Hello all!

Now that the site is expanding with lots of lovely active members [YAY ;D] we thought we'd make a thread asking for all of your wise opinions on the site. What would you like to see? What would you like to change? Skin? The Rules? Layout/Placement of things? Any IC boards you'd like to see added? etc.

I would really really appreciate it if you guys whacked up a setting thread. (Or if you have the information already, make it more obvious)

Is magic outlawed in this reality? What is the Botherhood's aim? Why would a person want to join the Bortherhood? What does the average joe know about the Brotherhood? Is this Magician's Guild openly known about? Does the civilisation of this site borrow from the Celts?

Really just flesh out the site setting so that we all know where the site stands. Thats all I can really think of

Hmm, site improvements. Wow, that’s a hard one x] All I can really think of is maybe adding a few more boards? Maybe having an Ealdor (Merlin’s home village?), An Armoury in the village/ blacksmith so that people can buy swords and armour and what not, you could have other kingdoms of albion like Mercia and Cenred for people to travel to? Or you could have the Caves and Balor and a forest of Balor etc. [I got all the ideas from merlin.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Locations haha x]) It’ll give more Roleplay opportunities other than that I can’t really think of anything!!

And yeah, similar to Richards point i'd quite like to know a bit more about the plot and such. Is Magic allowed in Camelot? and if it is why has Uther changed his mind about his absoloute dislike and tolerance to magic? That's it realy, I think you have pretty much everything else covered

Perhaps for a short time you could try barring any new Nobles to try and give the Brotherhood some more members. If it doesn't work thats cool but it might be worth a shot.

hi guys thanks for the suggestions!

I am pleased to say that Merlin has all the site plot and setting written up....he is just trying to find the time to get it posted i believe! so hopefully that will be up in a day or two.

New thread-wise, we made the site originally a year ago, and at the time had noooo idea of the amount of activity we would have. We agreed at the time that we would add more threads as time went on and the site expanded.
I agree that the neighbouring kingdoms would be a good idea, so once ive spoken to merlin we'll try and get those up.
Ealdor I will add to the countryside category, where Avalon is, as both are farming villages not far from Camelot and i agree we do need another place. We already have the forest of thetford, but i will change the name to Balor and also add the caves in there.

As for the blacksmith, i think we have a blacksmith in Avalon do we not? otherwise you can always invent one for the marketplace and make your own threads using it

Finally, to Dantes point about nobility. The main problem is that all the lows/brotherhood members we have have vacanted the site....we dont want to put a stop on nobles as it may put people off joining. I do agree thought that the brotherhood is a little empty, so bear with us and we will try to add that in the application somewhere.

Thanks so much for posting the setting, it makes life much easier! Dante Grixis I'm thinking about steering my girl towards the Brotherhood. I think more people will be interested now that they know what the Brotherhood is about.
