The Jesters have been let lose! Outside the walls of Camelot three fun-loving Jesters armed with only their wit and humour play to entertain the crowd by any means necessary. Immediately bringing a smile to passers-by faces it can be deemed hard not to get pulled in by their neverending energy and excitement.
Armed with trunks of items of trickery, century old jokes and tales, it can prove a challenge not to be enlightened by these men in colourful tights and jangly silver bells!
Feel free to continue this post in whichever way you wish! There is no limit on who can join and no rules, but remember to keep your posts reasonably short!

Arthur sighed, as the third jester that day stole his mask. He had been trying so hard to stay anonymous this week, and until the jesters had arrived he had been succeeding. Unfortunately, they always seemed to know exactly where he was, and always waited until the oppurtune moment- when there were hoards of onlookers- to unveil him.
Arthur grabbed at air as the jester who had been holding the mask out for him, snatched his hand away again, quick as a flash. As a child Arthur had loved watching the fools play their tricks, but now that he was older and their victim, it wasn;t so much fun.
"Here you go!" Said an unfamiliar voice, and Arthur turned to find a masked stranger holding out his mask. "How did you manage...?" Arthur asked increduously.

Gill, masked in white lace, and in a plain white linen dress, pressed through the crowds that had gathered around the jesters. After having smuggled Henry from the prison, and changed into suitable party attire, they had made their way to the celebrations. It was Gill's last night before she left for home...
Her dark head of hair bobbed through the crowd, contrasting strongly with her pale face, mask and clothing. She threw a glance over her shoulder... Henry wasn't behind her anymore... he must have got lost in the crowds. She rocked up on her tip toes, craning her neck and tilting her chin up to see over the revellers' heads. Gill couldn't see Henry but she did see the jester steal a mask from a young man not far from her. She snatched it back from him deftly, and the jester cackled and darted into the crowd.
"Here you go!" she offered, moving around to face the jester's unwitting victim.
Gill froze in her position, a smile still on her face and her arm outreached. It was the Prince. The prince whose cell Henry was supposed to be in right now. Henry, who would probably be looking for her right now!

Henry walked the streets of Camelot as a free man for the first time in days, for the first time in months. Something inside him had lifted when he had seen Gill, turning him into the person he used to be, content and relaxed.
He was dressed in costume just as everyone else was, consisting of a simple black mask which rested on his high cheek bones and accentuated his natural good looks. He wore a black tight fitting suit, made for a noble originally he guessed. Gill had done an excellent job of finding something in his size, for he was tall and skinny- not the easiest combination.
He had been so busy watching various passers by, trying to guess their class -and even gender in some cases- that he looked up to find Gill had seemingly disappeared. The crowd was thick, and he assumed she must have just got carried along with it, and so he followed. Finally he caught sight of a white-clad figure with her tell-tale dark hair, he jogged over, only stopping halfway when he caught sight of who she was talking to.
