Keleth couldn't sleep at night for memories of his past were flooding in his head. Having not known what had happen when he was a kid all he could see was images. "Hey Keleth lets go play camp wars with the other druid camp." A young boy spoke toward the young 10 year old Keleth. Smiling Keleth nodded but something made him turn around that day. It was the smell of burnt wood and black smoke. Both kids turned around as they began to see their camp being burned to the ground. They both began to run toward the camp, adults and kids were running away from the camp screaming in fear. Keleth had lost his friend in the rush of people running away from the camp. All keleth could see were soldiers burning the camp to the ground, next thing he knew he was running away from the inferno of flames. Keleth shook his head as his past flooded his mind as he stared into the forest watching his past walk in front of him. Two small kids appeared in front of Keleth and giggled and ran deeper into the forest, "That...that was me....wait up!" Keleth shouted as he realized that the one of the kids was himself when he was younger and began to sprint into the deep forest searching for answers. (Bad i know )

((Not bad at all! Thanks a bunch for starting. Apologies in advance for her behaviour. She's a little socially awkward!)) EilÃs had spent the heated midday hours lounging on a tree-branch high above the forest floor below. Because she lived a simple life she had no errands to run, no people to see. She didn't even really know any people, aside from a few friendly faces in the marketplace at Avalon and that was saying something. She's heard through the grapevine that people were a lot more tolerant of those with magical ability nowadays. Whilst the news was good â€" and, if it were true, then the realm was finally coming to its senses â€" EliÃs didn't think she was going to chance it any time soon. Lazily dangling her shapely legs over the sides of the branch as she munched on an apple she had found fallen from a wild tree, EliÃs blinked when she heard a shout below. A man crashed through the underbrush, looking for all the world as though he was chasing something or someone. With a frown crossing her pale features, EliÃs shifted herself from the branch she had employed for the better half of the summer's afternoon. A series of quick, expertly executed actions saw her grabbing this bough and that, swinging herself down through the trees until she was close enough to get a good view of the stranger and â€" more importantly â€" a good look at the barrage of broken bushes and other damage he was leaving in his wake. Without any hesitation EliÃs plucked an arrow from the quiver strapped to her back, loosing the deadly missile through the air like a lightning bolt that zipped right past the stranger's head. “You have a lot of teeth for a miscreant, friend,†she advised him in a cold tone from the tree branch she was perched on not far away. “Is there a reason in particular that made you decide to wreck those bushes, or are you simply feeling destructive?â€

As he ran through bushes trying to follow his past an arrow flew right passed him. Keleth could feel the wind blaze right past his face and knew it was a sign of warning but for what he asked himself as he turned around in confussion. As he turned himself around he found a lovely lady that seemed to blend it with the forest and was pointing a bow an arrow at him. Hearing this lady accusing him for damaging the bushes he had destroyed as he was running made him smile and knew it was all a misunderstanding. Looking up at the women he smiled once more and began to speak, "I mean you no harm. I was just following two kids that went past this way. I was in a rush and surely didn't mean to cause destruction on these bushes. Though you shouldn't be eager to try to get rid of me because I too have some tricks up my sleeve that will cause you harm and I don't want that to happen. Lets forget this ever happen and start over... My name is Keleth Silverkin and you are?" He spoke as he raised his hands to assure the lady that he ment her no harm. Keleth had hope she got the message that he was a mage and knew magic incase she decided to attack once again which would give Keleth the reason to fight back with his magic which he didn't want to do because he is trying to chase himself through these forest. In his mind he wanted to laugh because who chases themselves in a forest, no one but him. Smiling back at the lady he raised his hand for a hand shake hoping she would too.

The fool's smile only served to infuriate EilÃs all the more. She kept her bow poised, an arrow ready and waiting to be loosed should he set another foot wrong in her domain. EilÃs looked upon the forest as quite her own, even though in theory it belonged to Uther Pendragon. Her hair was a tumble of ebony curls interwoven with a sprig of thorny bracken and a wayward owl's feather and her bright blue eyes were piercing as she kept them trained on the man that had infuriated her with his folly. She had seen no children come through here! Therefore, he was lying. He had another purpose in Balor, and she intended to find out what that purpose was.
“First you tell me that you mean me no harm and then you threaten me in the same breath,†she declared hotly. “If I were you, I'd be more concern about my intentions toward yourself, considering that I'm the one who's armed.†Narrowing her gaze, EilÃs decided that it might not be a bad idea to put some distance between herself and this man, just in case he came good on his promise to use the 'tricks up his sleeve'. Blurring her form, she scrambled further up into the tree where the leaves seemed to fold around her, providing an excellent protective covering that she hoped would hide her mostly from his view.
“I am Phae, the wood nymph,†she told him in an imperious tone from her hiding place. Her voice was contained by the surrounding trees, making it seem to echo from several places at once. His smile was off-putting, to say the least. Perhaps she could have a little fun of her own. “Why do you come into my forest, Keleth Silverkin?â€

Keleth kept smiling toward the female but then he figured he shouldn't have stirred the pot with fire when the pot was already filled with fire. With a second glance at the female she had vanished in just seconds as leaves formed around her and soon there was nothing to be seen. But he could hear the echos of her voice surrounding him from all around him which got him a little ticked because he didn't know who to talk to. Keleth kept moving in a circle as the wood nymph introduced her self as Phae and asked why was he in her forest. Growing a little annoyed he wanted to stop these magic tricks she was doing but knew he couldn't because this was her terrean and she could do anything to make things worse. "Last time I've checked these forests are for everyone to come along.....I'm here because I thought I might be able to find something about my past here, that will give me answers." He shouted out as he finally stopped going in a circle and just stared up at the trees hoping Phae would hear him.
"Keleth this way, follow me....were almost to the other camp....time to get our victory in Camp Wars!" A young kids voice was heard as two young boys ran passed Keleth and went deeper into the forest. Keleth's smile was dropped as he stared at the two young boys as they ran passed him. He was frozen and couldn't move, "No, its a trap...." Keleth mumbled under his breath. That day was the day when they lost the camp wars to girls and had plenty of battle scars to prove they lost. More images from his past flooded his mind as he almost wanted to cry in pain for he had missed his family and childhood friends. Keleth had forgot that Phae was still around him and shook his head and placed a smile on his face to cover up his sadness that seem to come out of him from the images floating around in this forest.

Strange creature, smiling when in danger and almost as if not realising she had the upper hand. EilÃs watched the man, her head dipping curiously to one side and her bow slowly lowering. She sensed something about him that told her he wasn't really a bad person, though it was so difficult to tell the difference these days. A feeling of loss permeated his odd behaviour, one that EilÃs could easily identify with. It was a loss of family. Now the man had her attention. She was mildly concerned about his state of mind, for she had seen no children pass by. But, if he grieved then perhaps she could find a small way to console him. He obviously couldn't help being stupid enough to encroach on her forest.
She moved quickly onto a lower branch, her bare feet sure of themselves as they traversed the rough bark pathway. The simple white linen tunic that she wore this afternoon was almost indecently short, belted at the waist with a piece of twine she had found at an abandoned camp. It was little things like this - small remnants of a mainstream lifestyle â€" that EilÃs treasured. While she loved being at one with nature and enjoying that close bond that only living a clean existence could produce, there was a small part that still lived within her that longed for acceptance by the one race that denied her. Her own.
“Wait,†she said, her tone genuine as she felt sorry for misleading the poor, unwell man. “You have a past here?†She looked at him from her branch, her bow now re-slung across her back and one arm reaching up to grasp a branch above her for balance.

Trying to focus back onto the subject he turned his head and looked up into the trees, the echoing had stopped and he could hear Phae from just one place. "Yes, I have a past here. I was a druid in a small camp in this forest. I was 10 when the camp was attacked with flames." Keleth spoke as he nodded his head slowly. Wondering to himself if Phae knew anything about the day, or if his family was alive or anything but the thought just made him want to laugh because how would she know anything about his past she was just a wood nymph. "I'm sorry your hearing my stupid past story, I should leave and not bother you anymore." Keleth spoke out thinking only negative thoughts. He turned around hoping that maybe Phae knew something so he could stay.

EilÃs felt her heart come to a sudden halt when the man told her that he was a Druid. The sound of a camp full of magical folk did nothing to quell the anger she felt towards the King, and for a horrible moment she was reminded of how she wasn't the only person to suffer during his war against magic. Any concern she might have held with regards to the man was now dispelled. She moved quickly through the tree she occupied, her careful hand grips and clever placement of her feet bringing her to a low-lying branch. From there she was able to make a small drop onto a moss covered embankment, now nearly at eye level with him.
Uther Pendragon had a lot to answer for. The lives and hearts he had torn asunder could never heal so long as the tyrant breathed, of that EilÃs was absolutely certain. She had heard much of his son also and was saddened to think that the next King of Camelot sounded to be every bit as ruthless, both in terms of prowess and lack of compassion, as his sire was now.
“I see,†she murmured, her oceanic eyes filled with pity and understanding. “Perhaps there is something I can do to help you, Keleth Silverkin.â€

Keleth then could hear a tree branch being lowered and next thing he knew Phae was in front of him on a lowered branch staring at him. He could feel the pity and understanding within her voice, which gave Keleth the feeling of warmth and the trust he could have with this wood witch. Looking at her, Keleth gave a smile and nodded to her, "You think you could maybe take me to the village? Maybe there is something still there or not. I feel these images that I see of children who is my best friend and myself are telling me to follow them but also it could mean i'm insane!" Keleth spoke out in regards to Phae comment about helping him. Though Keleth should know by now that after 7 years his village would be know more but trees and dirt but there was hope. Hope was all Keleth could really do at this point in time. Maybe he will find something, maybe Phae will help find him answers. All could Keleth do was hear his thoughts and questions in his head making him more excited to find answers.

She did not return the man's smile, but the mere fact that she had actually revealed herself to him showed a great deal of trust; the most that she supposed she was capable of without many months of acquaintance. She was a flighty creature, living her life entirely upon whims and passion, and she was not sorry for it. EilÃs had no idea where his village was, or whether or not there were any survivors from the fires that had been set upon them like a hungry dragon but she was suddenly determined to find out.
“I can try to help you, Keleth Silverkin. But first, you must tell me in which part of the forest lies this past camp? How long ago did you leave it?†EilÃs tried not to think about the comment he had made in relation to his possible madness; it was something that made her feel distinctly uncomfortable. If such a thing were the case, then she would have to find someone to turn the poor man over to. She could hardly leave him wandering the forest alone, chasing shadows.

Trying to think the last time he was in the forest with his family but everything seemed to be white in his head. Keleth couldn't remember which way his camp was but then he forgot that the images of himself and his best friend were leading him somewhere. "I can't remember where my camp was at last but I do remember it was about 7 years ago this all happen..." He spoke to Phae as he tried to remember more things about his camp. "This way Keleth!" A young boy said as he passed through Keleth and straight toward him which lead a path into the forest. "I believe my camp might be this way..." Keleth spoke out letting Phae know as he sprinted straight forward following what was his image of his best friend.

The fact that the man's camp had existed seven years ago and had been destroyed by fire didn't do much to inspire confidence in them finding it now. She was, after all, a Druid however and he had been too, once upon a time. It would be a disservice to her kindred if she didn't do everything within her power to help this man find the answers he was seeking. She had been about to think of a spell to lead them through the forest when something seemed to capture the man's attention and he leapt forward, running through the forest. It was all she could do to catch up to him. Soon, however, she fell into pace and followed him through her position amongst the treeline. Her breath was regulated and even, and in this manner she was able to keep up a good speed. There was no time for talking and she trailed behind in Keleth's wake, wondering if he was really just chasing shadows or there was something to these supposed visions he had.

After a few minutes running through bushes and endless dirt roads, the images soon faded away as Keleth found himself in a large opening with nothing but dirt. Looking around he took a few steps forward and soon felt warm through out his body. Flames erupted all around him, he could feel the massive fire burning his once village to the ground.
Screams were being heard through out the village, while the rest of the camp scrambled to make it out of the fire. There Keleth just stood their as everyone went passed him running away from the fire, his home was being destroyed in front of him once again. Yet Keleth couldn't do anything about it. Something was different though he could feel the fire around him surrounding him and enclosing him. "Mum?" He shouted was the only thing Keleth could shout but relizing he was not a kid anymore he knew this was some sort of trap, shaking his head trying to get the image out of his head but nothing would go away. The image of fire was really real or it seemed real to Keleth. Turning his body around he tried to look for Phae but he couldn't see her at all.
"Keleth, why you afraid? Remember me, i'm your best friend. We can finally be able to play with each other once again. Just touch my hand and everything will be ok!" A young boy stood in front of the real Keleth as he lowered his hand to him. Keleth was indeed confused by his best friend standing in front of him. He thought he died in the fire but he is alive now? Keleth almost felt at ease when he was reassured from his best friend everything would be okay if he just took his hand. Though if anyone esle were there watching the scene unfold they would only see an spirit of some sort that seemed to look like it was on fire holding its hand out.
(sorry havent responded in a while...and hopefully this isn't too confusing for you)

Somehow she had lost him through the tangle of bushes and trees that were the embodiment of the forest. She knew not how or exactly when, but it wasn't until she heard a shout that EilÃs was able to turn once again in the right direction. Her quick pace and sure-footedness were her allies in such an hour as this, and it was not long before she came upon the man once again. The young woman was too late to see anything of the spectres that so tormented Keleth, but the image of the man standing alone in the dirt clearing spurned her onwards.
“What's happening?†she asked him, feeling a little frightened. He was an unpredictable person, and had shown that he was a little bit disturbed. Had he lured her out into the deep forest in order to attack her? She could see no one there that might have incited him to yell. “Is this where your camp used to be?†EilÃs asked uneasily.
