Attack! (Legend)

[Felicity Wood]

The day was dull and Felicity had nothing to do. That only meant one thing. She should go on a walk! She grabbed her favorite brown hooded cloak to wear so, she'd be warm as she entered the Forest. She wished she had someone to join her. Honestly...She really needed to get some friends.

As she walked through the woods, she let out a sigh. There was so much she wanted to do with her life that she doubted would actually happen. She wanted to have adventures, she wanted to be brave, and she wanted to have friends. This was hopeless, though. She wished that she owned a horse like Lady Raven. She hated merely being a servant with no true importance about her.

Now she felt sort of guilty. There were people who were in worsepredicaments than she was. Peasants, Serfs, and so many others who would give anything to be in her place. How could she be so selfish?

A rustle in the woods, made Felicity jump. What was it? An animal...That had to be it. She was still a bit nervous, though. Thats when she heard it again. What could it be?

Felicity now wished that she had someone with her. She had been very foolish, running off into the forest alone. She was only a servant without a lick of training.

Thats when something pounced on her, making a loud scream escape her lips.

[Legend Filikan]

Legend had been walking along the trail, practicing magic when he heard the scream. His eyes darted around him and he drew his dagger. He wished he'd thought to bring a different weapon. But now was not the time to worry about that, someone was in trouble.
Legend ran in the direction of the scream. He wasn't looking at his feet so he tripped over a root and went sprawling. It took him a moment to regain his feet, for he was sure he'd sprained his ankle. Then he drew in a breath then sprinted on.
He gritted his teeth against the pain as he jogged to a stop. There was a girl trapped under a sinister looking dragon. A wyvern for sure. He'd read about them.
He gave a yell and the creature lifted its head. It growled then catapulted itself at him. Great, he wasn't expecting that. He dove to the side but he was too late, the creatures long threatening claws racked his side making him wince.
With a shot of new strength he shoved the dagger at the wyvern and the creature fell heavily atop him.
Legend twisted his hand and the corpse levitated above him. He crawled out from under it, retrieved his dagger and let the body drop. He turned to the girl and offered her his hand.

Felicity had been in so much shock that she hardly realized that someone was fighting the horrible looking creature off of her.

Felicity wished that she had experience with fighting so that she could help more easilly, but this proved to be nothing but difficult when she had never practiced and was too terrified and shocked anyway.

She trembled when she took the offered hand of the boy who saved her and took in several deep breaths before trying to speak.

"I....Thank you." she choked out, trying not to look as terrified as she felt. "You will never know how grateful I am! Are you alright? I'll help you..."

Felcity was the servant of Lady Raven Silvester and knew a bit about mending wounds and such, so she figured that she could help him if he needed it. She did not want to look like the damsel in distress.

[Legend Filikan]

Legend grinned mischievously when the girl offered to help him. "I am grateful for your concern, miss, but I must decline." He waved a hand and the wound closed.
He smiled at her and said, "My name is Legend Filiken, pleasure to make your acquaintance." He gave her a bow and sheathed his dagger.
He looked over at the body of the dragon. "Would you like to go somewhere more pleasant? That thing is a little disturbing..."

Felicity's eyes widened when she saw him heal his wound and smiled at his offer. He was magic. Magic fasinated her. She truely wished that she was able to perform it, but posessed no magical powers so doubted she would ever learn.

"I'd like that very much." she said, looking away from the creature. She was less nervous about her exploration because now she had someone with her. "My name is Felicity Wood. Pleasure to meet you."

Felcity wondered where thay would go. She had only been in this forest when she joined Lady Raven on her travels. It was not very often that she could choose where she went.

"Are you sure you'd want to go off in the woods with me?" she asked him,"I mean....I could be an evil shapeshifter that took the form of an innocent young girl, plotting to lure young men like yourself out in the wilderness, only to kill you when we were deep enough into the forest."

Felicity could have slapped herself for the joke she's just made. She felt her face turn crimson and her eyes grew slightly wider.

"I....I mean, I'm NOT....but...I...Um...I'm really not." she stuttered, looking mortified. She wasn't much of a people person. She wasn't able to be very social with anyone other than Lady Raven and hardly with her even.

Legend laughed. "Come now, Felicity! If you were a shapeshifter I would have sensed something. If you were a shapeshifter, then your eyes wouldn't have widened at the sight of my magic healing my wound. You would have tensed and prepared to run, in case I was more powerful then you." He raised an eyebrow at her and grinned, "But since you did none of those things and you assured me with your words, I know for certain you are not an evil shapeshifter." He began to walk to the east, back the trail he'd been on, "Now come, that little dragon looks like its staring at us." Of course Legend was making a joke, the dragon's eyes were shut and it was lying lifeless a few feet from him.

Felicity laughed a little, relieved that Legend did not take her words seriously about being a shapeshifter. If she didn't break her aweful habit of saying that sort of thing, she might not be so lucky and end up getting herself injured or killed.

Felicity smiled, following Legend. He seemed like a nice person and she couldn't wait to actually get to know soemone outside of work. It was exciting and she hoped all went well and that she would not embarrass herself with her strange mannerisms.

"So, where do you live, Legend?" she asked him, trying to strike conversation.

[Legend Filikan]

Legend replied, "I live in a little hut in the village, quite close to the castle."
He looked back at her and grinned. They'd reached the path. He asked, "Which way?"
It really didn't matter to him which way they went, either way led to an adventure that he was willing to take. It joyed him that he was finally taking a walk with someone, for it was seldom he did so. The last walk he'd taken with someone had ended in disaster.
Legend grimaced at the thought of the last walk he'd had. It hadn't been his fault...well maybe. That man had that mask and Legend was curious, so he'd taken it off and had to feel the man's wrath.
Legend shook his head then gazed at Felicity and smiled.

(let's say the events in Phantom's Rage have already happened but Felicity doesn't remember Legend and Legend doesn't remember her)

Felicity headed in a random direction, taking her chances. Se was starting to feel a lot braver now that she was actually with someone. She looked at Legend, sensing that she'd seen him somewhere before. He looked very familiar.

"Isn't this place amazing?!" she asked him, holding her hands out, spinning around in circles, laughing. She was actually letting loose for once, letting her propper manners escape. "I wish I could just stay out here forever!"

Felicity began to quicken her pace, running a little ahead of Legend on the path. She could not believe how hyperactive she was today. Interacting with someone new must have that effect on her.

Legend walked beside her and watched as she ran a ways in front of him. He grinned and chuckled at her reaction. He jogged to keep up with her. "Haven't you been to this part of the woods before?" He didn't wait for an answer, "I've got this tree, I climb it all the time, would you like to see it?"
She was familiar, it was odd. Legend didn't think he'd ever seen her before. Or had he?

Felicity nodded earnestly when he offered to show her the tree. She loved climbing tree's in her childhood, but her mother had told her that she was too old for such things once she hit her teenaged years.

"I'd love too." she said, following him, "Legend, I know it might sound crazy, but I think we've met before. I just can't remember where it was. You just seem quite familiar."

Felicity wracked her brain, trying her best to place him, but it was difficult. She just couldn't recall where or when this had occured. Perhaps it was only someone who looked like him.

"I know that I have seen someone like you before...." she said to him, trying her best to recall. "I just can't put my fingure on it."

[Legend Filikan]

Legend turned to her, "I've been thinking the exact same thing, my friend." He began to walk, waving is hand to show her to follow. He thought, and thought some more. Then suddenly he gave a high whoop and turned around.
"I know where I know you!" he cried, excitedly. "It was that one day by the river with Chase, the other girl and the man with the mask! You were there and so was I!" He pranced around, happy that his memory was "working" once more.

Felicity let out a gasp, her memory returning as he spoke. Yes, THAT was it! She could not believe that she had forgotten! It was all coming back to her now. She gave Legend a smile.

"Oh! Right! Lillian was there! It was by the river! I remember now!" How could she have forgotten? "I cannot believe that I didn't reconize you sooner, Legend."

The Phantom had been so angry when his massk was removed.

"Weren't you the one who removed the make?" she asked him, "Or was that Chase?"

Felicity couldn't remember who it was because the event had occured so long ago and she mainly recalled the rage that the Phantom displayed that day.

[Legend Filikan]

Legend smiled with mischief, "That was me, all me!" He said, "Chase would never do something like that! He thinks things out before he acts...must of the time! Me? I don't do that."
He grinned and jumped up grabbing a limb to a fat oak tree. He swung himself up and then pulled himself to a sitting position. "Come on up, what are you waiting for?"

It had been a while since Felicity had last climbed a tree. She missed it dearly, but was told by so many adults that ladies her age should not do that sort of thing. Well, what they didn't know wouldn't hurt them.

"I love this tree." she sighed, "I've always wondered what it would be like to climb it."

So, she did. Felicity climbed up with some difficulty, but made it onto the strong branch that held Legend. She gave him a smile, looking up at the green leaves.

"It's so nice..." she said to him. "Getting to just act free, no orders. Don't get me wrong, I adore Lady Raven, but it's nice to just be myself."
