The jetty is commonly known as being the best place on the river to fish from, as well as being used to access small boats owned by various villagers.
With its worn wooden planks and the smell of salt from the sea in the air, its a calm place and many come to sit here and watch the small rowing boats sail by.
Some boats are available for hire, and trips can be taken down the river which can be relaxing and romantic.
