it's been three years since merlin had arrived at camelot and be given his destiny to protect the young prince arthur and made sure he became king of camelot that with unite albion under one ruler. Through the good and the bad merlin has fullifuled his destiny within three years of his arrival and has become arthur's advisor. with arthur's half-sister's reign has crumbled and disappeared with her half-sister elsewhere. arthur has turned camelot around for the better allowing magic back within the kingdom and give his father something to be proud of. guinevere, arthur's former lover, has left him for lancelot who she truely loves in the heart and doesn't want to cause arthur any harm later on. she remains good friends with him and merlin as she is engaged to her love lancelot.
now with the change of camelot, other kingdoms are changing as well. a new royal family as taken over cenred and is trying to build a more better and peaceful kingdom which camelot is still borderline on that matter. in merica, bayard's son fredrick and his family has taken the throne a year prior of arthur's crowning. with the new king of camelot unmarried and single his daughter alyssa what's nothing, but to marry him and fredrick will do anything for his daughter to get so.
with the first annual christmas festival at hand. many are pouring in for the event bringing everyone near and far for the event. even on the western isle of ireland a princess and her lady are within the mix. although with it the love of the season sends two together while one what's nothing but arthur and will stop at nothing to get him. many evil dangers lurk within the festival that the new king of camelot is holding. can merlin be on his gaurd and stop this evil that is sneaking around? will merica be the spotlight? will camelot get the queen that they need? everything will be answered as we continue the magic of merlin.
