There is a sense of Irony in meeting in the Forest, All things considered. Of course, This time Dreamer was following the directions of a note sent to his office, and not a bugging sensation in his head. Which, he still could not explain. It was weird that Raven would send him a note instead of seeing him herself.
Walking in the Forest, Dreamer kept his eyes open for her. He hoped that the meeting was too strenuous, he didn't want anything more to worry about. Raven alone caused him enough worry for a whole lifetime.

Deeper in the forest there was a clash of swords. Raven and her sly, wicked uncle were in combat. Out of sheer frustration, her uncle cast a spell it hit her. Raven knew there was a life growing inside of her but she couldnt feel it anymore. Rage boiled through her veins and in a fierce cry Raven cut her uncles throat. He had wounded her also. Raven clasped her right side and ran.
She collasped just before she got to Dreamer. She was loosing a lot of blood. Darkness took her and she fell into what seemed a deep sleep.

Dreamer heard the familiar sound of clashing steel as he came upon Raven fighting with an aged man. Before he could force himself out of shock, Raven pushed her injured body far enough to slit the mans throat. Both collapsed in a pool of their own blood, leaving Dreamer in a state of Shock.
From Shock, to distraught.
"No, No, No,NO!" Dreamer repeated, rushing to bloody scene of battle. On instinct, Dreamer ran to Ravens side in an attempt to comfort her. "No, stay with me", Dreamer said, but it was too late, she was already passed out. He would not lose her.
"Bring Light, Bring Light, Take pain from this fight" Dreamer said, Pushing his magic into the wounds. In a rush of power, Raven's wounds began to piece themselves together. Dreamer smiled when he saw this, it meant she was still alive.
Dreamer turned to the man, blood squirting from his wound. Dreamer covered the mans throat with his hand, covering his hand in the old mans blood, and began to sing his own magic. "Quickly Quickly, Gone from your deathbed, i give you this right" Dreamer sang. The spell was a much greater drain on Dreamer, since the man was encountering Death before Dreamer took him.
Dreamer sat down as the two began to piece themselves together with his magic. Dreamer cast one more spell as he touched the earth with his bare hands. "Come to me, oh vines of the Mother, bring forth restrictions, to keep a man under", Dreamer sang. The spell brought forth vines from the earth that bound the man's body parts to the earth.
Letting out a huge sigh of Relief, Dreamer watched and waited for his lover and her enemy to awaken. He deserved some answers.

Raven slowly opened her eyes. She sat up and looked at her side. It was healed. Raven turned around and saw Dreamer. She had no words to describe how pleased she was to see him. She wrapped her arms around him. "Dreamer I dont know how to put this... But... I... Ive lost our child." she said. It pained her heart to say it. She looked down at her hands and then heard a stirring.
Her uncle had been healed too. Raven shot Dreamer an angry glare. "I killed him for good reason. He brought shame upon my family." she said. "You took my title you stupid little girl." her uncle growled. "Well Im sorry for being born." she said sarcastically. She took her short blade and without hesitation, she peirced her uncles heart. he died almost immeadiatly and she felt no regret or remorse for what she had just done.

It was too late. Dreamer was too slow, Raven too quick. Her blade pierced the man's heart. Admitinly, the only feeling Dreamer felt was disappointment. With such a quick death, Dreamer had no chance to bring his own wrath upon the hopless old man. Who killed his child "Too fast," Dreamer said, "He died too fast." Dreamer fought to keep his temper in check, but he couldnt resist. Everything inside him wanted to bring forth the pain he felt upon others. More specificly, to the one person left infront of him. Dreamer knew there was no competition in power between them, if challenged, Raven could only hold against Dreamer for a short time. Inevidably, Dreamer would kill her, if he so choosed. "You never told me"

Raven looked at Dreamer. "I thought it didn't matter." she said. The anger she saw in Dreamer's eyes scared her. Raven was shaking a bit with fear. She shuffled her way back to him and held his face in her hands. "It's my own fault. I'm sorry sweetheart." she said gently. She brought her lips to his. The only thing that was going through her mind was to calm her lover down. She snuggled close to him. "I truely am sorry." she repeated. Tears fell from her eyes and soft, sorrowful sobs came from her. "I can understand if you wish to kill me now." Raven wept. She stayed close to Dreamer waiting for her fate to be sealed.

I thought it didnt matter Sound fell away as rage filled his veins with the power to kill. The air around him began to grow heavy as magic subconsiously built around him, poised to strike. Raven attempted to soothe his aching heart with her empty words and kisses he could not feel. She snuggled close, speaking words he could not hear, until she mentioned her understanding if he felt like killing her. His hand snapped to her throat and he positioned her face to his. Unknown to him, but he had changed. Veins of black flooded around his eyes as he glared at her. The eyes themselves like looking into darkness itself. "I dont think you do" he said, his voice like ice. Darkness began to seep into her skin, strangling her. "You held my child in you, and you kept that life from me..." he said, "Believeing it didnt matter...". Dreamer's rage built with each word spit. "Well guess what Raven, I BELIEVE IT MATTERS!". He screamed with such ferocity that the critters rose from their hidden perches and flew. With his rage reaching a point of manifesting pain, Dreamer was a moment away from irrationality. Looking Straight into her eyes he finally found what he felt, pain. Screaming, he let her go and began to weep. For his child, for the death, for the things he had done. He wept in his own misery.

Raven coughed and looked at him. "Where has the Dreamer I knew and loved gone. You've destroyed him.." she whispered. She struggled to her feet. She didn't want to comfort him right now. Raven took a few steps back, shaking her head. She turned around and ran away.
Raven came to the cave she and Dreamer first fell for each other. She took a long thick piece of wood and ripped some cloth off her cloak. "Fumo." she uttered. The torch came to life and she entered the cave.
She saw the remains of their fire. Tears welled up in her eyes. Where had her loving and sweet Dreamer gone? Who was this monster that replaced him. Raven lit up another fire and wept silently. Her knees up to her chest her arms resting on them and her forehead resting on her arms. She wanted to die. Raven looked up and took one of her knive. Rolling up her left sleeve, she dug the blade deeply into the skin. Raven was still crying as she carved Dreamer's name into her wrist. Scarlet blood flowed freely from the wound. A part of her wished Dreamer would find her and take her in his arms, but the other part of her, the Assassin side of her, hoped he wouldnt find her. "My darling Dreamer... What's happened to you?" she whispered into the fire. Raven heard footsteps, stood up and drew her sword. "Who's there?" she asked and wiped the tears away from her eyes, frantically.

Dreamer had not noticed the rain until the day began to fall away, and no more tears could be shed. He could not recall how long he had been on his knees, weeping from the ovewhelming grief. He did notice that the old man was still lying a ways from him, dead, and Raven was gone.
It was probably best this way.
Dreamer couldnt feel at the moment, he kept himself from it. Feeling meant going back to his grief, weeping in his own solem place of hell. He didnt want that, so he left. The old man would be alone in the forest for nature to take care of. Dreamer was done with him.
The rain still fell as Dreamer walked and it was awhile before he came upon the cave. His numb state kept him from remembering the signifigance, but the person inside couldnt. Dreamer began to be drawn back into his grief as he stood, watching raven by the fire. She began to notice him, and pulled a blade out to face him. he simply stood there.
Cold, Grief-stricken, and feeling more alone than ever, Dreamer stood before his lover. He didnt know what to feel, so he slowly began to register all of them. He was angry with her for keeping the knowledge of their child from him until its death. Yet, he also wished to curl up in her arms and simple forget, to rid himself of the terrible lonliness.
He stood before her.

Raven stood before Dreamer. "What do you want?" she asked, her voice breaking. He was still as beautiful as ever. That breath-taking Asian look it was amazing. She tried to stay firm but more tears fell. Raven dropped her sword and it clattered to the ground. She ran to him and punched him hysterically. "Youre not the same.." she wept. Raven hid her face in his chest. She was certain he could see the etching of his name on her wrist. Blood was still oozing from the wound it was that deep. "Im so sorry." she cried. She fell to her knees begging for forgivness. Her heart was shattered into shrapnel. What would he do? Raven would understand if he didnt comfort her. She wanted to die.

Dreamer did not waver in his stance as Raven pointed her blade at him and asked what he wanted. He did not waiver when the blade clashed to the ground and she ran to him, in a fit of tears, to collide into him. Her fists pounded into his chest, and he still did not waiver.
Then she hid her face in his chest, and cried out, "Your not the same". His voice would give away his emotion as he said, "I am the same, i have never changed". Dreamer kept his inner darkness to himself, but he never lied in saying it never existed.
Raven fell to the floor spoke her sorrows with appoligies. Dreamer noticed the blood running down her arm, and his name carved into her flesh. He kneeled down with her and grasped her wrist, and tried to bring forth whatever hope and happiness he could to summon white magic. He could do little, so the wound healed, but left the permanent impression of his name in her wrist.
Dreamer then wrapped his arms and held her, letting her cry, and letting himself be comforted in her arms. He was not alone in his grief.

"He killed our baby. With magic." she wept. Of course she was on about her now dead uncle. Raven wanted to be a mother she was ready. "No youre not the same... Darkness has consumed you. I will find a way to set you free of this evil. I swear it." she promised. She fell asleep due to cying so much. Beforw she fell asleep she lay a deep passionate kiss on Dreamers lips.
