OOC: I am relatively new to the rpg world and am not the best writer out there by a long shot. I hope this isn't a problem.

Chase has brown tussled hair. He has light blue eyes that remind people of a cloudy sky with just a hint of lightning. His skin is nothing extraordinary with a couple of small freckles dotted across his face. He weighs around 150 pounds and is 5'9 feet tall. He prefers blues and grays to most colors and absolutely hates wearing orange.
Character:
Chase is a good judge of people but doesn't particularly like meeting them. He believes that many people do not deserve what they have. He is a genius and believes himself better than most people. He will use people if he thinks they will help him and above all else desires power. He is very good at calculating the probabilities of things but often ignores them anyway. He wants to become the most powerful mage in all the kingdom. He looks up to his superiors only so long as they are stronger then him and can teach him something. Once he believes they aren't useful anymore then he will move on to someone who can help him. However he does this so polity that many people never even realize they have been used by him. He enjoys proving that he is more powerful then his opponents and often seeks out challenges just to prove he can overcome them.

Magic: Elemental magic, mainly wind and water. Maybe lighting later.
Weaponry Skills: He can use a knives both in close range fighting and in throwing them.
Character History:
His father is a incredibly wealthy wine merchant who makes and transports wines between the different kingdoms. His mother died when he was born. Because his mother died and his father devoted all his time to his work Chase grew incredibly bitter as he grew up. Due to his constant moving he never made a real friend when he was a child except for people who just wanted to influence his father. No matter what he did people always compared him with his father and he was constantly overshadowed by him. Eventually he realized that the only way to outshine his father was to gain more power then him. When his father learned he had magic he was sent to Camelot to enter the mage guild. Chase was delighted at the opportunity to learn how to use his magic and gain more power. So with several of his fathers men he came to Camelot
Additional Information:
Chase's father has told all the members of his household in Camelot to obey Chase. So Chase has several guards and servants who will obey him if necessary. Also I may at some point bring in Chase's father who while technically a citizen has enough influence over the various countries he works in to be equivalent to a noble. Although his influence is actually weaker in Camelot where it is harder to bribe people.

Chase was riding over the final mountain that led to Camelot surrounded by his fathers men and a couple of wagons filled with wine casks. Chase had told his father that he wouldn't need any help but his father had refused to listen. Instead his father had insisted that while Chase was there he should strengthen the ties with the local nobility there and that to do that he would need a troop of men at his command. That was his father always looking for ways to increase his business's power.
As Chase reached the top of the mountain he saw his first view of the city that was called the most powerful one in the world. He was disappointed. Sure it looked slightly larger and nicer then most of the rest but overall it just looked like another city. He looked for the mages guild but none of the buildings stood out as a center of magic.
He called out to his fathers men "I will go on from here. You can stay with the wagons."
"But sir!" The captain protested "We have orders to make sure you are safe until you arrive at the house."
"Do you really think I will be attack right outside of the city" Chase answered "Anyway I can handle myself you'll be following me anyway to get to the house. Since my idiotic father assigned you here"
With that he spurred his horse on down the mountain towards his new future.
