Appearance: Imriel has long, wavy golden blond hair. She has a round face, brown eyes, thin lips. Her best features are her eyes and smile. Her eyes appear kind and caring. Though she rarely smiles, she has a very pretty smile that brightens up he face. Imriel is healthy looking and her skin has a natural glow. Her brown eyes and pale complexion compliment her golden blond hair, which she normally wears in simple hairdos. She inherited her brown eyes and golden, silky locks from her mother, as well as her beauty.
Imriel is not very tall, but she has an athletic figure. She is athletic and rather strong for someone so small. The only blemish on her skin is a little heart shaped birthmark on her left shoulder blade. It is quite small and is generally covered up by her clothing. Her face is oval shaped and she has a small cleft in her chin. Her features make her appear delicate, like a china doll. Her nose is straight and her eyes are almond shaped. Her eyebrows appear perfectly arched, and her lips are neither too thin, nor too big. Her childish look lends to her young appearance.
Imriel tends to wear blues and silvers as her signature colors. Most of her dresses are simple, yet luxurious. She wears a lot of velvet and silks. Her traveling/ riding outfit consists or dark greens and brownish tan fabrics. She has calf hide pants that are rather tight, with a dark brown over skirt that is slit along the side of both legs. She has a dark green tunic with a dark brown leather corset with a big leather belt that her knives are attached to. Her armor is polished and always clean. Because she is a woman, her armor is lighter than what the men wear.

Imriel is a good horsewoman. Her horse's name is Bellethiel (strong one), a black mare. As a little girl she would travel with her mother and father. Because of the traveling she had done as a little girl, Imriel has always had the desire to move from one place to the next. Maybe she had inherited that from her father as well, who had been a wanderer before taking his rightful place as Lord. Imriel has some dreams of being in some adventure, like the ones in the stories she heard of as a child. Rather ignorant of her mortality, being quite young, Imriel dreams of being on some great adventure. She wants her life to have more importance than just being a lady.
Intelligent
Imriel was given a full education. She had tutors to teach her history, languages, and politics, as well as other things. She used to enjoy figuring out riddles as a child and sometimes her father would leave her riddles in little place and then ask her what the answer was later that day. With her intelligence comes her common sense and intuition. When traveling, she knows where to find the best camp places and has a somewhat good knowledge of herbs and plants.
Charming & Funny
With her intelligence comes her charm and her wit. She has a charming personality that comes with her grin. She knows how to give her full attention to the person she is talking to. She is sweet and humorous, with an edge of sarcastic wit occasionally, especially if she is angry and is attempting not to show it. Imriel knows how to be the center of attention, but she tends to be more of a wallflower. Still, if she is given the chance, she can easily entertain a small group with her conversation.
Passionate
Imriel is very passionate. She can get passionate about an opinion or a subject. She is also passionate when it comes to romance, though Imriel really hasn’t been in love. She does believe in love and hopes that one day she would be, but she does not believe in a loveless marriage. Imriel sometimes gets too passionate about a subject and will not relent.
Stubborn
[/b]Imriel is not good with the word no. She was never very spoiled, but when her parents would say no, she would protest. When it comes to help as well, she is convinced that she can do it on her own. If someone offers her help, she will refuse it, though sometimes she knows how to show humility.

Weaponry Skills: Imriel is skilled with both a bow and arrow, and two long knives.
Imriel has leather vembrances that were made specifically for her. The handles of the two long knives are silver and dark blue with a comfortable grip and the handle is carved with a floral design. Imriel practices forms with her knives for at least an hour a day. Even when she is traveling so that she can keep up her skills. She has named her two knives Turtegiel (Bringer of victory) and Adonnenniel (rebirth). Imriel keeps her two knives sheathed behind her back when traveling, but prefers to keep them sheathed on her hips when fighting. She draws them with her arms crossed.
Imriel is not as good with her bow, though she is a better shot than most men. Imriel has never had reason to use it, though when traveling she always brings it with her. The arrows she uses have dark blue and silver feather at the ends, her own personal colors that she always wears. The arrows that she would use against an enemy have been dipped in a poison to insure a swift and rather painless death.
Character History: Imriel was born in Wales to Lord Ioan Cwningen and Lady Gwyneira. Lady Gwyneira was famous for her long blond hair and pale complexion and was considered the most beautiful woman in Gwynedd. Ioan was a wealthy Lord and an eligible bachelor and people thought it was a worthy and fine match. A baby boy was born nine months into the marriage and they named him Imriel. Another year later, Gwendolen was born.
Imriel and Gwen were quite close and they would play together. When Imriel learned how to sword fight, Gwen would practice with him. Though slender in form, Gwen was quite strong for a girl and was very much Imriel's equal. Some people thought that Imriel and Gwen were twins as they looked very much alike and had the same mannerisms.
When Gwen was 16, her brother went on a mission that took him into hostile territories. Only weeks later would Imriel have gone to Camelot to train as a knight under Arthur. Unfortunately Imriel never returned. Heartbroken, Gwen cut her hair and donned her brother's clothing and armor and traveled to Camelot in disguise as her brother. After three years of training, Gwen, now Imriel, has yet to be found out.
Additional Information: Gwendolen is disguised as her dead brother, Imriel and has become a knight. Imriel is now contemplating telling Arthur her secret.
