There are the rules you must obey while you travel about Camelot:
– Do not steal other people’s writings or artwork.
– Do not ruin other people’s storylines.
– Do not SPAM! For a definition of spam, see the "Roleplay Etiquette" section.
– Honour and obey those who are of a higher ranking than yourself, as would be appropriste when IC - for example, a servant would be respectful to Prince Arthur (At least to his face )
– No explicit language when IC. If commenting out of character, clearly label 'OOC'. (occasional use of swear words is allowed if *'s are used.)
– Stay IC where appropriate.
– If someone offends you on the site, as tempting as it may be, please do not write offensive messages back but report them to a member of Staff.
– We would recommend that your character participates in no more than three in-character threads at a time, but this is only a guideline.
– Roleplay is conducted in the past tense and the third person.
– Please try to keep spelling and grammar accurate, although you will not be penalized if you make occasional mistakes.
– No one-liner replies when posting IC.
- No power-playing or godmoding. (See the Roleplay Etiquette thread for definitions of these)
- SEX IS NOT PERMITTED. Mild gore is accepted but anything admin deem inappropriate will be deleted.
- We (The Staff) reserve the right to permanently ban any member who violates any of these rules.
- We ask that every member has an avatar displaying a picture of their character. We prefer if the picture is semi-realistic and not anime - just a personal preference for this particular board (: And please do remember that this site is aimed at people of a variety of ages, so no unsuitable content in your avatars!
- ONE CHARACTER PER ACCOUNT, yes other sites do it differently, but we prefer it this way. If you wish to make numerous characters, please use seperate accounts.
- Please keep text to the default colour, style and justification. It makes it less distracting to read. We do allow the speech in text to be altered if you wish, preferably bold and not coloured.
The rules are enforced via direct replies to your threads and posts, or through private messaging. We operate on a three strikes and out basis.
Thanks,
The Admin Team.
