Appearance: The Dark Knight is a tall imposing figure. His face is covered with strange tattoos of no known origin. He is of muscular build but is as agile as a thief. His skin is fair and is bald, but when stubble comes in it is a steely grey color. He always wears his armor, black plate mail, when in Brotherhood company and the clothes of a low when in public. His voice is low like thunder and grating like flint on steel. He speaks with a Scottish accent that is diluted with the accent of Camelot. His eyes are a cold brown color that appears to stare into your very core.

Character: He is perceived as cold and unfeeling but that is not true, he just keeps complete check over his emotions. He is known for is short temper and violent outbursts. He is very aware of others thoughts and feelings but usually doesn't care about them. He is loyal only to himself and his organization. He does have a soft spot for children though and is occasionally caught smiling in their presence. He is more sympathetic of the poor and the lows than he is of the nobles. In fact, he outright hates the nobles.
He is also quite paranoid. He has been in the business of crime for so long that he constantly looks over his shoulder to make sure that he is safe. It gets to an extreme point and he often spends hours in his private quarters alone, refusing the company of others. Due to his paranoia not a single living person can call themselves his friend.

Character History: Not much is known about his early life. Some say that he was born in Scotland and his family moved to Camelot to find prosperity but were only met with the life of a low. Others believe that he is an heir to the old monarchy and is out for revenge against the Pendragons. Another legend is that he was orphaned at a young age and grew up, his whole life devoted to crime.
Regardless of his true origins this much is known about him: He and two others started the largest criminal organization on the British Isle. He, the Black Mage, and the Grey Fox, a thief, started the Brotherhood at the beginning of Uther’s reign. They began recruiting dissenters and skilled criminals to join them. Soon after their beginning the Grey Fox was arrested and hung. The fate of the Black Mage is unknown, most believe that the Dark Knight killed him so he could have complete control of the guild.
Not much else is known about this mysterious figure, and it is unlikely that any more will be found out, The Dark Knight refuses to tell anything about his past to anyone.
