Mystic Falls is a rather ordinary small town in Virginia. Like most small towns it has a rich history going back to the civil war. It's a town that sees generation after generation of the same families, and lives lived out in the same patterns. A town that passes it's secrets down from generation to generation, with the Founding Families keeping not only control but the safety of their town.

One such family is the Gilbert's. With their own secrets, and now tragedy. The parents killed in an accident the only survivor their daughter, Elena. She and her brother are trying to move on, keep up their parents' traditions and responsibilities while adjusting to their aunt now as their caregiver. What they don't know is that life is about to change for them all. Not just for the Gilberts', but for the whole town.

All because of the arrival of a lost son of Mystic Falls. Stefan Salvatore. The Salvatores' are well aware of the secrets of Mystic Falls, they have been keeping them for centuries. Once a powerful founding family themselves, they are now one of the darkest secrets, and biggest dangers, to Mystic Falls. Especially when Stefan enrolls in the local high school and plans on staying. Since it draws the attention of his older brother Damon. With both brothers drawn to Elena, it's only a matter of time before these secrets they have been guarding come out, and more.



Set Fire to the Rain is a role play based on the hit show The Vampire Diaries. Taken from the pilot episode, we write out our own series with our own plots and twists. We may follow the show in some things but prefer our own member run plots and episodic story archs.
