The year is 1550, and it's been three years since Henry VIII died and left the kingdom in the hands of his young son, Edward Tudor. Gossip is rife that the young king isn't up to the task at hand, that he is too sickly, or that he is too easily corrupted. Besides that, there are those who aren't happy with the direction there country is going in, in particular those of the old faith who would rather see a Catholic on the throne, as opposed to a Protestant ruler. Expect treachery, deceit and scandal at the court of Edward VI.
- After the Tudors is a forum that's over a year old, and has been kept alive by it's most dedicated members.
- There is no application involved, nor is there a wordcount, but you are expected to be familiar with whatever character you choose to play, and expected to write substantial posts as well.
- The forum started off in the year 1547, but as of last March we jumped a few years ahead. I am currently in the process of developing a brief plot updates outline, where members will be able to read what has happened since the forum was created.
- AU is welcome as long as it doesn't affect the overall progress of the game, for example, Mary is currently married, but she will still become Queen of England, still marry Phillip of Spain and still die childless.
- We're currently in the midst of Christmas celebrations, so it's the perfect opportunity to mingle with both new and old members.
