As they travelled by carriage up to the castle, Raven placed a hand on her swollen stomach. She was feeling a bit sick too. The carriage stopped and the door opened. Raven struggled just a tiny bit to get out. She breathed heavily. "Lancelot?" She asked. She waited for him but she was eager to get into bed and rest, for she was weary.

There were few women, Lancelot knew, who even when pregnant could cut as good a figure as Lady Raven could. She was once more carrying his child, but this time he knew that they both wanted to keep it. He was worried about her, though. He knew that she was the strongest of females, but that this pregnancy had taken a lot out of her, as the long journey home had as well. He heard her call his name. "Yes, milady, do you need my assistance4 to climb from the carriage, perhaps? Here, take my hand, and lean on me as we take the last steps to the castle. I am sure that you are looking forward to a warm and comforting bed after your long trip."

She smiled. "How many times have I asked you to call me by my name?" she asked, with a warm smile. She took his hand and leant against him. "Thank you dear." she said. When she got to her room she sat on her bed. "I'm sure Arthur will be happy to hear of your return." Raven said. She looked up at Lancelot. She missed her maid Felcity and hoped she would see her soon.

He returned her warm smile with one of his own. "Yes .... Raven ..... I know it is a serious shortcoming of mine when it come to you, but I feel that you are owed the respect that is in that name." She did not hesitate to take his hand and to lean on him. This had been the greatest change in her over the course of the last few months ... that she was willing to admit that she relied on others .... on him .... in some things. As soon they reached her chambers, not surprisingly shew went immediately to her bed and sat down. "Yes, I suppose he will be, but you are the first concern of mine. "where are your servants ... shouldn't they be tending you here, by now?"

Raven smiled. "It matters not. I shall be alright. My Aunt is patrolling the area." she said. Raven cringed in pain and blew heavily. She pulled the covers over her and reached for her Book of Shadows and began to write in it. Though she couldn't keep her eyes off the knight, who had so galenatly stolen her heart. She chuckled to herself and carried on writing in her book.

Lancelot returned her smile quite readily. However, he thought that she was being a bit cavalier perhaps when it came to her security. This was not like her to delegate so much to others, even to close relatives like her aunt. He saw the pain written across her face, and perhaps that explained her mindset, he thought. He saw her reach for the book that he had seen her writing in before, and saw her quick look and heard her chuckle. "What are you writing in the book, Raven, and what is it you find so amusing?"
