Katlyn was in her absolute element. She was dressed up to the nines in a beautiful red dress, that fitted her slim frame perfectly and hugged every curve in a way that she knew most men would find attractive. Her loosely curled hair was down, and trailed across her shoulders, which her dress left bare.
It seemed strange to be walking into a ball via the front doors, but tonight there was no need to hide for everyone was in disguise. She just hadn't worked out exactly who she was tonight. Noble or peasant?
She trotted up the steps quickly, an expert in high heeled shoes these days and very eager to get to the party. But as she did so, something caught her attention and turning to look she tripped, falling head first down towards the concrete.
Would anybody save her?

Raven was outside getting some air. The night was wonderful and she loved it. She saw a girl running up the stairs but the girl slipped and fell. Raven panicked. She rushed over to the girl. Kneeling down, she held the girl's head. "Are you alright?" she asked. Raven looked around but saw no one. "I can heal you if you wish." Raven smiled. OOC Outfit

Katlyn blinked back tears as she felt her head hit the concrete but the pain wasn't half as bad as the embarrassment she felt. She was relieved to find Lady Raven came to her aid, and awkwardly she sat up smiling back at the dark haired witch.
"I think I'm ok thankyou." She rubbed her temple, finding nothing but a tender lump- nothing too serious. "I could do with a hand getting up though?" She laughed, struggling to her feet.
"Katlyn Blake by the way!" She held out a hand and re-fitted her mask.

"Let us stay out here for a while. I'm Lady Raven Silvester." she said. Raven muttered something and lavender and roses appeared out of nowhere.

Katlyn squealed as roses landed in her outstretched hand and the smell of lavender climbed through the night air. "You have magic!" she proclaimed, clenching her skirt with her free hand and twisting it in circles as she always did when excited.
There were two things in life that Katlyn loved. Magic and Nobles. Here she had apparently found both.
"Can you do other magic?" She asked happily.

Raven nodded. She looked up at the stars and they moved into the shape of a swan. "There." she smiled. She looked at Katlyn. "Do you have any requests?" she asked.

Katlyn's mouth gaped open as she watched the stars move into the shape of an elegant swan. She was amazed that anyone could have such power- she certainly didnt, and although it amazed her she was quite glad.
Magic wasn't unheard of out where she lived, but generally the farm hands didnt show any signs of having any special abilities and so she lived a normal life with no unexpected twists or turns. When she did come across someone like Raven she wanted to learn all she could as fast as she could.
"Can you change anything on me? Disguise me or something?" Her eyes shone wildly as she waited for a reply.

Raven thought for a second. Then clicked her fingers. She changed Kat's dress into a beautiful lilac colour that spread out. A veil came across her face and a purple eye mask covered her eyes. Raven looked at the fountain and flicked her hand up. The water rose and became more reflective than usual. "Take a look and tell me what you think, my dear." she smiled.

"Oh wow!" Katlyn breathed as she caught sight of the water which had suddenly become more beautiful that usual. Unknowingly, she trotted over to the edge of the fountain and lent over gazing at her reflection.
The sight which greeted her shocked her to the core. She had had no idea that Raven had changed her so much! Her dress was far more beautiful than any Kat could have made and the mask looked like it might have belonged to the Queen of Camelot once upon a time.
"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!" she squealed, running up to Raven and embracing her in a tight hug. "I dont think anyone has ever worn such a lovely dress!"

Raven smiled as Kat hugged her. "Oh and one more thing." she said. She snapped her fingers again and amythest encrusted slippers appeared on Kat's feet. "Listen, magic doesn't last forever so once this night is through and dawn comes the spell will break. Kind of like a Cinderella deal. I like to help those in need. So you could say I'm a Fairy Godmother." Raven chuckled. She got out a pendent. It was in the shape of a cresent moon. "If you shall ever need me call my name through this pendent and I will be with you. Bad or good I shall come." she promised.

Katlyn squeezed her toes against the bottom of the slippers as they appeared on her feet, thrilled and just a little apprehensive about it all. This magic stuff was incredible! She thought, listening to Ravens words of advice.
"Well, let this not be the last we see of one another Lady Raven." She smiled, closing her fingers over the pendant that the witch placed in her hand. "Thank you for all of this!" She twirled, laughing as her skirts floated around her before darting off into the ballroom.
What a truly amazing gift...
