERLIN'S SISTER AND THEMOST POWERFUL SORCERESS EVERRRRRR route Probably she might just be interested in showy magic, little tricks and so on.
Weaponary Skills: She doesn't really have any. She keeps reasonably fit (although a bit of a run would probably see her sideways) from riding and she can use a bow and arrow, but that is more the play thing of the rich, use on hunts and targets and so on.
Character History: Evangeline's past is caught somewhere between tragic and idyllic. Her parents were rich enough to give her a wonderful childhood, everything a child could dream for and freedom from the shackles of peasanthood. However, as is typical of aristocratic households Eva was largely raised by a nurse and saw little of either of her parents, who were too busy being caught up respectively in the higher politics of the kingdom, and of the social web spun around the castle.
At the age of eleven she was sent to live at the castle for the vast majority of the year, where people tried to teach her to sew and paint and sing, but unfortunately Eva was far more interested in people, and would spend her time chattering away rather than paying attention to what she was beng taught. Although her parents were sent many an accusing letter, her father took no interest in it, being too busy trying to sort out her retrogade brother, and her mother was simply delighted she had made so many friends.
She spends her days now as she always has done, flitting about the castle and eagerly meeting all of the visitors there. She might grow bored at some point and head off travelling, but at the moment she has no need to do so and enjoys her time being a social butterfly.
Additional Information: I know that rich characters are limited, but I feel that wealth is really required for her character (<---That face is my attempt at charming you)

Imogen wrung the water out of her hair, watching the drops spatter to the ground and then flinging her head back and raking her fingers through her tangled red locks. It was a long time since she had last been swimming, and, to be frank, she missed it. Wiping the salt from her eyes and yawning sleepily, she gazed out across the ocean, silently admiring the great white sails of the ships gliding over the water like swans on a lake. How long had it been since she’d last had the time to just wander down to the shore and dive in? Weeks at the least she was sure.
The fading light cast everything in a soft glow and brightened Imogen’s mood, transforming jagged rocks into soft pillows, the harsh cries of seagulls into gentle song, the cold of the breaking wind into a refreshing breeze. The girl sighed dreamily, and smiled broadly as she turned to wander back to the outskirts of Agrycand where her mother was waiting –
“Imogen!” Karen barked, striding down the beach towards her daughter, each footstep like a roll of thunder. "Where have you been?”
“Where do you think?” Imogen grinned, shrugging her wet shoulders and gesturing to her dripping hair.
“I’ll be having less cheek from you little madam!” Her Mother said, arching an eyebrow and giving her daughter a reprimanding slap on the arm.
Rubbing where she was certain she was going to bruise – her mother could hit hard – Imogen looked ruefully at her Mother. “Karen,” she said, addressing her mother by her first name as she usually did, “It’s my day off. I’m enjoying it… Don’t you remember how often we used to go swimming together?”
Karen’s face softened as she recollected the long days she had spent with Imogen as a child. Stealing one last longing look at the waves just lapping at her feet, she reluctantly dragged herself away from the tempting water. “Come on then Imi.” She sighed. “I’ve got to get to work… Let’s go.”
