"Goodnight Gill." He said simply and smiled as she kissed him and left. It was a better evening than he had expected. He finished his last bit of ale, paid for his drinks and stood up. He almost fell a few times on his way to the door and he knew that the way home would be even longer. He wondered if Gill lived far away, if she did he would have offered to walk her home. His home was a good distance away, back in the slums of the city. He knew that tomorrow he would hate everything, but he was ok with that, his night out was well worth it.
