Desired Character Name: Galahad of Pelles
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Class: Training to be Knight
Appearance: Galahad is a little under 6 foot. Rather thin in size but squared in shoulders he doesn't appear to be entirely intimidating, something that tends to annoy him on occasion. But one long stare from his inquisitive blue eyes could send even a dragon to an abbey begging for forgiveness. His hair is a simple brown and his lips are a soft pink. His skin has a soft sun kissed glow from his travels. Upon his forehead is the hint of a widows peak and a small indent of a cliff in his chin.
Galahad wears simple clothing of brown leathers. Around his neck and hidden beneath the worn tunic is a leather string with a simple but elegant cross given to him by his great aunt. He values very little in material items.
Played by: Jude Law.
Character: Galahad is a peaceful soul at heart. Every death, human or creature, takes a toll on him and some perceive that to be feebleness. But that will not stop him from what has to be done and he is extremely deadly on horseback. He finds solace in his meditation.
Generally quiet and the listener in a conversation his emotions can easily be read within the pools of his blue eyes. They are never dull in expression and with one glance could send shivers down anyone's spine, for with any emotion Galahad feels it is with an extreme intensity whether it is joy, sadness, or anger. This does not mean he is a brooding dimwit either. Galahad does indeed know how to laugh despite what some people may think. In fact he has this rude, according to his aunt, habit of adding in two bit comments.
Loyal and empathic to all he knows, include King Uther, Galahad is faced with a moral issue. To Galahad, Uther is the king and Arthur is the prince, but they are not his king or prince. He fights for the Pendragon reign nevertheless with every beating of his heart and if he is to die doing so then so be it. He was raised to be respectful and well-mannered.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
Strengths
Weakness
Magic: Is indifferent to any type of magic for he was raised to respect and love everything as his own. He finds no pleasure in the persecution of those who are different.
Weaponry Skills: Galahad is an excellent horsemen. He has fantastic control of his horse and can serve in a quick combat from the back his horse while running at top speed.
Character History: Galahad was sent to live with his great aunt, a nun, until he was twenty. He ventured to Camelot because he felt he could serve some purpose to King Uther and his son, Arthur, and perhaps Camelot as well.
Mother: Elaine, daughter of Pelles
Additional Information and Requests: I am so sorry if that is a rather rubbish application. I promise I get better. *offers a plate of cookies*
Sample Roleplay:
Galahad, quiet and reverent, kept his head bowed respectfully. He embraced the silence for it was his only comfort from the sins of the world around him that he so sternly took upon himself. He allowed the death of the poor Druid man to filter through his mind and the rest of the day's events to wash away for the two hour penance he demanded of himself. For no death or suffering should be cheered upon in victory. Yet it was the way of the king and therefore the way of Camelot.
A soft hiss tore him from his meditation and with a sharp look to his left Galahad felt the pain of remorse reach his heart. A mouse, skinny and dilapidated, cowered in a corner staring up at his untimely death terrified yet utterly defiant as the golden colored cat taunted the rodent with a smug meow.
"Come now." Galahad softly said moving towards the two. Lifting the cat up into his hands he looked down at the mouse and then back at the cat once more. "You two ought to learn how to live with one another because I will tell you know now, killing one another won't stop the fact that there are hundreds more cats roaming the world and hundreds more mice crawling under it."
Moving to the door he calmly opened the door and directed the mouse out with his foot. At the smell of freedom the mouse scurried away out of sight. Placing the cat out as well Galahad lifted a brow at the annoyed look he was receiving. "Off you go. You interrupted me first remember."
