;D Xian the not-so-amicable explorer-scribe from China has been approved as a character, and she needs to start her work immediately. Overall, she would be interested in all facets of life at Camelot (so that she can observe and jot down the details)... think of her work as a proto-documentary/travel guide.
The very first plot would have to involve her first interaction with Uther (as she would need his permission to stay and observe) and the rest of the court... but she could be involved in anything She does let her condescension towards the "lesser" civilization of Camelot slip occasionally, but she is good at keeping up the pretension of being amicable... most of the time. She likes the company of commoner more than the nobles, as she finds the Camelot nobles' high opinion of themselves rather ironic and annoying.
Literally any activities you can imagine, she would want to observe while writing down furiously on her papers... even in dangerous circumstances, as she can take care of herself in such situations.
She would be awestruck by any display of genuine magic, as where she is from magic is a sleigh-of-hand tricks meant to entertain. And because she would be writing everything down in classical Chinese with some illustrations, there's no danger of her work becoming evidences in Camelot.
So, which character would like to become part of the wondrous chronicle of the "Westernmost Rainland" that will go down in Chinese history as one of the most fascinating accounts of foreign lands?
