Prince Arthur took a quick look over his fathers message and smirked. He signed his name with a flourish and stalked off back to his chambers. He had no doubts he would win.

After washing and drying some fresh new clothes Selena continued her new busy life. But despite the tiresome jobs she was content and happy to do such things, she choose this life and was determined to live it fully. While being busy Selena noticed a scroll telling of a Archery competition being held in the training grounds of Castle Camelot, her eyes lit up in astonisment at the thought of a archery tournament.
She thought for a few mins but wasted little time. She gently took a fountain tip feather pin and sighed her name into the scroll to take part in the Archery competition" Selena Fireheart". Putting the pen down Selena smiled happily and quickly went back to being a loyal but busy servant of Castle Camelot.

Casalynn had heard about an Archery Competition held by the Pendragons and knew immediatly this was definatly something she wanted to participate in. As to whether her archery skills were quite up to scratch she didn't quite know, but she doubted she would win anyway. She wasn't sure who she would be up against and doubts as to if she was good enough slowly began to creep into her mind. Before she could talk herself out of it she confidently strolled over to sign up and took a quick sneaky peak at who had scribbled their names down already. Casalynn took hold of the pen and jotted her name down below the other participants. Casalynn Laymont

Richard scratched his chin as he considered the competition. There were no promises of cash rewards but perhaps participating could work in his and Grace's favor. Besides, it would make life easier if there were some rewards. Silently thanking his wife, who had taught him a little writing, Richard scrawled his name.

Morgana, upon hearing about the archery contest and knowing that she might actually have a small chance of not making an idiot of herself took the fountain pen that was lying next to the registration paper and etched her name in ink. Lady Morgana

Post by Evie Perroy on Nov 22, 2009 13:36:30 GMT
Evie wandered over to where the royal notice was pinned, looking to investigate if more wanted posters were up for members of the brotherhood. She was surprised to read about the archery competition, but also excited. Although she wasn't particularly handy with a bow, it was all good practice. Evie looked at the elegant script above her and scrunching her nose in concentration, added her name bluntly to the bottom- the only two words she knew how to write: EVIE PERROY

~Standing before the parchment. Her frozed gaze noting every letter and sentence. A competition. She wondered if one such as she had a chance in pertaking. She was confident in some of her skills, and it sounded like fun. But people....there were people, always people about.
Sure she wished to meet them, and perhaps this was the best way to do so. With a quick breath exhaled she jotted her name down. When she looked at her name it was bearly readable. As she had closed her eyes to do so. She could see noticable marking that resemable her name. ~Selphia Dek~

Agron held the corner of the scroll flat as he read the words imprinted there. With a practiced flourish and swirl he scratched his name into the parchment and returned the quill to the inkpot. He was in a fine mood for a tournament and while he found sword fighting and jousting to be more exhilarating, the subtle art of archery was not without its pleasures. One of which, he smiled as read the names, was the opportunity to contest with the many number of women who had signed up. It would be an honour indeed to join the Lady Morgana in competition and he knew the ribbing and teasing that was likely to go on among the knights should any of them be defeated by a girl. The whole spectacle promised to be highly entertaining. Then of course there was the honour to be upheld. It was a chance to prove that Camelot boasted the finest archers of the realm. Agron wondered if his uncle would be sending any knights from Mercia to try their hand against the great Arthur Pendragon. He wouldn’t be surprised and it would be nice to see some of the boys from his childhood again, to find out the kind of men they’d grown up into in his absence. Agron of Deira

Uther's guard briefly glanced at the names written on the parchment before removing it and rolling it tightly in his fist. The King would be pleased.
