OOC: Merlin said it was ok for me to take part here
The city of Camelot was just as beautiful as ever. Its citizens were busy enjoying their lives in peace and tranquillity; all was well in the great city. Even Castle Camelot was stood proud and tall like a giant throne looking down over the people and their homes, deep within the castle itself everything was just as busy as ever. The castle maids and servants went to work preparing rooms, cleaning, making some delicious foods and bringing water and wine. Amongst them was Selena Fireheart, after fulfilling her promise to King Uther she kept her part of the promise and was working none stop to make up for lost time.
But it was time well spent. After many days and weeks of hard training she had finally mastered her powers and thanks to her friend Merlin she was now a Mage of the Mages Guild, it was the highest rank in the guild and she felt proud of her accomplishments. She was even enjoying the work that she had been given and was putting one hundred percent into it with everything she had, she felt really glad to be back and at work!
After gathering some fresh fruit and vegetables from the town market she sighed in complete happiness and headed back to the castle. Finally after several hard working assignments she had caught up with her workload and gently she headed back into the castle and headed towards the kitchen area of the castle. Selena finally felt as though she was getting used to the many different areas of the castle and she worked just like any other loyal servant to King Uther and worked without question, and she was more then happy to fulfil her duty to King Uther.
With many chores down within the castle Selena headed back to the Servants quarters. As she opened the door she noticed a small parchment on her bed, picking it up she read it that indicated that she was allowed to enter the Mages tower in a place called Avalon. She wondered about the Mages tower and so decided to visit the tower with permission of course, thankfully she was given permission to visit the town of Avalon and seek out the Mages tower.
To prepare for the journey ahead she gathered some necessary supplies and soon headed out of the castle towards the stables. A few minutes later she was guiding one of the castles finest horses out of the castle and down threw the city itself. Instead of wearing one of her full-length dresses she wore a silver tunic, brown trousers, black soft boots and of course her full-length cloak that sat easily around her shoulders and body.
As she headed just outside of Camelot she jumped onto the horse. But there was one problem was Avalon? Despite this setback Selena simply smiled, she had mastered her powers so why not ask Nature herself? Looking upwards towards the heavens she called out" O Sacred might of the Heavens please I ask of you! Guide me to the place I seek!” Storm clouds approached the city of Camelot and the mighty powers of lightning and thunder struck the air in response.
With a smile she watched as a thunderbolt pointed its sparkly end towards the direction that Selena required for her journey towards Avalon. Placing a warm smile of thanks on her face she looked up towards the darkened skies and said "Thank you!” And in an instant Selena went at full gallop towards the direction of Avalon while the storm clouds disappeared leaving the bright blue sky and white clouds in its wake.
Hours went by and at last she saw Avalon in the distance. But as she grew closer she heard the screams of fear and anguish, gasping she narrowed her eyes and urged her horse to move faster. Upon entering the town she had saw something which was truly terrifying, the dead was walking amongst the living! Skeletons and the undead terrorised the town with their evil and screams were still being heard as the town’s folks suddenly headed towards one direction.
It was truly a horror to behold. In the distant she saw the Mages stone tower but she could see that something was terribly wrong, as she gazed about the destruction words came into her mind as she remembered the wisdom of Vergas" My child you are more of your father then you realise". As the words filled her mind Selena quickly dismounted, threw off her long cloak and ran as fast as she could into Avalon itself.
Who would dare call upon the dead and attack the town. With her eyes narrowed and a look of pure anger Selena ran forwards without fear, as she did the power of lightning and thunder coursed threw her body like two twin snakes coiling throughout her entire body. As she ran towards the mages tower she said,” Sacred swords of the Heavens please lend me your strength". Storm clouds began to form high above the town of Avalon, as though the Heavens themselves were angry.
Thunder and Lightning struck the sky as though the loud crashes were like a war cry of battle. As she approached the undead horde Selena held out her arm towards them. There using the co-operation of both her magic and the power of nature the bolt of pure lightning flashed in the sky above and threw itself straight into the centre of the undead army with Avalon hoping the powerful lightning bolt would do them great damage.
Then using another spell Selena's body again conducted lightning and thunder. But this time she used a spell to increase her speed to have lightning fast reflexes and speed, there she dodged threw the undead and headed straight towards the Tower.

Keleth had watch his magic begin to spread through the town and the tower. He could hear the screams of the towns folk's fear and panic. The day was young and the sound had already made it clear that it was indeed a great start to victory. Keleth could feel his heart beat move faster and faster as time passed by. As he sprinted toward the tower he notice Chase and then two twin wizards appeared from the tower. Though Chase appeared and the vanished with his teleporting magic. Leaving the twins to take care of him no doubt.
Keleth had to take care of these two wizards in order to make his way into the tower to find merlin, to kill him, or at least finish off the tower. Keleth felt his body go numb, everything around him began to move in slow motion. He could hear the small screams coming from all directions, but Keleth kept his focus on the two twins. Slowly Keleth reached for both of his hands toward his back brought forth his two duel wind blades. The blades had almost like two blades in one, though the middle of the sword was empty. The steel blade had two sharp ends to it instead of one full blade. Gripping the sword he felt a rush of energy run through his body as he began to run toward the twins.
(my profile has a picture of my blades, i tried to do the best i could to describe them lol)
As Keleth ran toward the two he began to mutter something amongst his breath, "Power of the dead, shine your skill upon my might." out came the words of enchantment. The ground began to shake and soon a light burst through the ground before the twins as it went toward Keleth. Entering Keleth he could feel the strength of the dead that were once living. "Ah La Ka La, fey me te do, sho the mite." Keleth shouted toward the twin wizards. Keleth had no idea what he was saying but he could feel the dead giving him the magic they had lost the use of when they died. A burst of flame began to be created forming around the two twins like a snake. The flames soon rose high and created a circle around them and increased its heat and grew hotter. Keleth jumped through the towering flame which opened a small circle so that Keleth wouldn't get hit by his own flame released his swords and sliced the twin on the left. A screaming boy fell to the ground as his brother grew in rage and sent a bolt of lightning toward Keleth.
Placing Keleth's sword on his own back he jumped to the ground to dodge the lightning bolt. "Brother....you killed my brother....you will pay!" The younger twin shouted in rage toward Keleth and soon began to muttered words toward Keleth. A burst of water was forming into a wolf and went straight toward Keleth. Keleth took a deep breath and lifted his hands in the air and grabbed control of the fire and threw his hands in a cross formation against his chest. The fire that surrounded Keleth and the twin wizard had soon moved with immense speed in front of Keleth as a giant cobra and battled the wolf of water.
Keleth could feel the power of the dead as he began to focus more on the fire as it attacked the water. Though time was at its end when Keleth could feel his spell wearing off and knew that he needed to finish off this twin before Keleth gets himself killed. The twin was indeed focused and in rage all he cared was that Keleth was dead and yet that was his down fall. The twin had pay attention to the cobra and not Keleth, "Thy way sha say ve te da!" Keleth spoke as vines from the ground busted below the twin grasping his legs and soon grabbing him with great force. The vines had pushed the twin down to the ground and began to drain the boy of its breath and life to death as more vines wrapped around the body and neck.
Above on the tower there Rose watched as Chase appeared and sent a blast of darkness toward her. Smiling she raise her hand to a stop and the shadows stopped in mid flight seconds away from cutting Rose in half. With one snap she sent them straight toward Chase. "Chase, let us choose who you will save!" Rose spoke with a smirk a cross her face as she rose her hands into the air. Dark clouds soon clouded the tower and town. A dark pulse of energy was sent down from the sky and was sent down toward the tower, while rose smiled she jumped off the tower and went down to fetch Keleth to enter the tower from the bottom.
Near the town the battle had begun with the undead and the fallen comrades. Sounds of weapons hitting one another could be heard all across the field, shouts from the undead grew louder as they began their rent less attack. Few undead, surrounded the wizard named Dreamer. One soldier with a sword and shield, one soldier with a bow, and one wizard with a staff.
The battle had felt like in had been going on for hours yet it was only been maybe an hour. A young girl appeared and sent a blast of lightning from the sky to tear apart the undead. Several groups of the undead were hit and burned from the volts of lightning. This had only made the undead rally more as screams and shouts began to rise and the rage of the undead pursued more pushing the townspeople away. Two undead corned lady Morgana who both had two swords in each hand and carefully charged at her.
(Sorry for the long deleay.....well I'm back and hope this was good enough for you all, and that it will make you all come back and finish this battle.)

Chase cursed as Rose stopped his attack and sent it back at him. He easily avoided the attack but could see that the twins were having troubles down on the ground. The older one was down although Chase could still feel his magic so he was still alive, if barely. If he got healing soon enough he would survive. Unfortunately Keleth had managed to trap the younger one with some sort of vine-like spell. Unless someone interfered it was obvious that the two siblings would die.
Chase considered helping them but he had his hands full with Rose. He felt confident he could beat her but it would take time that he didn't have.
Rose shot a spell at the tower and then jumped down to enter the tower with Keleth. Chase shouted "Rhoi'r gorau i dywyllwch a lledaenu ledled yr ardal" To block it. The spell first blocked Rose's spell and then used both the spells power to make the area around the base of the tower totally dark. That should throw Rose and Keleth off. Ironically enough darkness was most effective against other black magic users. All the other forms of magic had ways to counter it.
"Sul raama" Chase continued. This spell allowed him to navigate through the darkness by using the wind to 'feel' things for him. It wasn't perfect but he could get the general outline of things.
Now to launch his counterattack. First for Rose, "Sul thoron naara" He chanted sending a wind of scorching air at her. Even a light brush of the air would brutally burn anybody it touched. Also it would be hard to block since it consisted of only air so she wouldn't even know it was coming. Next for Keleth "tywyllwch chi lyncu" He chanted. This spell would cause spears of darkness to rise up from the ground and skewer Keleth.
Chase waited to see how his spells worked breathing heavily. Fighting both Rose and Keleth was taking a lot out of him and the battle had barely started. Still hopefully Keleth would be tired enough from all his previous spells not to put up to much of a fight. If of course the two of them survived Chase's attacks.

The area all around the tower and surroundings grew dark with pure darkness, nothing to be seen but black. A fimilar voice appeared next to him, "Keleth focus, let us go into the tower!" Rose spoke as she began to walk straight toward the tower hoping she was heading the right way. Rose stopped, "Wait stop!" she spoke as she felt a source of magic being formed. A Blast of air came straight toward Rose. Rose released a shield of magic that formed around herself but the blast had still sent her backwards leaving Keleth for the time being.
"Keleth, watch, spears!" A inner voice spoke in Keleth mind. Keleth immieditly toward the right of him as spears of darkness came up from the ground and almost had took keleth's life away. Chase. Was all Keleth could think of. It had to be him Keleth thought to himself. "Focus!" The voice in his head spoke again. Keleth looked up and raised his hand, "Ty chi ve ladewalen" words flowed from Keleth's mouth. A burst of red light erupted from Keleth hands as it lit a path to the tower. Getting back on his knees he sprinted toward the tower, "Chase show yourself!" Keleth shouted as he pointed his hands toward the tower and sent a wave of dark flames toward the tower to destory the tower.

Post by Lady Morgana le Fey on Sept 27, 2010 22:53:32 GMT
All around her things were wildly out of control. One of the dark mages had summoned an army of the dead, there were lightening strikes being sent to towards the mages tower, buildings were being turned into kindling and men, women and children were being murdered. Lady Morgana and the men took to ushering the townsfolk out of the town and into the nearby caves. "Come now, move quickly..." Morgana saw a young child standing in the middle of the road looking very lost. If the child were to be left to her own devices she would surely die. Morgana was the closest one to her and knowing she was taking her own life into her hands, without a second thought she ran over to where the child was and scooped her into her arms. "Come now my love, You need to get out of the streets...." Morgana ran with the child back to where the townsfolk were leaving town.
Chaos still roamed wild and Morgana handed the child off to a nearby woman. "Take her with you, and be safe." The woman curtsied and then took the young child from her arms and ran off with her. Morgana turned back to face the town and saw that two of the undead soldiers had broken away from crowd and were moving towards her. While she had a sword, somehow she doubted that they would work against those creatures.
What was she to do? Morgana wished dearly to know what to do in this situation. The only thing she knew was that magic had created the army of undead and she suspected that it would require magic to destroy them. She looked around and noted that all the Mages were busy with other areas of the town/tower and the Knight who had accompanied her was engaged with trying to defend her against another enemy as well as get the townsfolk to safety so he was unable to help. "Lady Morgana, get yourself out of here before they get to you." Morgana shook her head no and looked at the two undead soldiers running towards her. She quickly offered up a prayer towards whichever higher authority would protect her in this moment. One of the buildings nearby she saw a lit torch. Morgana grabbed the lit torch and held it out towards the creatures. "Come any closer and you will burn forever in hell"
The two soldiers looked at each other then looked back at her and laughed. The laugh that came out was certainly unholy. Morgana gained whatever courage she could and took up a fighting stance. Although she had a fear of King Uther's response to her having a lifetime of magic, she suddenly wished for once that she had fully embraced her magical gifts. So far she had been 'plagued' with visions and had once unknowingly set her room on fire. Morgana held the torch in one hand and her sword in the other and focused on the torch willing it to come to her aid and burn the undead soldiers. Suddenly as if responded to her plea, and certainly just in the nick of time as they were practically infront of her, the torch leapt to life and consumed the two men. For anyone who did not know Morgana's situation they could say that she miraculously had managed to get the torch in the right spot for them to catch fire, but she knew it was more than that. As they crumbled to the ground at her feet she was overwhelmed by a very severe headache and knew she only had a moment or two before she collapsed.
Morgana signalled for Sir Walter, the knight who had accompanied her and managed to fend off some of the undead army as well and though her headached she told him they needed to leave. Before she could take one step in the direction the townsfolk had run, Morgana collapsed to the ground.

Dreamer saw the three of them approach him, his first three opponents. It appeared that the mage who summoned the undead, they weren't simply mindless beings intent on killing. They could wield both weaponry and magic to kill their opponent, the mage must have been powerful indeed.
His first three opponents consisted of two soldiers, one wielding the basic blade and a round shield, the other with a bow and quiver of arrows. The third held no weapons, but dreamer could infer that he was an undead, he wielded a cliche' staff.
The first to charge was the blade wielder, and Dreamer waited for him. The soldier raised his blade and made a vertical slash towards Dreamer as he neared. Dreamer used one arm to bat the arm aside and the other he brought up to slash the armpit. Then he spun so he would be behind the warrior, and stabbed him in the back. Grabbing his neck and holding onto the blade, Dreamer turned the soldier around to face the mage and the archer.
Only just in time! The arrow intended to strike Dreamer in the back, ended up deep into the chest of the warrior. Dreamer smiled as he took his free blade and slit the throat of the warrior, letting him fall. One down, two targets to go. The mage joined the action by aiming the staff and caste a spell towards Dreamer. A bold of dark energy made its way towards Dreamer.
"Dominate, Control, take this power for my own..."
Dreamer extended his hand and caught the bolt of dark energy in his bare hand. The magic began to turn change into a grey flame that seemed to consume Dreamers hand. Dreamer brought his other hand quickly to the magic, and drew some to consume the other hand. With it, Dreamer waved the magic back at his opponent. It was faster, deadlier, his enemies had no chance as the two flames tore up the ground beneath them as they descended upon their targets.
When they struck, the two undead enemies simply dropped, there was no apparent damage aside from the fact that they weren't moving. As Dreamer turned back to the battle, the weapons that his enemies had been carrying simply lifted themselves up and joined the battle against the scourge.
Off to the edge of his sight, Dreamer saw a glimpse of two figures being consumed by flame in an instant. Turning his head, Dreamer saw that he was correct, and beside them was a collapsed woman. Dreamer gritted his teeth and made his way around the battle, having to dodge and slash to push himself through the battle. He finally arrived to find a collapsed form of Morgana, the women he had seen before.
"Shit" he said, he holstered a blade and set the other aside as he checked her pulse and found that she was still alive, simply exhausted. Dreamer drew in he breath before pushing his magic, his light magic, into her.
"Give her energy, Giver her heart, Give her a chance, to do her part"
Dreamer sang his spell as quickly as he could, and rushed his magic forward into Morgana. He admitted, he may have given her too much energy, but he didn't like being in the open for an enemy attack. Dreamer gripped his blade, the one he had placed down, again and held it tightly so he could wait for the woman to respond. He needed to help the people around him, but he couldn't leave the women alone.
"Get away from her ye fiend!" Dreamer heard, and instinctively moved so he could bat away the blade headed toward his head with his own. He then drew his other blade to point at the mans stomach. Dreamer saw that it was the knight that had accompanied the lady he was with now, he was just a little tired as well, with much more blood on his armor. "I'm your ally you fool!!" Dreamer shouted, surprising the man, who looked like he had swallowed salt.

Chase watched as once again Keleth managed to evade his trap. Chase was starting to get tired of having to defend the tower. Still he refused to let the knowledge inside of it fall into Keleth's hands. If anyone was going to steal some books it would be him. The Brotherhood didn't deserve such powerful knowledge.
Chase sighed as he once more summoned his energy and chanted, "Trowch i'r dim niwed dywyllwch" He had saved his energy and instead of outright blocking the wave he had merely diverted it slightly so it wouldn't damage the tower. Still he was getting tired from this constant fighting. He would end this now with his counterattack.
"Delweddau o ofn lledaenu cyn i chi" Chase murmured under his breath. Keleth might have managed to negate his darkness but what would he do against this illusion. Keleth would be seeing the world as it would be if his inner demon was in control. While Keleth was dealing with that Chase prepared another surprise for him, "Sul gurtha naur naara du swigen" He gasped as the energy flowed out of him. It was a three part spell that took up most of his remaining energy. First the wind instantly picked up into a gale that tore up the very earth around Keleth flinging the tiny stone into him at incredible speed. The second part of Chase's spell took and effect a split second later and a huge fireball shot towards Keleth. However impressive though the first two attacks were they were part of his standard repertoire. Now was time for the brilliant part of his attack. While Keleth was blinded by the fire and wind he would be eaten up by bubbles of darkness from the ground.
Chase sat down in exhausting watching his spell take affect. Finally Keleth was dealt with. Chase knew without a doubt that Keleth wouldn't be able to block his spell. Even when Keleth was fully rested Chase doubted he would have been able to survive it without sever wounds. With all the fighting Keleth had been doing he would not stand a chance.
What a waste. Chase could have used Keleth. Still was Keleth's own fault for not running when he could have.
