Outside the Castle of Camelot, baskets of Hammers and rows of targets littered the grounds in preperation for the competition. Each participant gets three hammers each in their attempts to hit the inner red circle of the Archery board and gain victory! But it's not all about the winning, it's the taking part that matters, right?
This thread will be RPed as a competition. Anyone who wants to participate should write a fairly short post detailing their attempt. When the week ends admin will discuss everyones posts and choose a winner! The results will be posted here and in a separate thread after the festival week ends.
Good Luck!

Adela wandered around the castle grounds, this week tons of games were going to be set up. Adela saw rows of targets and baskets of hammers. Adela walked towards the place and got her 3 hammers. She took her first one and missed the target by several feet, Adela threw the second one, and hit the very outside rim of the target. On her last throw, Adela took a long time to set up her aim. Gently she threw the last one and it hit the middle of the target. "I DID IT"[/u]

This had been the very event Tristan had been most-looking forward to. King Uther's birthday was one very important ceremonial event and that meant one thing. Citizens and Nobles of Camelot would be joint together for celebrate this date which meant Competitions open for all. The Hammer-throwing was something he was feeling incredibly smug about, for he had done many similar things in his training to become a knight. Throwing daggers at dart-boards, smoke-bombs at targets, throwing hammers at an archery board would be no challenge for him surely?
But unlike some, Tristan was nnt here to win, simply to participate and occupy some of his spare time between overlooking Uther's birthday event security.
Waiting for his turn, he awaited in line until he faced the archery board, around 10 metres away. Grabbing three, individual hammers he aligned himself up and placed two feet sturdily apart. Wincing one eye, he arched his back and transferred the weight between legs, before flinging one of the hammers straight infront of him and to the board. It hit just of center. With an excited smirk, he prepared his stance for another go, yet this time deliberately moving two paces to the right so he would miss the next shot.
Third and final hammer, he moved back to his previous spot and flicked his wrist watching as the Hammer sumersaulted several times in the air before hitting the centre again. Not intended to be perfect, but insanely fun nonetheless!
