Accepted Amedio, I don't think we have an older man on the site, but I'm glad we do now! Your character history was well thought out, and I like your sample roleplay. Welcome to Camelot

"When exactly did you beat me?" Arthur argued, looking behind him to find Avaris catching up with him easily. He urged his own young horse to gallop faster, digging his heel tight against his flanks. "I think you'll find it was all a clever ruse to discover your identity. Oh! Looks like it worked!" He poked his tongue out at her, although in the dark these was always the chance she wouldn't see and laughed. Turning back to face forwards and realising that they were right at the Camelot city gates.
He slowed down and entered past the guards at a gentle trot, who saluted but said nothing. Avaris was lucky to be with Arthur, for a foreign knight would never have been let in easily should they have been alone.

Wow, I really love this character Rachel! The character description is really well thought out. Looking forward to seeing her RP. I'll be happy to set up a Silversmith sub-board in the marketplace if you want, just send me a PM.
Thanks to Avaris for bringing you here!
Welcome to Camelot Branna.

Accepted Eni! I realised you might not have seen the cap on nobility as it was only in the newsfader before I made the udate. I really like Enide's character, and she can always come out of hiding and be switched over to noble when we reopen female nobility for audition If you wish to improve on Enide's magic or fighting skills, you will have to join the Guild/Army respectively. Welcome to Camelot! ((Also, could you reply to this thread if you know Enide's playby?))

Hello citizens of Camelot! First of all, I know many people are busy with revision ( I know I am!) but activity has been great, and posts are of a really high standard. Also welcome to all of our new members, it's great to have you with us If you haven't already, can everyone have a quick read over The Rulebook? It's a riveting read (and very short.) A quick note on posts: We are all for quality over quantity! Please don't feel you have to write really long posts; activity is always better when they're shorter as it's less daunting to reply. It's not a rule as such, but please can everyone keep posts in the default style (ie. colour and justification) Speech can be made bold or italicized for emphasis. It's much less distracting to read that way. Lastly, and this won't affect anyone except new members, we have put a cap on female nobility for the time being, in the interest of getting a good balance between class and gender. We are specifically on the look out for male nobility and brotherhood members/druids/lows. Happy posting all, Big King Love X

Accepted! In order for Daine to be a shapeshifter (without completing any time in the magician's Guild) She'll have to be a druid, it shouldn't effect her history too much at all. Druids are a type of naturally occuring magicians that practise magic outside of the Guild, a band of which live in the forest outside of Camelot. They live a gypsy sort of lifestyle. They could be that magicians you met who helped you control your power? Also, you may wish to PM/RP with Nimiane who is our other shape-shifting druid I'll put you down as a stable hand. Elizabeth Severn is our Stable Master. Welcome to Camelot!

I really enjoyed reading your application Amira- Elaine is accepted! The idea of her being cursed is really original, and I look forward to see how she will interact with other characters.
If Elaine wishes to advance her magic; she will have to join the Guild. (Obviously we cannot accept too many powerful magicians straight off, although from Elaine's backstory I understand she has had a lot of time to hone her magic and that it fits with her character.)

If any of you guys are in an advertsising mood, why not post our ad on some RPGs (If you're not sure we've advertised there before, always select the 'First Time' option, just to make sure.) [Replying on behalf of Arthur]
The Prince looked up as a young girl entered his office; he noted the weapons she was carrying, and nodded in approval of her salute.
"Your name?" he inquired, "And which division do you wish to train in?" Arthur liked to second guess which division applicants were applying for before they told him, but in this instance, he couldn't tell what the girl before him would say. Arthur waited for her to answer, before inquiring- "Why?" It was always good to get a bit of background on recruits, and find out why they were applying.

Accepted Sarah, Avaris seems like a really interesting character from your description. As she is both magical and a fighter; I would say she should join either the Army or the Guild, however as she is a bit of a rouge I would suggest maybe joining the Brotherhood? Avaris can train both her magic and fighting skills there It's fine by me (Merlin) for her to briefly know Arthur and Morgana, but you'll need to run it past them so they know if you plan on RPing with them. Welcome to Camelot!
