The following are characters from Merlin and are up for audition on this site. Taken characters are striked out.
The Boys
KING UTHER PENDRAGON
PRINCE ARTHUR PENDRAGON
Prince Arthur is the son and heir of Uther Pendragon. He is a skilled fighter, brave and dashingly handsome. Despite sometimes being accused of haughtiness and arrogance, Prince Arthur relies a lot upon his good friend and servant- Merlin. He can however be extremely bossy to both Merlin and his fathers ward, Morgana, although he usually means no harm. He will one day rule Camelot and many think he will make a more just king than his father. He is also terrible with the ladies...
MERLIN
GAIUS

Gwen is maid to Lady Morgana. Whilst plain in comparison to her mistress; she is very kind and sweet, and fiercely loyal to her friends. Although close to Merlin, Morgana and Arthur, she still lives the poor lifestyle of a servant girl.[/i]
WHILST THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERS HAVE APPEARED IN MERLIN, THEIR BACKGROUNDS AND PERSONALITIES HAVE BEEN CHANGED FOR SITE ROLEPLAY

LANCELOT DU LAC
Lancelot equals Prince Arthur in both fighting skills and good looks, however, he is from a far humbler background. He is Prince Arthur's sparring partner, although the two to not get on, and the fighting often continues outside of the training grounds. Lancelot is also somewhat a hit with the ladies; both the noble women of the court, and the serving girls dote on him. Making him even more of an annoyance to Arthur!
LADY SOPHIA
As soon as she was of age, Sophia was sent to King Uther's court by her father, with the sole intention of courting Arthur. She has high breeding and is both intelligent and accomplished. She is beautiful, although youthful, and inexperienced in the world. She uses any excuse to spend time with Arthur, however so far, her charms have not taken effect!
DAME HELEN
Dame Helen arrived at Camelot's court with a similar intention to Sophia, except she's aiming a generation older! Helen is somewhat of a comic character, buxom and outspoken. She hopes to woo the King in the hope of becoming Camelot's new queen. She is a familiar face around the castle. Her feminine wiles have yet to affect anyone though...
LILITH
Lilith is an entirely new character. She is Gaius' aid, and is training to take over the position of Court Physician when Gaius finally retires. She is also learning to practice magic. She has access to everywhere in the castle, and is good friends with Merlin.
APPLY FOR THESE CHARACTERS IN THE USUAL CHARACTER AUDITION THREAD. REMEMBER TO INCLUDE CANON IN THE TITLE. YOU MAY OBVIOUSLY EXPAND ON THE DESCRIPTIONS GIVEN HERE.

The Boys
King Uther is the ruling monarch of Camelot, and father of Arthur. He is not currently married. Uther is a strong ruler on the throne with a solid hold and definitive outlook on what is right and wrong. However, he is well known for making quick and often harsh decisions. He believes in an old fashioned (well, typically medieval) sense of masculinity; prizing victory in combat, courage and leadership above all else.

Merlin is Prince Arthur's manservant, and ward of Gaius. He is kind, although very accident prone. He has the potential to become a very powerful magician.
GAIUS
Gauis is the court physician, and has saved the lives of numerous inhabitants with his wide knowledge of ailments and disease. Merlin is his ward, and he is in close council with the King.
The Girls
LADY MORGANA LE FAY
[/right]Famed throughout the land for her beauty, Lady Morgana is the ward of King Uther. She is a feisty, high spirited girl with good intentions. She often 'suffers' from magical premonitions during her sleep, and whilst obviously gifted with magic, struggles to control this. Morgana is good friends with her maid, Gwen. She has a turbulent relationship with the Prince, often berating him for his actions, but clearly fond of him at the same time.
