Chase lounged against the wall. He was in a room adjacent to the ballroom that was filled with snacks and deserts. He had gotten bored of the ball and had decided to hang out here for a bit trying all the snacks. He was still bored though and had munched his way through at least one of almost every treat. Once he was done with that he didn't know what he would do. Maybe go back out into the ballroom and show off his dancing.

Arthur slammed into the wall of the buffet suite his hair a mess and his shirt buttoned up wrong. In his hand he had an almost empty bottle of liquer. "Chase!" He shouted, pointing at the young boy with a grin spread across his face. "I remember you!" He stumbled over, placing a heavy arm upon Chase's shoulders.
"Last time i saw you, You caused me no end of trouble.." Arthur slurred, leaning his weight down onto the younger boy and nearly falling over. "It's time you paid the price!"
Arthur teetered on the spot for a few seconds, before finally managing to drag himself to the nearby table of desserts and with one foul swoop, he aimed a cream cake straight into Chase's face.

Chase stood in shock as a drunken Arthur stumbled into the room. Chase couldn't believe that Arthur, a prince who was supposed to be the epitome of chivalry, was in such a nasty state. It was embarrassing both to the prince and to anyone in his company. He stood frozen as the drunken prince leaned upon him complaining about all the trouble Chase had caused him in the past.
Chase couldn't understand what the prince was talking about. They had never directly met except during the battle in Hemlot where Chase had merely helped ensure that Camelot won the battle. If Arthur hadn't liked his help then that was Arthur's problem.
The cake hit Chase's face. He paused for a second breathing slowly a slight smile creeping across his face. Then he slowly walked over to the drunken Arthur grabbed a still hot apple pie and slammed it at Arthur's face as hard as he could.

"Yooowwwwwch!" Arthur wailed, the hot, sticky-sweet sauce oozing out over his nose and chunks of apple slowly dropping to the floor. He tried to wipe it away, bit it did nothing but spread to his hands and cause more mess.
"I'm not impressed." Arthur said solemnly, grabbing Chase's shirt and wiping his hands clean without any thought as to what Chase might think of that. Once the drunken fool was satisifed that his hands were squeaky clean, he delved both of them into the middle of a huge chocolate cake and threw as much as he could at Chase.
Unfortunately, Arthur missed.

Chase's shock was beginning to fade away and now he was starting to get angry.. How dare that stuck up princeling attack him. However at the same time he was getting excited as well. Here was something to do that would end his boredom. Even better since Arthur had been the one who started it Chase couldn't be held responsible for any trouble that occurred.
Chase didn't bother moving to avoid Arthur's badly thrown cake. It stuck to the wall a couple of feet to his left. What Arthur wouldn't be able to realize in his drunken state was that it wasn't how much you threw it was what you threw. The hotter and stickier the object the better.
Chase instantly grabbed a bowl of some sort of hot disgusting looking pudding and launched it towards Arthur's head.

Arthur ducked, completely avoiding the disgusting looking missile that had been aunched at him. How he had done that in his drunken state he would never know, but unfortunately a rather posh looking man behind him hadnt been so lucky.
A few seconds later, Arthur felt something slam into the back of his head, and turning around he was shocked to find a dessert covered man glaring at him, an empty pie dish in his hand.
With surprising grace and accuracy, Arthur grabbed another dish from the table and threw it back at the man. "It wasnt me!" he yelled, "It was Chase!"
The pompous old man ducked down, the dish Arthur had thrown hitting yet another innocent victim, who soon joined in the fun.
Oh dear... Arthur thought, looking at the mess he had caused, his father was not going to be happy.

Chase grinned excitedly at the sight of his and Arthur's food battle spread. What fun this would be! He instantly started chucking food at various important looking people and then ducking out of site when they looked for who had thrown it. Due to their inebriated state they responded by chucking their snacks at the first person they saw.
Once Chase decided that he had caused enough chaos he ducked behind a curtain next to the window and laughing at the battle unfolding before him occasionally ducking its miss flung missiles.

"What on earth!" Bellowed a voice.
Arthur spun round unsteadily to find his father standing in the doorway, a lrage wad of cake sticking to the side of his face. He didn't look angry, but he didnt exactly look impressed either.
"Oh father, I am soooooooooo glad you're here!" Arthur slurred, stumbling over to Uther and leaning on the wooden frame that housed the door. "Y'see this booooy..." Arthur paused looking around the mess of a room for Chase, who of course had since slipped away. "Well he might have gone nowww...but this was allll his fault!" Arthur lied well, even when intoxicated but his father raised a single eyebrow and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck.
"You know Arthur, one day you just might grow up!" And with that he was dragged away.
