It was a beautiful autumn day today, and Timothy was on his way to the marketplace, to buy some supplies for the White Dragon Inn. He had just enough time, to buy the few idea's he needed and go for a little stroll. So, he would therefore not miss the opportunity to do so. Perhaps he could sit outside on a bench while watching people passing by. He loved to people watch, it was always interesting to see how people interacted with other. He thought, as he slowly strolled down the path to the marketplace.
The Inn keeper glanced up at the sun and made a grimace, as he got blinded by the light. A few ravens flied by far up there, and he could barely see them. There were no clouds on the blue sky whatsoever, and it had given many peasant a reason to talk a stroll themselves. He passed by a few younger kids that had taken their homework to the big oak. Timothy greeted them with a small wave and a friendly smile before continuing his pace.

Legend walked along, an annoyed aura made the people in the marketplace back off a little bit. He heard the whispers behind him and felt like whipping around and hitting them with magic. He reluctantly restrained himself. He walked on, getting more annoyed with the constant smiles and waves fired at him. In the end he walked straight into another person. He stepped back and snapped, "Can't you see I'm in a bad mood? Do you mind, I need to get past." Legend was in this bad move because a spell he'd been practicing for sometime had failed yet again and it caused all his frustration.

The marketplace was packed, Timothy had to push through some people to get by. He dodged the people with ease, a skill that you pick up from living in such a big city, like Camelot. As Timothy was dodging his way through the crawled, his eye caught site of a beautiful women. In his distracting, he let himself walk right into another person.
"So, sorry about that...I was distracted," Timothy said, with a grin. He looked back up to try and find the women who had caught his eye, but she was nowhere to be found. He then returned his attention back to the man he had bumped into. "Let me make it up to you. Care for a pint?"

Legend scowled at the man before him. His eyes narrowed a little. And he snapped, "No, no I would not 'care for a pint', as you so simply put it. I would just like to get to my house before I get trampled out here." For the first time he looked at the man he'd bumped into. "Who are you anyways? I've never seen you here before? And do you care to tell me why you were so careless and bumped into me? Huh?" His anger was bubbling again, and that was a bad thing for Legend, when he was angry bad things could happen. Just ask his friends. They would know.

"I'm Timothy Redfield. Owner of the White Dragon Inn. Nice to meet you," he said, not let the strangers bad mood, effect his good mood. Being a Inn keeper he was use to people with bad attitudes. He would always try to cheer them up, he would fail half of the time but that didn't stop him. Timothy was a optimist, he always looked at the glass half full and suspected their was a unopened bottle of wine. "Oh....and to answers your other question. My glaze was caught by a beautiful women."

Legend was just starting to calm down again, but then when this Timothy man mentioned the beautiful woman as the reason he ran into Legend, well that lit his spark. The angry sorcerer snapped, "A beautiful woman!? You ran into me and just ruined my day even further because you caught sight of a beautiful woman!?" Other people were starting to stare now. Legend could careless. He spoke a spell under his breath and a sword materialized in his hand. His glaring eyes stared challenging at Timothy.

Felicity was meeting her friend Timothy, owner of the White Dragon Inn. The two had known each other since they were quite young, families being associated and all. She knew that she'd see him at the market place. He was there for suplies every so often and Felicity was buying supplies for Lady Raven anyway.
Felicty caught sight of Timothy and blushed when she noticed him talking to Legend. 'What if Timothy tells him something teribly embarrassing about my childhood?!' she thought with terror. 'No, he'd never do that.'
Felicity noticed Legend shouting. What was going on here? Timothy hadn't insulted him, had he? He wasn't a mean guy, so Felicity was terribly confused at this point. Her eyes grew wide when she noticed a sword appear in his hand.
"Legend!" she called out, going over to the two young men. "Whats going on here?!"

Legend looked at Felicity. He was mighty confused to see her. He started to blush. But then looked away from her. He said, "You shouldn't get in the middle of it, Felicity." He meant it, he didn't want her to get hurt, and that could happen when Legend got mad. Then something hit him. He looked at Timothy, then at Felicity. He thought, 'I bet Felicity likes him!' He felt a little hurt, he liked her. Of course he hadn't told her that. Or anyone else for that matter. But it still made him a little sad. He dropped the sword and it disappeared when he snapped his fingers. He turned to Felicity and Timothy and said curtly, "It was a pleasure to meet you, Timothy. And a pleasure to see you again, Felicity. But I'm just going to go. Have a wonderful day." Then he turned and walked away pushing his feelings away.

Timothy was surprised when the little guy drew a sword. He had even notice that he was carrying a sword before, it seem to appear out of thin air. This guy must be magic. Timothy was about to try and talk the guy down, he didn't like to fight. Then his old friend Felicity came running up.
"Ahh...If it isn't the beautiful girl that caught my eye," Timothy said, with a wink. Felicity and Timothy had grow up together and although he was abit older they had always been great friend. He liked to tease her and say that he had a crush on her, but they were only friends. He saw her as a little sister. "Oh...and bye Legend! It was a honor to meet you, as well."

"and if it isn't the handsom gentleman that caught mine." she laughed. She saw him as nothing more than a brother, but she figured she'd play along with their usual routine. Felicity gave Timothy a wry smile. The two often teased, being such good friends. "How are you, Timothy?" She hadn't seen him in a few days.
Felicity's eyes averted to Legend who was starting to leave."Why must you go so soon, Legend?" Felicity didn't want Legend to leave. She felt disappointment within her. He must really want to avoid me after Lady Ravens party. What if he knew? Felicity would never be able to reveal her face to him again if that were the case. "You really ought to stay. You and Tim could be wonderful friends. There's not a doubt in my mind."

Legend turned around and stared at Felicity, "No, I'm fine, I'd rather go, leave you two alone, you seem to need privacy." He glared at her, then at Timothy then turned and began to walk away. There was a deep swallowing sadness in the pit of his stomach. And he felt a wetness welling up in his eyes, which he tried to blink away. Not now, not now! He willed himself not to cry, not here, not now. When he got back to his hut, perhaps he'd let it loose then, but not now. Legend was thinking, 'she deserves him, not me. I'm just a useless moron. There's nothing I can do, that can impress her. I might as well just "wander" into the woods and see if I can get to that creature to attack me again, and this time Felicity won't be there so save me, then I'd just die.' That's what he wanted. He wanted to just die. He felt as though his live had ended, no like he was just hanging on a thread, just suffering, unable to let go. Then a soft gentle tear caressed his cheek as it rolled down. He wiped it away, but another replaced it.

Felicity was deeply confused by what had just happened. Why was he in such a hurry? Why did he seem angry at her? This made absolutly no sense at all! She gave Timothy an apolegetic look before rushing over to catch up with Legend.
"Legend, what's the matter with you?" she asked him, indignace taking over. "You were awfully rude to my friend there."
Why on earth was he behaving in such a way? The Legend that she knew was kind and caring. What had set him off so badly? Felicity caught a glance of his face and noticed tears running down his cheeks. Her heart sank and her expression softened from it's glare.
"Bad day?" she questioned in a gentle voice, unsure of what to say. She didn't like the sight of him crying. She didn't like it at all. In fact, it felt as though a very sharp knife was stabbing her insides.

Legend looked at her and brushed the tears angrily away. He didn't meet her eyes. The tears kept coming. He said, his voice choked, "Felicity..." He didn't want to go on, but then he did. He tried to speak but a lump prevented him from doing what he wanted. He tried again, this time he said, "Felicity....I think....I know...I, I love you." Then the anger attacked him. He said angrily, "But you don't do you? You love that...that....that Inn Keeper! Your too good for me, I know that. I don't care that you love him...but i do care."

Felicity's heart pounded when she heard Legend say those words. She could hardly believe her ears! Legend felt the same way? Could this really be happening? Felicity tried to find the words to respond with. All doubts that she had before were slowly vanishing as she threw her arms around him.
"I do NOT love Timothy, You prat!" she said with laughter, She could not believe that he would even think that. Timothy was only her friend. Like family, really. "If you'd open your eyes, you'd know that It's you. It's always been you, Legend!"
She was finished denying. She loved Legend and she wanted to be with him. She was no longer going to worry about the consequences. She was not going to allow herself to be doubtful and afraid.

Legend looked at her in surprise. She didn't love TImothy? At first he was deeply confused then all his confusion vanished and when he arms were thrown around him he put his around her and hugged her to him. He didn't know what to say. So he just leaned down and gently gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Felicity...." he paused. "I don't know what to say, that I'm sorry that I acted like a jerk? That doesn't really help does it?" He laughed quietly. "I just thought that you two were together the way he looked at you and you him. I guess I was just afraid that you didn't love me. Like I do you." He beamed at her and then looked back at Timothy. "I do believe that I have something to say to him." He looked at Felicity a smile on his face then walked over to Timothy. "I'm deeply sorry for my rude, uncalled for, behavior. Perhaps you could accept my apology?" Then he said, "So, is that pint of yours still an option?" He grinned slightly.
