These are just a few notes on how we prefer posts to be written and formatted. If you have any issue with what we ask please PM staff.
These are just a few notes on how we prefer posts to be written and formatted. If you have any issue with what we ask please PM staff.
- Posts should all be written in PAST TENSE- "He threw the ball and ran fast" THIS IS ESSENTIAL
- Posts should be written in the default font, the default colour and the default size
- Posts should not be centered or aligned to the left or right or in block quote. A sentence can be centered if for effect.
- Speech is permitted to be coloured but please refrain from using too many colours, or ones which are difficult to see (we leave this decision up to you!)
- Bold and italics can be used to signify speech or thoughts, but your entire post should not be written like this.
- We ask that where possible, you do not include pictures in posts. Although on occasion this is fine, starting every post with a set of pictures is not something we do on this site.
- Likewise, footers are not necessary and we ask that you refrain from using these if possible. This includes word counts, OOC notes (small notes on occasion ARE permitted) copyright notices and anything else. If you want to state the copyright notice, you can place it in your signature.
- Posts that are written in microsoft word prior to publishing them on here may show up with funny symbols instead of " marks. YOU WILL NOT SEE THESE but everyone else will, and it makes posts VERY hard to read! Please read my post on how to turn these off or pm me. Alternatively you can write posts in wordpad or notepad.
