A wispy fog hung over the city of Camelot, enveloping it in a shroud of mist that engulfed all who wandered through. Birds busily chirped their merry morning songs, overlooking those walking underneath with shy and insightful eyes. Camelot was just waking up, getting ready to get on with their busy days of work, foraging, gathering and tending to their children. The mornings were Casalynn's favourite time of the day, for there was something soothing to the soul about mornings- it seemed to settle her more than the busy depths of the day or the eerily quiet times of the night. Plus, mornings held plenty more opportunity to cause mischief, which was the main reason why she lay currently hiding behind one of the bushes overlooking the city square.
After having been away from the homely city for what felt like months, she felt now was the opportune moment to announce her arrival for she had missed the place enormously. Camelot not only held many of her fonder memories, but also those of the darker times and for that reason she had decided to go on her travels in order to clear her head for when she decided to return hopefully fresh and ready for a new start. Wandering around the city of Gore, of Mercia, venturing through Ealdor and commuting to Western Europe she had followed a boomerang route to lead her back to the place she knew and loved so much.
Everything around her so seemed friendly, familiar and warm, filling her with inner confidence she would otherwise be without. None of this however had tarnished her mischievous streak and with a sly smile she withdrew a hand-made catapult and a basket of rotten fruit and apples in order to dispense at her leisure. With an intention of causing trouble, she had prepared the night before and was now poised in position ready for the next person who happened to walk past. It was all just for fun of course. Slightly more on her part than the people caught up in her little mischievous act.
With weapon of mass destruction in hand, she placed one of the apples in the leather bounds and sat in the long grass like a stealthy lion waiting for its prey. It didn’t take long for a small crowd of Camelot Guards to walk past – a perfect target. Casalynn effortlessly withdrew one of the apples from the catapult, watching as it connected with speed towards one of the guards shin plates before grabbing another and releasing. Ping. The rotten apple flew directly towards a gauntlet one of the guards wielded. Ping. Another apple sliced through the air slapping one guard square in the face. Ping, Ping. A double shot, two apples rose into the air before she uttered a command in a distant tone to make them part and hit two separate guards at once.
“Neádian toberan stíeran”
At this points the guards were alert to attack and began withdrawing their swords, eyes darting in all different directions. Due to the poundings of rotten fruit however, they were beginning to lose their bearings meaning it took them longer than usual to retaliate. A wide smile began to grow on Casalynn’s face and before parting she was going to leave one last gift.
“Gewealdan”
A fallen washing line spread across the ground began to rise, gliding across the floor until it tripped over all those who stood in its way. The clatter and clanging of armoured plates and falling swords began to infiltrate her ears, the groaning of full grown men hitting the ground was her signal to make a hasty exit to make sure she wasn’t the one accountable for this. Before finally departing though, she threw a sideward glance to gain full satisfaction of her reign of mischief.
“Oh god it’s good to be back!”

Many days and nights had passed since returning to Camelot to fulfil her promise to King Uther. This time she had kept her side of the promise and worked incredibly hard to make up for all the jobs she missed, from washing to cleaning and from making beds to preparing foods Selena Fireheart continued her service to Castle Camelot and the royal Pendragon family. All sometimes she over worked herself and spent some restless nights within the servants quarters, however she expected this and not once did she complain.
A life of a servant is truly hard to endure but Selena had always said to herself "The fires of life burns forever in my heart". This was what her father used to say many years ago. It was basically a longer word for never giving up, when she returned to Camelot she was welcomed by the other servants and eventually rose up to the rank of Mage within the Mages Guild thanks to its leader Merlin and the training she endured for days on end.
After her training was complete Selena felt more confident and believed in her connection to Nature with all her heart. Now she was a little older and wiser within her mind, deep into the heart of Castle Camelot Selena slowly picked herself up from her bed and sat on the edge. Another day had arrived and many more things had to be done but despite this Selena felt abit excited and found the art of working to be enjoyable. Slowly standing up she looked out of the window and noticed a fog had crept up on the city and cloaked within its eerie mist.
With a smile she quickly headed back to her duties. But felt confident to leave her hooded cloak behind, immediately she exited the servants and headed outside. Selena could feel the gentle chill in the air but that didn't bother her one bit. Wearing a long flowing bright red dress she marched down the courtyard and headed into the City Square. It was there that she noticed several guards mumbling about some rotten fruit being thrown at them from different directions. Not to mention being tripped over by a washing line with no one there, it could only mean that magic was afoot somewhere.
Following orders from the castle Selena went to look at some of the stalls and purchased some necessary supplies for the kitchen. Even though she could use magic to ease her burden Selena used the old fashion way and now held a basket filled with fresh fruit and vegetables, with a smile of gratitude she slowly headed northwards towards the castle. But stopped due to hearing some breathing behind some bushes that had over looked the city square, as she looked into it she noticed Casalynn the very first person she met while being a servant of Castle Camelot.
It had been days and weeks since she had last seen Casalynn. Now things were different and Selena had grown up allot due to her training, she had heard that her friend had left Camelot just like Selena did and she too looked stronger. With a smile she looked around making sure no one was watching and soon she looked down into the bushes and said "Its good to have you back". Selena said with a smile of respect towards the bush that hid Casalynn.
Selena had always respected Casalynn's heart. And now after many days and nights the two friends were back and stronger then ever both physically and mentally.

Casalynn was not expecting to be spotted just yet. She was meaning to make a hasty retreat with catapult and basket of absent rotten apples in hand yet she had been rumbled. "Its good to have you back". Or not. The tone of voice sounded familiar, like a distant memory coming back into view. Her brain had to fumble around boxes of hidden and unopen memories until she finally remember it was Selena. Selena Fireheart, one of the servants in the Castle of Camelot, how could she possible forget? She had been one of her first friends since visiting this foreign town and now it felt like she had truly come home, hopefully not to leave any time soon.
When Casalynn raised her head from ground level, her initial prognosis of who it was was confirmed. She smiled warmly, being sure no one that was around had saw her previously. Standing up and brushing herself down, removing any bit of debree or dirt she had caught off the floor she emerged out of her chosen area of hiding and happily greeted Selena. It felt like so long since she had last seen her, it was almost exciting to cross paths again after the last time. Being gone so long herself, she had many questions to ask of Selena to see how she had been and what life in Camelot held since she had been gone.
"Selena! Hello, it seems ages since we last met! How've you been?" She asked with a broad smile, brushing the falling strands of hair from her face. Cass secured the fruit basket held in her hand, swiftly throwing the catapult to be concealed in the basket to hide the evidence. "And I can explain about the whole... um, actually nevermind." She brushed off the whole event, chosing not to explain herself instead carry on with the reunion between two friends.
"How's life as a Servant?" Casalynn asked, not being able to contain her numerous questions but knowing she should put a cap on it otherwise her enthusasm would overwhelm the girl.

Phantom looked around with boredom. Another day...that was all...another day to be lonely. Another day to think, another day just to think back to the old times. Shaking his head in despair Phantom leaned against the tree and sighed. Closing his eyes he had a flashback of the day he went back to Mercia to visit Ranger and his mother. They had never seen him since the day in the stables. As he walked up to the hut he knocked and heard Ranger hurrying to the door. He opened it and opened his mouth to speak, no words came out. "Little brother, what has happened to your face? Why do you where a mask?" Ranger asked regaining his voice. Hearing Ranger's strange question his mother came to the door and stared at him uneasily. "Erik, can you please take that mask off?" she asked him smiling uncertainly. He had shaken his head saying, "No..." Despite his desperate protests Range grinned and jokingly grabbed the mask and took it off... Phantom tore himself from the flashback but went right back into... His mother had screamed and pulled Ranger inside the house. Ranger had dropped the mask and pulled back in fright. The door slammed in Erik's face and with tears welling up in his eyes he put the mask back and went back to Camelot...he never saw his family again... Now as he leaned agaisnt the tree Phantom felt a soft tear running down his cheek. He wiped it away with a snort of anger. He saw the two ladies a little ways off. He brought the hood of his cloak up onto his head and turned a way from them. He hoped they hadn't seen him...

(Yay, thank you for joining! Selena doesn't seem to be very active at the moment and I'm not sure if she's just busy or if she's left the site so I'll just have Casalynn have finished her conversation with Selena unless she comes back xD)
Casalynn bowed her head elegantly to Selena as they both parted ways once more. It was nice to catch up after so long, it must have been months since they had last spoken and since she had took flight from the homely comfines of Camelot to venture to new pastures. It had given her time to recover atleast and she had returned a new women, free from her former insecurities and frailties being stronger and more self-reassured than ever. She just hoped her confidence wasn't knocked again from its peak as it had a tendancy to happen to her.
Casalynn gathered her dark green cloak from around her legs in prevention of her tripping over it, raising her hood slightly as she walked away from her friend. The early mornings sun was beginning to raise overhead, it's heat shining on all of those who happened to be out for a wander as it illumintaed their path and shunned the darkness. The whispy fog that had once hung in the air had now all but disappitated yet the bitter cold wind was still keen to be felt. But other than that the day was turning out to be a pleasant one.
Slight stains of splattered apple lingered on her light golden dress, being still evident on her clothes so an avoidance of Camelot's guards was going to be the best cause of action. It would take them no time at all for them to pinpoint her presence there on the attack of the guards, yet it had been fun all the same. Just as the thought entered her mind, her keen eyes darted over to a small band of Pendragon crest wearing guards so she was quick to direct feet to another cause of direction. Her rather large cloak for her small frame though meant the hood that was hiding her features hindered her view more than anything else. She was reduced to lowering her head in hope nothing would cross her path as she wandered on out of the gaze of the guards.
Power-walking slightly, Casalynn took a sly look back behind her shoulder to check she had gone unnoticed, that was until she felt herself collide with an object. Or a person. Her head automatically whipped round, ready to defend herself, being the ever wary person that she was. "Sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going, I should be more careful" Casalynn said in an apology, lowering her hood from her brunnette hair and placing it back on her shoulders so she could actually see.
Her curious gaze however was met by the eyes of a masked man and she was met with the decision of whether to go on her way or whether to find out more about this intrigueing stranger. It made her wonder as to the reason he was wearing the mask, yet held back her curious questions in fear she might offend him or seem too nosy. It was his business after all and not hers; she had not qualms with the fact. "Casalynn, pleased to meet you. Again I apologise for being so clumsy, my head was elsewhere." She smiled politely, taking a small glance behind her once more to check the guards were long gone.

Phantom looked at the lady. She had introduced herself as Casalynn, and she had spoken politely. Before she had given him her name he felt her eyes linger on the mask for a moment. Shaking the thought off, Phantom forced a smile and replied, "Most call me, Phantom." That was the best he could do without giving to much about himself away. He had preferred the moment alone, but now since Casalynn was standing in front of him apologizing for bumping into him, he knew he could not just walk away. He spoke once more, "I accept your apologizes..." He trailed off, what else could he say? He was not a person who took pride in words spoken. He just said them, most simply, not fancy like some insisted. He gave Casalynn a long look and decided maybe she wasn't one to dwell on words.

"Most call me, Phantom."
"Then Phantom is what I shall call you" Casalynn said as a means for response as he too introduced himself. She hoped she wasn't keeping him from tending to other duties as she didn't wish to delay him any further. Not wanting to be rude however she lingered in front of him as he accepted her apology for so clumsily stumbling into his path. At least he was of forgiveness and not blurting out what a ridiculous and unworthy women she was; she was far out from a typical wife type yet that had been the way she had always been. She hated to follow the stereotypics and instead of sitting at him knitting and cooking she preferred to be out and about, doing her own things insubistitute for being ordered around.
"Thank you. I'll let you get on with your duties. Good day Sir" Casalynn bowed her head slightly to him in respect, and once again raised her hood as she took a step forward away from him in order to carry on with her pointless stroll. Except straight ahead of her, the band of lurking soldiers were still on patrol looking out for the rebellious vandal and were seconds away from staring her square in the face. Eyes widened slightly, Casalynn turned on her heel and looked back towards her new acquintance, closing the gap between them once more. She put her back towards the soldiers so she would remain out of their gaze and took a step in the opposite direction to them.
Beginning to realize now it may look a little odd, she knew she'd have to say something so she didn't look quite so as she had lost her bearings or was trying to blantantly avoid the guards. "Would you be so kind as to direct me to the Inn? I seem to have lost my way" She hoped he would buy this, for she knew full well where she was and how to get to her destination yet maybe if she had someone with her it would reduce her chance of getting caught. "I understand if you are busy" She said in an offer for him to decline if he saw fit. As she was waiting for a reply, she was quick to take another glance behind her shoulder to see that they were still there.

Phantom gave her a curt nod as she went to walk away. After a few steps he saw her stop. Curious at why she stopped he glanced around her shoulder and saw the group of soldiers. He watched as she turned back to him and he raised an eyebrow.
"Would you be so kind as to direct me to the Inn? I seem to have lost my way"
As she asked he looked at her, his right eyebrow still raised slightly. He didn't particularly want to show her the way, but he decided not to be rude. He was about to reply, but she beat him too it.
"I understand if you are busy"
He chuckled softly at the thought of being busy. "Me, busy? Hardly likely." he paused realizing he hadn't answered her first question, "If you wish to find you're way to the inn, then I would say follow me." He turned to walk away, but looked back at her to make sure she was coming. Knowing that she just wanted to find a way so the soldiers wouldn't see her the corners of his mouth turned up in a very small smile, "Trust me, you do not want to run into those soldier."

Casalynn studied his face for a second, her curious eyes following his movements as he rasied a single eyebrow upon her request. Maybe he had seen through her transparent question? She could have been a little more subtle and a lot less obvious to the fact she was trying to avoid the Guards, yet she wasn't always so discreet. Not being honest, being decietful and sly hadn't always been apart of her personality and she struggled to uphold them without wilting or giving herself away. She wanted to reform though; change herself for the better so she was walked all over and stood upon no more. And what better to do this than a revolt?
Me, busy? Hardly likely."
Few, at least he wasn't busy so she wasn't holding him away from any matters that he would be best attending to. The way that he so incrediously brushed this comment of his shoulder though seemed to incinuate being busy was such a foreign concept. Yet maybe she jad just misinterpreted this casual remark. He had offered to show her the way and that was all that mattered, and if she was being completely honest she was quite glad for the company. She had never liked being alone and even though the occasional long strolls out by herself were enjoyable; she much rather enjoyed having someone by her side.
"Lead the way" Casalynn said with an appreciative smile, putting her hand out in front of her to signal him to walk in front for she 'supposidely' didn't know the way. Phantom seemed like a nice man, directing her and escorting her to the inn when many a man would have turned his back and would have been more inclined to see her struggle than actually lend a hand. So for that she was thankful. It wasn't until his next comment that saw the smile on her face slightly falter, before it slowly rose again as she realised she had been rumbled.
"I'm not sure I do." She responded back simply, choosing not to relay anymore information about her previous encounter with them that morning; she didn't want him to think she was some thug or criminal wandering the streets of Camelot. "You sound like you talk from experience? I have to say I've had my fair share of getting into trouble so I'm not one to judge.." She said as she began to set a steady pace in junxion with Phantom as she walked by his side and slowly made her way further and further away from the guards.

"I'm not sure I do."
"Of course you don't." Phantom said without turning to look at her. His eyes forward, walking at a semi-brisk pace.
"You sound like you talk from experience? I have to say I've had my fair share of getting into trouble so I'm not one to judge.."
Phantom turned toward her his eyebrow raising slightly. "Those guards don't have minds bright enough to look in the shadows lurking around them. " he smiled slightly, "No, I've never been seen by them, but I've seen others who were less fortunate."
Despite his usual behavior Phantom rather enjoyed walking with Casalynn. He tried not to, but there was nothing he could do. He just hoped if she ever saw what lie behind the mask she would accept him. He closed his eyes sadly remembering the last time he saw his mother and his brother, Ranger.
Remembering Casalynn he jerked his eyes open hoping she hadn't seen him close them and the sad frown that had changed the straight line of emotionless.
