King Man's Birthday Bash

Dear Citizens of Camelot,

All of you should have received an invitation to Uther's birthday celebrations by PM, but if you're a newer character who hasn't, I'll quickly summarise.

Uther is hitting the big 5 0 and the entire Kingdom will be suitably celebrating their King's Birthday!

Previous years about this time, we've held site harvest feasts and bonfires, but this festival is going to be a bit different! We're basing it a bit on the festival of fools (if you've seen disney's hunchback of notre dame then you'll know what I mean) It may not be exactly medieval, but it will be fun to RP.

The castle grounds and town will be suitably decorated and open to all. Everyone is expected to wear masks and costume. Lows and paupers can dress in finery, nobles can dress down, women can dress as men. It's a chance for everyone to take on a different personality, and meet people that otherwise they wouldn't necessarily meet!

The celebrations will start next Saturday (23rd) and run for a week. All the celebration threads will be open to everyone, and will be posted as announcements so should be easy to find.

Also, please note, the Brotherhood will not be permitted any sort of sabotage, but they are of course allowed to attend. It will perhaps be a chance for them to talk to the royals that they despise, and find out a bit more about them.
